He was running. His long legs were adequately fast enough, he hoped. Struggling to hold onto his top hat, that he absolutely loved and did not want to give up to the thing behind him, he kept running.
He nearly stopped in his tracks when he heard her voice.
But he grinned, tipped his hat and kept on running.
"See ya later!"

The headache in her head had become so severe she was ignoring mostly anything. At the fork she didn't think, only reacted in her gut to move to the left. There was a small voice, which was either herself or that damn card thing she had, telling her to grab the nearby item. With a loud grunt she grabbed hold of it. "This better not be some trick!" She said quickly as she continued on. Behind her she heard several loud CRACK sounds as the forced took the brunt of the Jabberwocky's wrath.

Maybe Vaith shouldn't have said that remark. It seemed to have made it angrier. However, Vaith couldn't deny the simple truth. He wanted a hot babe to take him out.

Somewhere along the way she heard a bone-cracking sound as the beast behind her apparently fell over its feet. Large as it was she assumed taunting would be lost to it and she moved on, feeling the splintered husk of a tree scratch up against her. Another grunt escaped her and she moved a hand to her arm, feeling where it had torn the fabric. Running was something she hated most of all and even now with every new stride could only feel the sensation of shame creeping back up inside of her.
If the others were here they would take it, that was what they were for after all. In this world there was no telling what was up or down let alone who was who, if she knew ANY of them that is. The chase was bothersome and she weaved in and out of some trees, moving expertly among them while behind her the Jabberwocky took to them like a rhino to ballet. Crashes and thuds continued along with an angry howl. So large, yet ungraceful. The warrior noted. The Jabberwocky crashes out of the trees, closer than ever. He adds small zigs and zags as runs, trying to avoid claws or teeth without slowing down further. Claws rake his back. For a moment, it seems like the teeth are about to chomp again, but the second chance item shines and disappears and somehow he is fine. That success boosts his speed and Davey disappears safely into the woods. He doesn't stop running until he reaches a new area, just in case. "!" Suddenly having a sense of deja-vu, Borg side-stepped the fallen tree before noticing it was falling towards him. The broken tree trips the beast, sending it tumbling down and down the spiral... BrotherOfWar feared nothing really. He didn't know why he ran in spite of that. All it took was one look at the Jabberwocky and he started making a break as if his entire life depended on it.

He ran and ran, at times thinking that he might have lost the Jabberwocky only to pick up in speed when he heard the heavy footsteps coming from behind. He heard voices coming from behind. Voices that belonged to his family but he lowered his head and kept on running, telling himself that this was all a ploy and that it was impossible that any of his long lost family members existed here in this world.

He took a right when he came to the point where the path began to diverge, picking up the healing potion and downing it to regain some of his strength before he started running off into the distance again.

A faint beeping sound was bothering her and she jammed a fist towards one of the pockets in her jacket. With the single good eye leading her there was an entire world of view she was missing and the last thing she was going to do was die here of all places.
