Frightened Mermaid Anon Lady Luck Anon -Crouches near the newcomer. She wasn't showing any of the signs of being infected, and she didn't see any bite marks-
Can I get your name babe? -She saw that the mermaid was frightened, so she tried to not make 'erself look all too intimidating-
Nice to meet ya, River. I'm Lady Luck. We got alot o' stuff, includin' food, water, and blankets if ya need anythin'

The rabbit seemed nice enough and so the mermaid relaxed just a little. As the cat came up however, she tensed and eyed it with suspicion.
"I-I-I'm o-okay," she murmurs. "Th-th-thank you th-though.."

Frightened Mermaid Anon The rabbit seemed nice enough and so the mermaid relaxed just a little. As the cat came up however, she tensed and eyed it with suspicion.
"I-I-I'm o-okay," she murmurs. "Th-th-thank you th-though.." Xashowd was slightly surprised at River's suspicion, but he had a feeling about the reason why. "No need to worry miss. Even though I'm a cat right now, that doesn't mean I go nuts over fish. I much prefer Watermelon." Xashowd told her and smiled calmly. He hoped that would assuage her fears.

Offer always stands babe. Ya need anythin', feel scared, need someone to chat with, ya name it. We're all 'ere for each other.
-Moves away from her to give her space and calm down. Focuses on the lil monster inthe cage. Now that it's caught, she's lost a' what to do with it. They said somethin' 'bout usin' it for a cure, but they also said they needed a grombie. One locked inthe kitchen seemed like a better idea than infectin' someone 'ere.-
-Exhales slowly. This was gettin' too chaotic, even for 'er tastes-

While everything had been going on Arron had been quietly working on something that looked to be of small dart gun. He walked over the grunny in the cage pulled a few syringes out of his pocket & promptly stuck it. The grunny did try to bite him but was met with his thick gloves. Once that was done he mumbled something that sounded like, "Need the chem set..."
"I have all I need now..." said the mechanic. He tapped his wrist plate & disappeared into thin air.

Daenes had been watching the grunny like a hawk, simply waiting for the right moment to strike. Seeing that Arron had gotten what he needed, her fingers give a subtle twitch and she turns and walks towards the door, shoving stuff out of her way so she can slip out. The grunny starts to writhe and cry out in pain, it's blood boiling in it's vains, killing it slow and painful while she shuts the door behind her.

When you came in I smelled a lot of water and scales, so I just assumed..." Xashowd facepalmed. Wouldn't be the first time he made a wrong assumption, and it wouldn't be the last. "Nevermind. As long as you're okay, I'm good." Xashowd decided it'd be best to leave River alone for a while and flew closer to Daenes. She was still eyeing the Grunny with murderous intent hidden behind her pupils. She might fool others, but Xashowd was well accustomed to rage. He knew anger well...perhaps too well. "I suppose you're still seething over the Grunny." He said to her while facing the Grunny cage. "I realize you're a very angry person, and while I may not know the source of your anger, believe me when I say I know anger well." Xashowd turned to face Daenes. "Don't let it consume you. You will regret it." Xashowd then faced the cage once more. "...I know I did..." He muttered under his breath.

Stiffens, seein' the grunny-well-who knew what, but it ain't good-

-She turned to Daenes, but she was already gone-

-She takes off her coat and sets it over the cage. Nothin' they can do for the critter, but doesn' mean anyone 'as to see-

While watching the man work at the cage, Xashowd kept floating near Daenes. When the man was done, he saw Daenes start to walk away after a few seconds. He hoped his words got to her, but then he saw the Grunny begin to convulse uncontrollably. What the hell!? Xashowd thought, then saw Daenes shoving the barricade out of her way and opening the door. You! So that's what she meant when she said tripping wouldn't stop her...she must be a Hexer of some kind. Xashowd sped after Daenes. He wasn't entirely sure why, but everything seemed calm here, while Daenes was anything but calm. Plus...her apparent history with Gypsy intrigued him. Heedless of the danger, he followed her out the door, shutting it and moving the barricade back into place as he did so. "You're a stubborn one, aren't you?" Xashowd said in an even tone to Daenes as he flew after her.
