"yeah, but I can at least stay the night a couple of times." he said softly, laying down across his brother's lap and being comforted by the warmth of his legs. He had hoped his brother wouldn't start talking about money, Ash was already stressed as it was with his back, the last thing he needed was more. "At least we will have each other though...I'd rather be homeless and struggling for food than separated from you."

Leo smiled a bit and nodded in agreement. "It could be kind of fun." he said softly, thinking of a real family again, without parents but still a family. "I told Sasha about my nightmares....and about our parents." he said softly, providing his brother this information so he knew there was at least one more person he could talk to about them. Then his thought turned to that night in the hospital when he asked Ash how his parents died, he never said but maybe that was because he was still shocked by the whole thing. Leo sat up and faced his brother. "Ash.....How did our parents die?" he asked, just like he asked before. But maybe he would get answers this time.

Leo looked over at his brother a bit sadly, turning to face him. "Please? I don't care if it wouldn't do me any good to know. It's not like before when I found out I was blind. I know you didn't tell me then because I was still in shock from what happened but it's been a year already!" he begged softly, placing a hand on Asher's. "Please tell me?"

Leo would have kept asking but he thought it might be best to quite while he's ahead. He didn't want to stress him out too much or make him angry at him, Ash was normally a very gentle and loving person but as soon as he became angry you practically needed a safe room and maybe you won't be affected. At least thats what Leo could conclude from his brother's rage against the kidnapper who almost killed him. "Alright...." he sighed, giving up and dropping that subject for the moment but of course his curiosity wasn't easily quenched. "Then....at least tell me why none of our relatives took us in when they died....or at least help us out sometimes? I mean we used to see them all the time before the fire and now they won't even come to see us even though they're just a couple towns away. Did we do something wrong?" he asked, still confused by that whole concept.

Leo looked down toward the floor. "Thats not fair brother.....you were able to see mom and dad just before they died...and you won't tell me what happened to them, or even why the rest of our family hates us. It's not good for one person to carry so much of the burden." he said softly, Leo couldn't put his finger on it but not knowing how his parents died created a hole in his heart that he just couldn't fill. He knew it wouldn't change anything if he knew how they died, but he felt as though it was his duty to know somehow. "You were lucky to see them before they died."

Leo blushed a bit as he was cradled by his brother, he always loved being held close, it made him feel like everything was okay in his world. "Okay....I'll let it go." he said regretfully but he still pondered quietly. "We should visit the grave sometime.....if anything to bring flowers for them." he knew Ash probably wouldn't be able to, maybe he could if the doctor's gave him a wheelchair or something to sit in so Ash wouldn't hurt his back anymore. "It's the least we could do for forgetting their death day...."

Leo shrugged, he didn't care for school no matter who was teaching it. "Maybe." he said softly, but he would just as sooner talk about their parents than school at the moment. Ash's tone changed just a bit at the mention of Leo and Sasha spending so much time together, it made Leo think that his brother was implying something but he wasn't quite sure. "Y-You don't think that....we're in a relationship or anything do you? I promise nothing happened last night, we just talked until we fell asleep!" he said defensively, understanding if his brother would be a little over protective of this as well.

Leo blushed brightly at his brother's teasing, he couldn't believe his brother would think he would fall for her. Sure she was cute, but he didn't see her in the way that suggested he wanted more of a relationship than what they already had. "Stopit!" he whined as his brother pinched his face. Even though Ash was joking, Leo's cheeks were still a little pink. "Thats another thing...how can I find someone special in the future if I can't see them? I mean isn't that how people fall in love with each other?"
