It was chaos. Hunters were everywhere, not-quite-right leaders were running amok.
In the chaos, Ami got distracted for a moment- only a moment! It was enough, the damage was done.

To top it off, not only did his last attack barely even scratch the beast, but friggin Caelius--or someone who could pass for him, was walking around the area with no regard to the man eating undead crab creature---which happened to hit Ryan when it aimed for him.
Ryan's hate for the death lead may have grew that day.

She coughed and sputtered as the wreckage cleared, then she saw just what they were up against.
Well damn. That was a very large crab in a very small space. Nothing to do but attack. At least Junpei was still here.

Ami, having found her focus now, ran towards the crab with full force, slashing and slicing across the body at breakneck speed.
It wasn't a secret that Ami wasn't fond of insects, and this goliath of a bug was certainly no exception.

Candace had been distracted by Caelius, watching him pass her with narrowed eyes until she was hit by the creature again. This was not okay. She backed off again, this time to quickly dig around the med kit and find something to help herself.

Finally Caelius was out of the way and--
--white foam obscured his vision as Aria decided to 'help' by using the fire extinguisher at the crab creature. But at least she was trying to help... right?

Unable to see, Ryan struck at whatever came too close. Which fortunately for him, turned out to be the crab creature. Unfortunately, his vision was so poor that he barely even scratched it. Again.
