 Charlotte, the Demon Maid
"I heard my name." Charlotte said, leaning out from her room. She had pretty good ears... but then, given how big they were, that wasn't really a surprise. Rednal just waved slightly as she appeared. "We're just gonna watch a movie up in my room. Grab something fun and come join us, would you?" he asked. Charlotte hopped out of her room and curtsied to both Rednal and Miki, then headed into the living room (and its movie shelf) as Rednal headed upstairs to get things ready. Of course, even aside from the house's maid, they clearly weren't alone... inside Rednal's room, and sitting on the bed, was a small white fox. It sat up as the others entered and stared intently at Miki for a moment, then turned around a few times and sat down again, tail wagging happily as it invited her over. Rednal himself just moved over to the closet, taking out a warm blanket. The home was heated, but it was still winter, after all... and there was something nice about being under a blanket when you watched a movie. "Char keeps the sheets clean, but you can use this." he offered, holding it out to Miki before he sat down on his bed, opposite the television.

Miki Nanao Miki tried very hard not to let her pout show, ending up with a rather stiff expression as she followed Rednal upstairs. Not only was Charlotte coming, but there was a white fox lying on the bed as they entered the room. She should have expected as such, considering the residents of the house, but things weren't going to be quite so easy for her. "Ah, thank you."Taking the blanket from Rednal, she sat down next to the boy and lightly threw the blanket around the two of them, pretending like it was nothing, but internally trying very hard not to blush. Taking her mind off of Rednal for a moment, she looked to the small fox on the bed, and pat her lap, inviting it to come over. "Having met Kyori, I'm guessing that's not an ordinary fox?"

"All right, put the movie in, and... oh, right, I need to make dinner!" Maybe she'd actually forgotten... or maybe she was just helping things along a little bit. Judging by the wink she gave Miki, it might have been the latter, and Charlotte slipped out of the room.Even as the maid left, the little fox raced over and hopped into Miki's lap, curling up happily. Rednal looked at it for a few moments. "I'm about 98% sure that's Siona." he noted. The fox just looked at him and flicked its ears, then stood up and licked Miki's face a few times before dropping back down and settling in to watch the start of the movie. Judging by the amount of attention it was paying, it had no trouble at all understanding things... and Rednal just shook his head with a wry smile. He reached over and scratched the fox's head a few times, careful to avoid any unwanted contact with Miki. "Just let me know if you want me to pause it for a bit so you can grab a snack or something." he noted. And with that, the movie went on...

Miki NanaoSiona?Well, she seemed friendly enough, happy to not just curl up in Miki's lap but to lick her face as well, so it was fine. At the mention of snacks, Miki realised again just how hungry she was, she had had only a few crackers earlier, when she first arrived, and nothing since, but decided to tough it out, Charlotte had just mentioned she was making dinner. "I should be fine, thank you though, it's been a while since I last watched a movie, I'm looking forward to it."As she spoke, Miki was softly running her fingers through Siona's fur, paying special attention to the fox's bushy tail. It really was very cute, and Miki couldn't help but wonder if it was like Kyori, able to change it's form as it pleased. Kyori's tails had been amazingly fluffy, just as Siona's was. "I'm almost jealous of how soft her fur is, I wonder what shampoo she uses?"Miki spoke without realising it, and quickly covered her mouth with her hand, blushing deeply.

That... was a question he didn't have an answer to. Privately, Rednal suspected that Kyori and Siona simply didn't use shampoo in the first place - they were simply clean whenever they wanted to be, without all the fuss and bother of actually getting that way. On the other hand, they did occasionally take baths (and visit the hot spring at the inn), and they certainly weren't above using human things for that when they wanted to. It was more preference than necessity, though... probably. What, was he just going to ask a girl how she bathed? That would have been too much even for the relationships he had. ...Admittedly, Yuno would have answered right away, but that didn't mean he had any right to ask the question. "Um... ask her later, I guess." he said quietly, so as to not interrupt things. Meanwhile, Siona just rolled slightly in Miki's lap, exposing her belly for rubs even as she continued watching the movie with Miki and Rednal. Every touch of affection was quickly responded to by the fox, who seemed dead-set on cuddling with Miki as much as possible while not being too distracting about it.

Miki NanaoNodding in response to Rednal, Miki gave Siona the tummy rubs she not so subtly requested, giggling softly as she did. Not to say she wasn't paying attention to the movie, she was, and she was getting into it, Charlotte had picked a good one, before running away. Miki was going to have to have words with the maid, she had wanted to be alone with Rednal, but as abruptly as this was embarrassing. Not to mention that, with Siona being here, on her lap, there was nothing Miki could do aside from pat the fox and watch the movie, making comments on certain scenes here and there. Still, it was fun, and very relaxing, two things she had been missing for too long. Stifling a yawn, Miki briefly considered taking a very proactive approach to her crush, and leaning her head on Rednal's shoulder, but ultimately decided against it, she had only been here for not even one afternoon after all, she didn't want to seem too forward in case she scared him off. A small part of her brain laughed at her own silliness, considering how many girls he was living with, there was no way her being a little forward could scare him off, but Miki pushed that voice away, as she also didn't want to come across as too easy. "Um, Rednal? If it's alright with you, I'd like to practice outside, when it gets later... And darker. Is that ok?"He'd been so helpful so far, so the red-eyed girl doubted he would turn her request down, but she was still apprehensive.

[12/12 - Afternoon] Rednal Ak'ThiasAt Miki's words, Rednal rubbed his chin thoughtfully. He definitely wanted to feel supportive, so rather than simply ordering her around, it was better to take a different approach. He may have been helping to provide a roof over her head, but authoritarian stuff wasn't his style. "You don't need my permission to come and go." he answered with a slight smile as the movie headed towards its end. "I do have two suggestions, though. First, just to be sure, transform down in the basement a few times. If it's all good, take Siona with you. If nothing else, she can help you find your way back if you get lost." It was Miki's first day here, after all, and nobody could blame her if she hadn't memorized the way back to the house yet. "If you really want to stretch, there's a good hill outside of town that people don't visit much."Meanwhile, some faint noises could be heard from down below, like someone else had entered the house. Siona, on the other hand, licked Miki again when her name was mentioned and nodded a few times.

Miki NanaoSmiling, Miki nodded twice. She was more than willing to test her powers again in the safe zone of the basement. She was fairly certain she had control now, but it was better to be safe, she didn't want to hurt anyone. She did wonder how taking the small fox with her would help get her home, maybe it was well trained? The foxling certainly did seem to be keeping up with both the movie and conversation. "Alright, that makes sense, I'll head there when it gets darker."Looking towards the door, Miki tilted her head slightly. "There's someone else living here too? Wait, I think I remember you mentioned that, sorry, my head's a little foggy still."

[12/12 - Afternoon]  YunoAfter a few moments, the sound of someone coming up the stairs could be heard. Charlotte's voice could be heard a moment later, calling out to someone... and the footsteps resumed, slower and firmer this time. The door slowly creaked open to reveal the face of a girl with pink hair as she looked in and saw Rednal and Miki together on his bed, under some warm blankets, as a cute movie played across from them. Then, slowly, the door was pulled shut again. A few minutes later, it opened as Yuno returned in more casual clothing and dived under the blankets on Rednal's other side, moving possessively over and staring at the television. Despite that, however, it was clear the movie didn't actually have any of her attention... but it was almost over, and she seemed willing to wait for it to finish. For his part, Rednal just shrugged and gestured slightly, clearly trying to convey that it wasn't a problem. Siona, too, seemed like she was still relaxed in Miki's lap.

??? As the group was watching a movie though..A loud Knock Knock Knocking could be heard on the door...preceeded by the Ding Dong of a doorbell.

Miki NanaoMiki, not surprisingly, suddenly felt a *lot* less comfortable under the blanket, a chill running down her spine as she watched Yuno out of the corner of her eye, staring at the tv. It was clear the pink-haired girl was not here to enjoy the end of the movie. -cough- "Um... Hi? I'm Miki, Miki Nanao... Rednal has been a big help to me this afternoon..."Her voice trailing off, the blue-haired girl shifted uncomfortably under the blanket, edging ever so slightly away from Rednal, her hands gripping Siona a little too tightly. As the doorbell rung downstairs, Miki shot up, almost dropping the foxling in her lap, just managing to catch her before unceremoniously dumping the ball of fluff on the bed. "I'll go see who that is! And help Char with dinner! I do want to be helpful!"With that, Miki left the room as quickly as politeness would allow, and practically ran down the stairs. Something about Yuno just really, really, unnerved her, and she couldn't stay in the same room. Skidding to a halt in front of the door, Miki took a breath, calming herself, she'd beat Charlotte here, so she opened the door with a wide smile. "Hello! How can I help you?"

 Jo(shu) MichieruAs the door opened up, an older student awaited at the other side..flourishing a cape, and waving his hand slightly.
"Greetings, unfamiliar girl. I'm Geirin Kuzunoha. I heard that the Ak-Man had someone new dropping by through the connections."
He pulled open his cape, showing a sort of crow-like badge...Giving an easy smile.
"Rednal, in this case. In case his name's odd."
He lightly rubbed the back of his head, but waved a hand.
"I'm the Kuzunoha in charge of this area. You could kind of say, I'm a bit of a oss for this area...And, I may have heard some things through the grapevine."
He flicked out a tube....Showing off a small swell of power..As he smiled.
"And, I think i have a buddy friend you could get along with. Well, given that you're the girl I'm looking for, and not some other maiden in the House of Ak'Thias."
He had been talking a bit, but he waited at this..wondering if the girl before him was like Kanade.

Atma... virus."She used the unfamiliar word awkwardly, and she tilted her head slightly as she looked Geirin up and down. He didn't look much older than she did, but then again neither did Ciela. That either meant he was immensely strong for his age, or their rankings meant nothing, but she wasn't about to ask. "I think you're probably looking for me, yes, as I'm the newest here, though... Yuno, uh, did just get home?"Miki suppressed a shudder at the thought of Yuno and her strange death-stare. "What do you mean 'buddy friend'? Someone like me? I'd like to meet someone else with this... problem. And learn how they deal with it, I think I've got control of it thanks to Rednal, but I'd like to get better, stronger."

Shu shrugged his shoulders a bit, and stretched out slightly...giving a small grin.
"Newest girl..I'm Shu. Jo(Shu) Michieru. Shu, for short. Or, Shuzunoha. Or, you know. 'Dude with the Hair.' I'm not picky."
His eyes had some bags under them...And a bit of a lanky figure under his clothes...But, he tried to put off as friendly of an aura as he could.
"It's nice to meet you, miss...?"

Miki NanaoGiggling a little as Shu listed off a number of names for himself, Miki smiled brightly at the 'Dude with the Hair'. "It's nice to meet you Shu, I'm Miki. I feel like I've said my own name more today than I have in a very long time, and I imagine I'm only going to say it more!"Gently waving her hand, Miki beckoned Shu to come inside. "Here, I'm sure no one would mind if I invited you in, and that way we can talk out of the cold."Without waiting for an answer, Miki grabbed Shu's hand and pulled him inside, closing the door behind them, and lead the older boy to the kitchen table, where she had been sitting with Rednal just before, taking the same seat she had then, and waved Shu to take whichever he preferred. "So, what brings you here, looking for me? Aside from potential friendship with Kanade, of course."
