"Well, this shall be your end." Sanctum said as he watched the Admiral leap into the air, land on his platform and slash at him. Sanctum would quickly raise his blade and block the first two slashes, but somehow he was unable to dodge the last one, which left a diagonal scar on his chest, but there was little to no blood. Looking down at his wound, Sanctum seemed unfazed by it, in fact he had a look of interest on his face, "So the lowly human has some bite after all. Well then, maybe I should show you my true power." Sanctum told the man as he radiated a dark aura around him, just as the ship was beginning to fail.

Admiral Julius didn't back down despite Sanctum's aura. "I retreat from neither man nor beast. Nor anything in between," he said as he slashed at Sanctum again. He was completely focused on their fight and hadn't realized the peril the ship was in.

Admiral Alex wiped some blood from her mouth as she thought for a moment. "Fine," she said simply. "I hate to break it to you though, but we've wasted too much time. The other crew have taken all the functioning lifeboats. We could have had the carriers come get us. Except you blew them all up. And I highly doubt the crew of your pirate ship is still alive since Juli sent the Steam Crow after them. So unless you know how to fly a pirate ship, I can't think of anything." She looked worriedly at the fight between Sanctum and Admiral Julius, which seemed to have swung heavily in Sanctum's favor.

Hearing Julius, a smile crept across Sanctum's face as he would once again block Julius' slash. "And that is where you are mistaken, foolish creature." Sanctum said as his eyes glowed white, "I am neither man, beast or demon. I am Sanctum, God of Reality." Sanctum announced as hundreds of swords materialized around him in the air, all of which pointed directly at Julius. "And you are just a worm. Not meant to be in my presence. Become erased from existence." Lifting up his left arm, Sanctum caused all of the swords to shoot at Julius.

There was no way for Admiral Julius to dodge all of the blades that Sanctum sent at him. To his credit he did his best to the very end. He dodged several of the blades and deflected others but one by one he was pierced through by the glowing blades. His rapier continued to dance in a stunning display of endurance and skill but in the end he fell hard. His uniform was drenched in his blood as he fell backwards off Sanctum's platform, landing on his back.

"No!" Cried Admiral Alex as she ran to Admiral Julius's side. Her arm changed back into its normal form as she grabbed him with both hands, ignoring the pain in her wrist. She looked down at him as he was clearly mortally wounded. "Wait! You can't die! That's an order Admiral Julius!" She cried as tears filled her eyes. Admiral Julius looked up at her. "Call me Juli," he said with a weak laugh. Admiral Alex gave a small smile despite herself and nodded. They said nothing more, just looking each other in the eyes until Admiral Julius closed his for the final time. Admiral Alex didn't look at Shira or Sanctum, her back to them. "I guess you guys should head back to your pirate ship," she said as she held Admiral Julius. "Just...forget about me. I'll stay here."

"You have some nerve to not only touch my blade but defy me, little shrub." Sanctum said as he walked to Shira and placed his hand on her head and started to pull her hair, "You do recall that you are my property, right?" Sanctum asked, but would soon sigh, "Never mind, I have more important plans to enact. If I were you, I would be careful not to try this again. I might not be so lenient the next time." Sanctum would then look over at the woman and laugh in her face, "Take you with us? No, you will die here with your poor excuse of an protector."

Yet again, Shira would disrespect him and even talk back, something that Sanctum would not tolerate. "Shinigami Girl, do you know why you have that mark on your side?" he asked as he snapped his fingers, suddenly, Shira would feel a sharp stinging pain from the mark, almost as if a sword was piercing straight through her. The pain would be excruciating, "You still try and defy me. You might not care about what happens to you, but can the same be said about Atticus?"
