 Niji Han she did her best not to blink until after the drops went in, after which she fluttered her lashes a few times, a few black tears falling from the eye as she sat up. "thank you, nii-san...." she mumbled, giving lock a hug. turning to Ethan, she smiled again an hugged him. "and thank you, Iisan....." she sighed, pulling back and putting a small headband on to show him in full light the large scars that ran down the left side of her face, there were four large gash marks that made a repitous pattern from her forehead, down to her neck. her left eye gazed at him numbly in comparison to the lively right one. "you helped me... even though you didn't know...." she sighed, hugging him tighter. it was a rare thing, for her to find people so kind. {translation:}

๑۩۞۩๑ ๑۩ﺴ Some shadows have more depth. ﺴ۩๑ Ethan looked at Niji's scars and gasped. What... What kind of thing could even make such scars? Did Lock's parents do that? Did a monster? And.... Why did she say that he helped her? "But I didn't do anything." he mumbled as she hugged him.

Niji Han The young neko gave a small sigh and hugged Ethan a bit more as she watched Lock. "Do I have to have the ear drops....?" She pouted. "They're so sticky..... And they smell...." She grimaced, her ears flat against her head. {translation:}

๑۩۞۩๑๑۩ﺴ Some shadows have more depth. ﺴ۩๑ A tiny chuckle came out of Ethan when he heard what Niji called Lock. He'd probably dangle that over him for about a week, or longer depending on his reaction. Seeing the ear drops, Ethan sniffed and instantly wrinkled his nose in disgust. Niji was right, they smelled awful!

✻ ✺ ✹ ✴ʆ ock ҥan✸ ✷ ✶ ✵He rolled his eyes. "Oh come on, don't be a little jerk." Tilting her head with surprising tenderness, Lock sighed and dripped two drops into her ear, quickly putting the drops away and pulling her into his arms. "I'm still so sorry that this happened, Niji."

They looked a little cute, he kinda wished he and Markus could be like that instead of both of them always finding a reason to fight. Suddenly something furry poked at his back and made him jump forward with a squeak. He turned around with pursed lips, expecting the shadow to be behind him. But instead was only... a tail?

Niji Han "Noooo!!!" She whined, shaking her head as tears suddenly formed in her eyes. "Don't ask that!" She sniffed and let her tail drop, instantly clinging to Ethan instead of Lock. "Please.....don't ask me to tell...... I-I can't.... " she whimpered, her entire being shaking as she hurried her face into Ethan's shoulder. {translation:}

๑۩۞۩๑๑۩ﺴ Some shadows have more depth. ﺴ۩๑ Meanwhile, Ethan had his attention focused on the tail - He had long decided not to eavesdrop on their personal matters. But this tail...so purple with... more purple on the tip! It wiggled around almost mockingly, he... he had to touch it. Ethan felt his eyebrow twitch when the tail dropped. He reached out and was close to touching it when he felt Niji cling to him. Blinking in surprise, he held her comfortingly and looked at Lock for an answer. He kind of regretted it, the Korean looked determined and furious. "Umm," Ethan murmured, feeling a bit uncomfortable for intervening. "I don't think you should pressure her, Lock." he said while stroking her back like his mom would when he was upset.

He visibly trembled from his rage, and had to force himself to breathe just to keep himself under control. "I can't help you find them without your help, Niji. I can't find your family."
