Brendan Night A hint of a blush crept across his face, but he smiled at Gabi and showed her his precious little bit of paper. " I already checked all the bars that his old GSF friends mentioned around the stadium, and Latent... I honestly have no other idea of where to even start looking for him." stare

Gabi pressed a finger to her nose, and winked at Brendan. "Trust me, if Fae cares about you, she keeps better tabs on you than a lioness with her young." She laughed at the mental image that created and brushed a stray hair from her face. "Hono has her feathers, but we don't have Hono, so we'll have to do things the new aged way...except ...well.." She frowned, technically new aged would be the magic way that Hono...Gabi mentally growled at herself. She'd been trying so hard to look cool to Bren that she ended up falling over her own two feet, even if she did look like she could actually be James' sister now.
"Anyways, yeah, if we head to the GSF, I can probably get a better idea where he's been."

The boy shrugged and nodded back the way Gabi had come from. "My bike is parked down there...?"

Gabi looked Brendan up and down. "Well, I have my moped. I think both of us can fit. I'm getting closer to my father's height, but I'm still built as tiny as my mum. But you'll have to set your legs around me. Can you sit like that?" She didn't want him getting uncomfortable, but it would be the quickest way." She left the comment about finding Hono alone. Hono could take care of herself, if eveverything she'd heard about Night was true, he might be in trouble.

The boy wiggled his nose as he walked along the dark path carefully, making sure not to step in anything unpleasant, as he was wearing sandals. The sewers were... well, sewers. Not the most pleasant place to be.
"Man this place stinks."
Why was Tade in the sewers? Because the boss told him to do it. And what the boss orders, he does.

"A moped? I really think that the bike would actually be faster." xp Bren managed to make a leap of logic, and realised where he had made his mistake. " I don't have a bicycle Gabi, my bike is a nice little Ninja ZX-6... a Racing Motorcycle... that My mom would likely kick my but for even thinking of riding!" xd The young man straightened up and actually beamed as he looked at the young woman. " She is black with chrome accents and the extended leather seat for a passenger... I bought it thinking that Sam would come with me, but she is being stubborn about this." stare

Gabi blinked, stunned. It was hard to imagine the meek and mild Brendan Hunter on bike of the same series that her brother's motorcycle was. She placed a hand on Bren's hand and looked up at him, really looked at him. Her other hand reached up to brush the hair from his face. She never would have had the audacity to touch Bren like this before Winter had invaded her life.
"She sounds beautiful, Bren. But I don't see how you can see to drive through all that hair that hides those pretty eyes."

Brendan smiled at Gabi, his blue eyes sparkling in a way that managed to make him look charming in a slightly scruffy way. "I always wear a helmet, and it helps to keep my hair out of my eyes." wink
He didn't pull away from her, but he did straighten up so that he was smiling down at her a bit wolfishly. "I would hate to ruin your nice hair, but I have to insist that you wear a helmet as well, I like to go as fast as I can get away with!" xd
Like a flower blooming in the sun Bren almost became a different person with a little attention from the right person.

Gabi chuckled, her face filling with warmth. "I don't mind. I'm used to it." James insisted on her wearing a helmet even with her moped, especially since he had twinked with it. So she turned and began walking towards where he had mentioned the bike was, but not before tossing her hair over her shoulder and looking at Brendan.
"So do I get to wrap my arms around you, too?"

"Oh, sorry, I didnt see you there." the boy spoke up after bumping into something, or rather someone. Why would there be someone else in the sewers would be a good question, but what made the situation even more odd was that the boy seemed to know who it was, though vaguely, not on buddy-buddy terms it would seem.
"I believe this is for you." Tade would say as he dug a note out of his pockets and handed it to the other before walking off in the same direction he came from.
A moment of silence passed as the boy disappeared from the scene.
"Hawrest rivvil." the voice spat, and all was quiet.

"So do I get to wrap my arms around you, too?"Brendan deffinatly had a wolfish grin on his face as he shook his bangs back out of his eyes and followed along behind Gabi. " Any time you want...." Apperently he was his mother's son when it came to flirting.. wink Gabi was sweet, and already he thought that she was fun, but it was not enough to distract the young man from the problem with his parents...hell the problem with his entire family! Most of the time he thought they were normal, and then Sam would go all old on him and his Mom would get a far away look in her eyes and smile before she simply dissapeared, off to find one of her feathers and the person who needed her help, or his grandmother would pop into his head and ask if he had finished reviwing the complex spells that she had left with him in the last dream! And that was not including any of the stories that he had heard about his father, or uncle Evan... sweatdrop They were all just so damn strange sometimes...

Gabi blushed faintly, it came natural to her, this gift of their father's. But at the same time, Tellus and Fae had tried to teach them control. But since it came from neither of them, Gabi had found control by hiding everything. She became the ugly duckling on purpose. It was the only way she had escaped elementary school without being molested.
But still, this idea of Winter's, to dress like she appeared, to take advantage of this was strange. Then again, so was riding a bike with a skirt this short. She pushed it from her mind, and let the natural sway of her hips head down the hill. Gabi knew her family and his family were both strange, maybe that was why she was crushing on him so hard.
A mother who people seemed to fall over their feet around, even before their father had come on the scene. A grandmother who'd seen almost as much life as Gaia herself, A grandfather who barely looked older than their mother, who barely looked older than them; Tellus had been mistaken for their sister or babysitter more than their mother. As had Fae. Hell, Dante wasn't even in his proper body. Lucian, who was on his way to become a Knight of Anima. And there was absolutely nothing normal about the other set of twins in the family either.
She sighed, and as she found the bike she thought was his, she waited, and looked up at him with a distracted smile.
