Running through the hallway seemed to have no merit as Millie found herself back at the moving floor. How exactly does one get turned around in a hallway?

Millie tried again but ended up in the same spot. She'd never had such trouble making it through the hallway before.

Millie didn't try to run this time and as a result, she spent a good deal of time looking at the mirrors.
Standing in front of one that had made her tall and fat, she wondered what it would be like to be taller and to not have to look up to see most students.

Distracted by the mirrors, Millie ran into one, forming a small crack in it.
Falling back on her backside, Millie rubbed her forehead. "Ow....How did I..."
She didn't get very far in the sentence because a gnome had popped out of nowhere and was nearly chasing her outside.
"Well that was silly" Millie said with a frown.

Azmodel was back to the 13th Gate once again. taking a deep breath she stepped in the first room.
As expected, crossing wasn't too difficult and the ghoul really wanted to get away from the glitter in here.

It was time to face the mirrors, both literally and figuratively. She usually didn't have much difficulties but one never knows.
Since she had already managed to cross this room a couple of times Azmodel became distracted by some of the funnier reflections of herself in the various deforming mirrors. She laughed at the faces she was making until one of the reflections winked at her.
... She had never winked !!!

Panicking a little after the strange event with the winking mirror image the first year decided it was time to leave this room. Too bad she wasn't thinking straight and ended up at the entrance of the hallway again. When did she take a turn???

More than a little creeped out Azmodel quite desperately searched the exit.
She had gotten so frantic that she bumped a mirror and broke it. A gnome shooed her away, but at least she was out !

There was the sound of static followed by a only a tiny screech from the microphone:"ATTENTION, PROMETEERS!" There was a muffled sound of rustling papers, and a throat was cleared before the voice continued on. "If everyone could please make their way to the Big Top Tent! Very soon your Student Council will be announcing this years newly elected Prom Court." The microphone was turned off with a dull thud, and the music continued on where it had left off. ....And then the mic was turned back on with another, much longer screech. "OH AND THE SENIOR OF THE YEAR AS WELL! We will be announcing that too, of course!" Mumbled apologies could be overheard as the microphone clicked off for a second time. Prom Court and Senior of the Year will be announced at 3PM PST with Prom Court requested dances to immediately follow! Don't be late!

Tavi was a hyper ball of pure unadulterated energy for the entire evening as he flitted from one game booth to another. Must be from the snacks that he kept going on and on about. Yves concluded, letting the kitsune demon tug him and Zel along, for the first time since he arrived at Halloween enjoying himself over something as inane as this prom thing that most if not all of the scarelings around him were apparently excited about though he would never be inclined to admit this flat out to anyone including himself.
All the fun and games were a welcomed distraction really from the grieving over the loss of his family that still weighed heavily on every fiber of his being. He knew that he shouldn't be wallowing in it for that wouldn't be a productive activity in itself but he couldn't help it. Even if it was causing him to lose some sleep to the point that he had to seek help from one of the Conquest scholars to dose him with something to force his body to rest. He really had both Tavi and Zel to thank for putting up with him the entire time. Had they not been around, he wouldn't even last an entire minute in this place for sure.
The War horseman had stopped by one of the refreshment booths for a drink before heading down the path towards the fun house that Tavi obviously couldn't wait any longer to try. He couldn't really say that he had any idea as to what that would be like but so long as whatever they did kept both Tavi and Zel in good spirits, he supposed that it really couldn't hurt to tag along for the joy ride.
"Enjoying yourself plenty..?" Lifting a hand slightly to wave awkwardly at the kitsune boil demon, he gave him a small smile, his attention shifting momentarily to the voodoo doll he had in his arms then back at him again. Nope. He still didn't quite understand just what was it about that that had the little kit so smitten entirely by it.

Neza was slowly walking to 13th Gate. Curiosity about what was at the end of this fun house was killing her. She boldly marched in ready to see what was on the other end.
And what a disappointment her march was. So much energy wasted just to be outsmarted by a machine. And she was close to her favourite mirror hall too...
