"I feel better- considerably so. Thank you." Grants marveled at how precise Sabriel's magic wove through his arm. He had no doubt that her abilities could rival Heaven's prestigious healers. The General could imagine how many limbs she had fixed and ailments she had cured during her time.
"I'll know who to call if ever I need to be patched up."
--
"I can buy you some time, Kira. Arc, I can pin him down. I just need a moment to charge up..."
Lucas cocked his head back once he saw the lightning clash and spark. He grimaced but he knew he had to get close to be effective against Blight. Unfortunately his "darker self" had some formidable backup. However he had subdued Rogziel once before. So knocking his fists together, Lucas' palms would begin to glow with a dim red luster.
He connected with his element, focusing the light around his hands. The light would hum, amplified with intensity by Lucas' will. The Fallen King would push himself forward, rushing in to close the distance. After Arc's counter attack, Lucas expected Blight and Rogziel to respond quickly. If Lucas was to keep Kira safe and give Arc an opening, the Nephilim would have to act quick!
"Haaaaah-!!"
-- "Tch." The Corrupted one could feel his essence draw in towards Kira's blade. At this rate it was a matter of time before Kira's dark aura synced with the corruptive energy. How long would it take for Lucas' Vanguard to succumb? Although admittedly, Kira was doing well to filter the energy out. Was this because of Lucas' energy?
While Blight scowled, he had stepped to his left, shuffling himself away from the fist of Gokin. Arc's steel penetrated through the livid energy, tearing through it as it streaked and sparked around the counter. Ten streaks of energy split away from Blight's attack and had shifted to serpents, each hissing with malevolence and a feral hunger. Four serpents would lunge towards Arc as he was closest. These snakes would bite hard and attempt to corrupt his energy once again. Like venom, these serpents sought to destroy Arc from the inside out!
Two serpents had split off to target Kira while two others had honed in on Lucas. The last two would slither off to attack Sabriel and Grants. Although Lucas' [Second Skin] was active it would not be able to withstand Blight's attack for long. "You can't look after everyone, Lucas."
Rogziel had remained behind Blight until he shifted out of the way. Arc's attack was heading right for him! The ground around him trembled and rose up to take a defensive form. The earth gave and crumbled before him, Arc's Gokin now smashing into the Guardian's chest. He'd slide back several feet, grunting and bracing himself to keep his balance...
With two of Blight's serpents latched to his fists, Lucas had put himself in front of Rogziel with his arm cocked back. "Impact!!" He'd throw a punch, quickly expanding the heat around his hands. The light would flash briefly as a shockwave thundered out to strike Rogziel. "Urrgh!!" The combo of Arc and Lucas' attacks would put Rogziel on his back. The Guardian's hulking frame would thud into the ground and Lucas would be left standing between him and Blight.

As the snakes of energy closed in on him he would release a surge of lightning to eliminate them. The demons defenses were almost unrivaled, and Blight was getting ready to find that out the hard way. Of course Rogziel was about to find out just how unpredictable Arc's offense was! The fist of Gokin had splashed into the ground a little ways behind Rogizel, and Arc had planned on leaving to generate more Gokin, but that was before Lucas had grounded the angel. Now was the time to remove the angel from the equation. Ropes of Gokin would fly up from the pool and layer themselves over the grounded angel. Each end on the ropes would push into the ground to pull the ropes tight, of course the Gokin would also begin to assimilate the ground and spread further downwards of course the Gokin would also curve underneath the angel to make it that much hard to try and stand back up. If this worked out Blight will have lost his back up and was now surrounded.

The true war begins[!] ~”The winds of freedom blows for those can't hope for it”~[!] Kira would just keep his focus on Blight as Lucas and Arc leaped into action, instead of being in the front where he wanted to be, he had a much more important objective this time around. The sword would hum as Kira's aura would nearly be in synch with the corruption around and Kira would start to sweat under the strain of keeping himself from losing control as well as keeping the shield up around him. Once Blight launched his attack's Kira would focus on having his flame construct move to surround Sabriel and Grants as they would be under the flaming spirit that Kira used to protect himself, as the snakes neared the two the dragon would use it's wings to cover the two, as they would feel no heat what so ever, but have the protection. Kira however had other plans as he turned to the left and extended his left hand towards the snakes And their corrupt energies would force them away from the healer and downed man, and towards Kira himself, no longer having his defensive dragon. "Whatever you do don't mov- Urk!" Kira would stagger as the snakes found their mark bitting onto his forearm and the other two from behind him that came from Blight would penetrate Light's Second Skin. as the two would get Kira by his shoulders. Falling to one knee for a moment, the dark aura would be in perfect synch with the corruption energy that was getting absorbed into Freedom. Kira would stand again as the flames around him ignited again only around his fist as he glared towards Blight and forced the mighty blade to absorb faster as the flames around Kira too also went into the blade, course this was part of the plan. "Power... My Power..." Kira would stagger back for a moment as he draw the blade from the ground, as it hummed yet again. His body turning towards Sabriel and Grants as he looked down on them with the dark aura surrounding his body, completely in synch with the corruption, but due to Freedom being in his hands he had control for the time being, and with a grin and smile he'd talk to his friends once more. "Comes from my anger and friends!"Turning back around Kira would glare towards Blight with hatred and the blade in Kira's right hand would explode in power, as the flames ignited along the glyph path, however they were tainted with a darker color and the ground beneath it would crack and blow away. "Darkness Flame Rave!" Dashing towards Blight Kira would place the sword in standard two handed grip brought it over his right shoulder to swing from his upper right to lower left hip to try and cleave Blight into two. The blade hummed with an awesome power, if any one of them could feel the strength of the energy along the blade, it'd would be massive, considering all the corruption in the area, as well as Kira's own power, would be into the blade and if Blight were to be hit by it, little to say he'd regret it that instant. ❄XXXSabriel MegalithXXX❄Sabriel laughed as she stretched her ams above her head, making her back crickle and crack like popcorn. "You're welcome. It's difficult to do a full healing in the middle of battle because it leaves you essentially defenseless. People like bonehead over there forget us healers have our tricks though." At the word "bonehead" she inclined her head in Kira's direction while pointing up at Isilme who was still circling above. The bird was circling above watching and waiting for its move, like its caster had been earlier when trying to rescue Lucas.
No sooner had she spoke though, the Blight was creating his snakes and sending them in their direction. "Back into-" Her words were cut off as Kira sent a wall of protection around them and attracted the snakes aimed at them in his direction. "… Oh for goodness sake!" That's it. He can forget his next healing being full of pain dampeners." He'd seen her fight before. Hell, she was a bloody assassin. Her top priority on the battlefield might be healing, but it didn't mean she couldn't cause some serious damage here and there though!
While Sabriel had been conversing with grants Islime found its opening. Instead of going to Lucas' defense, it took another route, harrying the snakes that had attached them to Kira's back. Swooping and diving, each time pecking at the serpents with its sharp beak, being careful not to attack Kira instead. The aim was to get them to release before they could infect him with too much of their venom.
Meanwhile, the fairy got back to her feet with a groan. Her healing powers might work on other people, but not on herself. The same went for trying to use her potions on herself. They were imbued with her magic, so they wouldn't work on her. This mean that she was just going to have to battle with the pain in her back.
Pushing off with her right foot, she pulled herself into the air once more, biting the inside of her cheek. The effort was bringing stinging tears to her eyes, but she needed to make a delivery to Arc and Lucas. The potions that Kira had given her back earlier.

"Hey, just don't overdue it. I can cover you for now. Those three seem to have a plan to take care of Rogziel and...that thing. I can't imagine how long Lucas has been harboring that darkness..." Grants kept up with Sabriel on foot, rolling his right shoulder to feel his muscles loosen up. The General had decided to keep close to Sabriel in case Blight had tried to attack her again. He could at least assist her in delivering her potions.
---
Blight was gazing intently at Kira as he rushed in headstrong. Indeed the amount of power emanating from Kira's sword was incredible! Blight was nearly fixated on it. Rogziel's spiritual energy was already a treat. He'd revel in taking Kira's next. However he wasn't about be cleaved in half so easily. No, his influence over Rogziel would be apparent as the Guardian's hammer manifested and rushed to Blight's defense.
A clash of metal and a powerful shock wave would ripple from the impact, Rogziel's hammer quickly rocketing ahead to block Kira's sword. Energy would spill out from the collision, electricity and dark tendrils of Blight's corruption kissing the pale earth. Blight's golden eyes widened as he stepped back. Yes, he was surrounded but that wouldn't be for long.
Blight's body rippled and distorted as another image of himself formed beside him. Another would form then another and another! Quickly, Blight's image had appeared throughout the canyon. Worse more was that his essence came from each one. Just when Arc, Kira, and Lucas had him surrounded he had turned the tables. His voice would call out, distorted as it echoed through the canyon, "You feel good, don't you Kira? Lucas, you know how it feels...to have my power. You can tell him. If you survive, Kira I'll be here for you. I'll always...be..."
--
Lucas raised his arms, readying himself for when Blight's image multiplied. The tactic was common but with little way to pinpoint his physical form it would put Lucas on edge. He'd scoff, manipulating the light around him to be used as a radar. Infrared swept the canyon until he could locate Blight's actual location. "Your head games aren't going to work here, Blight...Hm?!"
The Fallen King whipped around, looking at Rogziel. Blight had moved behind him and was kneeling down at the Guardian's head...
[Charge: 1] ---
"Who's playing games, Lucas? Certainly not I..." Blight's hand took hold of Rogziel's face. With Rogziel down and restrained, Blight could do with him as he pleased! A horrifying howl of wind cried through the canyon and the ground rumbled once more. Lightning flashed from the thick clouds, striking at the walls of earth. The Guardian's body was being assimilated and taken into Blight's direct control. Where as before, Blight's influence had a grip on Rogziel now the Corrupted one would become the Guardian!
Blight's images would fade as would Rogziel's body. Rogziel's mask would reform over Blight's face. The hammer would soar back to Blight's side and he would take hold of it in his right hand. He'd crack his neck, flexing his body to feel the extent of his new found power. Rogziel's domain had now become Blight's.

As Blight reached towards Rogziel the ground beneath the guardian would give way and swallow him whole keeping him from Blight's reach. While Arc wasn't sure if it was the real Blight or one of the fakes the Legendary Devil wasn't going to take any chances. The Gokin that had tied the guardian down had assimilated most of the ground beneath him allowing Arc to essentially bury the angel. Tendrils of Gokin would erupt from the ground around this Blight joining together above him to form a cage. There had been a reason that it had been going for Rogziel, and Arc had assumed that whatever that reason was, it had to have been the real Blight. Extending his arm towards the newly formed cage the demon would unleash a constant stream of lightning. The cage would arc with power as Arcturus began his march towards the cage. The pool of Gokin he had been standing on would follow directly behind him as he did so. "I'm growing bored of you and your games Blight. Your so one dimensional. So focused on only one thing. I never thought I'd encounter something simpler than Inferno."The bars of the cage were close enough together so that Blight wouldn't be able to squeeze his way out, and with the lightning now coursing through out the cage even if it wanted to try, it wouldn't escape unscathed. The downfall to this constant stream of lightning was that it was going to drain the demon quickly. Hopefully this cage would keep Blight trapped long enough for Arc to hit him with a chaos beam.

Fight the darkness[!] ~”The winds of freedom blows for those can't hope for it”~[!] Kira would roar as he swung his sword, but meet something that wouldn't budge, and it was some giant hammer that flew in. Course Kira was close to his target, but alas he would have to wait longer. Landing on his feet he would watch as Blight made copy's and Kira could feel all the corruption around the area, and he couldn't tell which was which, and that was frustrating. 'Man i cant figure out which one he is...time to clear this place of corruption anyway'Taking a few steps back, Kira would hear Blight speak and if anything it wasn't wrong, but Blight should know the stubbornness of kira's and how he wouldn't accept the darkness. "Not interested!" Pointing his sword to the sky he'd fire the energy that was stored up into the clouds and slowly but surely, they began to lose the corruption power as small bright lights started to float down towards the ground cleansing any corruption that it touched, sooner or later the area would be cleansed. "Freedom is more then a weapon, it's hope to rid the world of those that threaten it, just..." Kira would hunch over panting as the sword lost it's magical glow, and unknown to the other's to use the Rave abilities took a toll on the user and it'd show, for now Kira was just out of breath but would still be able to fight if the need came. ❄XXXSabriel MegalithXXX❄Twisting and turning, Sabriel navigated the pillars of lightening, pulling her potions for energy and health restoration from where she'd stored them. Just as she'd been about to reach Lucas though the wind picked up through the gully.
While it may have been strong enough to leave the boys on the ground unaffected, it had a terrible effect on Sabriel. Ordinarily she'd have been able to read the wind patterns and take evasive actions. This time though, the gale came on so suddenly she didn't see it coming and teamed with her already injured wing muscles she couldn't do anything to save herself.
Tumbling from the air, she slid along the ground creating a small dust cloud behind her as she came to a rest close behind Lucas, her head hitting a protruding rock with a sickening crack. "Tá brón orm" "I'm sorry" With a very tiny moan she closed her eyes and let herself succumb to the black fog that was clouding her vision.
One of her wings lay spread out behind her on an odd angle while the other drooped as if it was at rest. From out her seemingly lifeless hand rolled the blue potion bottle, while the other rested in the palm like an oddly shaped ruby.

"Sabriel!" Grants had tried to catch her before she tumbled into the ground. His legs pushing him ahead to leap and snatch her from the bellowing winds. He wasn't about to let the one who just healed him take a nasty fall.
The General looked down to Sabriel and then to Kira. He'd look to Arc and then Lucas. Whatever words Lucas had said earlier he was certain they were tainted with Blight's influence. He couldn't imagine these people risking so much for a man who simply wanted power. That Blight entity needed to be stopped and he'd trust in the others to do so. For now he'd stay with Sabriel and observe...that was until he heard a muffled voice from his inner pocket.
"..nts? Can y...epeat th...ere muffled. Grants?"
Grants would pull out the beacon, relieved that his message got through to Wyndom. "Yes! I'm here! We're with Lucas. Do you copy? We're with Lucas. Wyndom?"
---
"Well done, Kira. You too, Sabriel and Grants..."
Lucas looked to Arc for a moment and then back to Blight. Now that the Corrupted one was trapped, Lucas could ensure his restraint. "Lucifer's Throne..." A sphere of light would appear around Blight, Lucas, and Arc. He'd trap them inside but he wasn't about to let Blight out of his sights. The sphere of light was modeled after Inferno's signature "Lava Prison". With Arc's Gokin in place, Blight wasn't going anywhere.
"Without me- without anyone, Blight you couldn't possibly attain power. You were merely a tool in the beginning. Nothing more, nothing less. You're a leech and without a host you're fated to shrivel and die. I just need to know how you freed yourself. The Ring of Ojyma's seal shouldn't have weakened so soon."
--
Blight for once stayed silent and listened. Rogziel had been placed just out of reach and now he found himself caged like some animal. It was tempting to feed off of Arc's lightning but he would refrain once he saw Lucas form "Lucifer's Throne". He'd cross his arms as he also felt Kira expel the corruption from the area.
"Inferno lets his pride get in the way. He'll never be the strongest that way...Yes, I'm not a complex being. Sometimes something so simple can be the most dangerous. You would know best, Lucas."
[Charge: 3] --
"I'm getting tired of you talk. Arc, let's end this."

As the sphere of light formed around them, the lightning on the cage of Gokin would die down. The cage of Gokin would compress inwards, not to crush Blight but to restrain him. If Blight was unable to avoid the Gokin wrapping around him, the creature would find himself floating in the air restrained by just enough Gokin to keep him from escaping, as the rest lay upon the ground. His head would be pointed at Arc, while he feet were pointed at the sphere of light with Lucas off to the side. If the demon was successful in getting Blight into this situation he would lift up his left arm and point it at him. His glove would peel away to reveal a seal on the palm of his hand. Left seal release. With this one thought the seal on his left hand would glow before firing a Chaos Beam directly at Blight. The beam was large enough to completely envelop the entity of corruption. The Legendary Devil was going to make sure that no hint of Blight remained. That every bit of him was consumed by the beam so that he could never rear his ugly head again.

The chaos beam struck home and a haunting last scene of Blight grinning would be erased from this plane. Lucas' question was never quite answered but he was overly relieved that they were rid of him. Lucas would rotate the Lucifer's Prison to contain Arc's Chaos energy and to hold up the defense in case Blight had one more trick up his sleeve. The light pulsated and danced as the chaos energy ate away at it steadily. The Nephilim would groan but keep fueling the prison with energy until Arc's attack had dispersed.
Blight had been obliterated.
"Ungh..." Lucas would drop the barrier, sighing as he went into contemplation. The Canyon was rid of Blight's influence and he imagined Rogziel was going to be down and out for a while. After all, Blight had manipulated the Guardian's mountainous aura. The very earth had begun to decay but all would come to a stand still once Blight was gone.
The Fallen King would look back to Kira, Grants, and Sabriel. He'd look to Arc again and crack a small but meaningful smile. "I owe you guys a drink. That shouldn't have happened...The seal that kept my corruption at bay was meant to last a very, very long time. I need to discuss some things with you all as well. What Blight said...what I said wasn't entirely wrong before. My words got twisted but I need to clarify some things."
Lucas would walk to Sabriel and kneel down beside her and Grants. He'd hold his hand over her as he harnessed his abilities to aid his friend. His [Second Skin] could speed up the healing process for others when he wasn't in battle. Just as his energy could amplify other's offensive capabilities he could in turn buffer someone's defensive and clerical ones. Sabriel would perhaps feel a comforting warmth from Lucas' energy as it bathed her body. Hopefully she would wake up soon. Until then he would continue,
"I do believe the Infinity Matrix exists. And I am fairly certain it's being utilized in some way. Blight's goals were simple but they were dangerous. I can only imagine what someone would do if they had a political agenda."

With Blight gone Arc would lift Rogziel up from hiding and rest his body down on a solid section of ground, the Gokin that had trapped him would flow back to Arc with the rest of his Gokin. Compacting itself tightly on his body while reducing its weight as the demon turned to face Lucas. "Last time we stopped for a drink we were ambushed by a legion of angels remember?"Letting out a laugh Arc would reform the chair he had been sitting in and sit down once more. His eyes would scan the group around him before he tilted his head back and let out a sigh. Nothing was ever simple and went according to plan. Not even meeting up with some allies and discussing things. "If it does exist and someone is already utilizing it then we already have problems. Even if we do find out who that someone is, what are we supposed to do against someone with that type of power?"Things had gone from bad to worse. Instead of trying to find and access this Infinity Matrix, now they were going to have to face someone that is likely already using it.

Fight the darkness[!] ~”The winds of freedom blows for those can't hope for it”~[!] He would exhale as he watched Blight take the full brunt of Arc's and Lucas' combo the light was blinding to say the least and it was powerful too, that chaos beam was impressive and Kira knew he should never get on Arc's bad side with just that, it was apparent that Blight's existence was gonna end there, but something was wrong, Kira couldn't get his eye's off Blight's grin that even though he was fading away, he almost looked like he was conent with it, and as Blight started to vanish Kira could feel the darkness inside himself stirring, and he would struggle to control it, as he'd grit his teeth as they became fangs and his hair grew longer. 'Sorry you ain't getting out.' He would flare up in the azure flames for but a second as he would regain his composer, sealing the darkness in the back of his mind. He would watch Lucas and Arc start returning to the group and he'd look to his hair for a moment which became more spiky and longer. "And how i'll explain this one?" Next Lucas would talk about getting people a drink and about his corruption and how he had some thing's to explain. "Gimme a coke and we'll call it good." He would next to the group as they discussed the next course of action, honestly it was all confusing how deep did this whole battle go? Doesn't matter. "well, which is the best course of action, personally gathering the rest of our allies, i think would be the better course of action as we still gather some more info on what we're against? i dunno just my two cents."He would back away from the group for a moment as he doesnt understand how his hair grew so fast, it was mind boggling, and in either case when Lucas decided what to do next, he would be right behind them all the way, but first trying to keep his own demon under control and his new hair had him completely confused. ❄XXXSabriel MegalithXXX❄TThe problem with fairies was that while some of them could heal others with ease, they didn’t have the magical properties to heal themselves. Sure, their healing rate was faster than the average human, but it still took a while. A broken bone for example in a fairy would take them 3 weeks to heal compared to the 6 required for a human under natural healing circumstances.
The first sign of life in Sabriel that Lucas and the others would see was her fingers twitching and then relaxing. She wasn’t dead, but boy did the pain in her head make her wish she was. Keeping her eyes closed, she took stock of her injuries. There were some simple cuts, scrapes and bruises from when she slid across the ground, there was the muscles in her back and then of course her head. She didn’t need a mirror to know that the lump would be impressive. Ome would probably have laughed about it being basically a second head. The sticky sensation across her hair was a bit of a worry though. It meant she was bleeding. Great. Thankfully there didn’t appear to be any skeletal damage.
It took her a moment to recognize the feeling of Lucas’ second skin washing over her. At first it surprised her into twitching her fingers again, but she then relaxed to accept it. So the healer became the patient. What a turn of events. She’d let it work over her for a moment vaguely aware that the boys were standing above her talking.
She decided that opening her eyes would be a good idea. The world swam fuzzily in front of her in a nauseating blur of colour. Why did she think that was a good idea again? That had been a terrible idea. It took her only a few seconds to have her eyes closed again with a groan.
