And then suddenly everything was lit up. The lake disappeared and Mei dropped like a sack full of rocks. An electric jolt from the floor, she hit the ground hard. Her small body flopping for a couple seconds. What. Was. That?! The Jiang Shi passed out for a minute or two until she woke up, but found that she couldn't move her body at all. She was paralyzed and it was the worst feeling in the world. She struggled to break free but just couldn't do it. Mei had felt helpless before but now, now that she couldn't move what was going to happen?

The flames didn't seem to help, even with Danny going at it as well. Before Jericho could try and see what else could be done, he tilted his head as he saw an array of numbers on the ice. Wait. What was... He didn't get much of a chance to think it over as he let out a pained roar from the electricity that suddenly coursed through his body.
Falling to the ground, he groaned, now finding it hard to move.
"COWARDS!!" he snarled while trying to get up. It wasn't much use right now, however. Leave it to the hunters to try these little tricks. They couldn't even do a proper ambush in person! Damn them all.
Damn them all...
It didn't take long before felt himself being rather drained. Maybe he should just lay here...

Zar had fallen behind the main group. He couldn't help himself, he had to go and finish the filing he'd already begun, only then could he actually go try and catch up to the others.
It was a surprisingly long way.

The electricity surged through Yin, causing him to drop, unable to do anything to stop or slow his fall, or to help out either of the zomboils near him. Really, while it was surprising, it was not surprising it all. The unexpected was only to be expected, especially in a place like this. Actually though...electricity did not feel so bad. Maybe if he just...he could go to sleep right here. It was nice and cozy really.

The siren had reached the room, and then of course, things went to s**t. That was just Israfel's luck. A single foot was all it took to be on the floor as pain went up his pin, prompting a short cry of pain as the monster collapsed on the floor. It wasn't that bad as it faded, and the siren sighed, wings folding around him. It might just be best to wait and rest...

Alex wasn't exactly close to the door, so he didn't hear it when it clicked shut. What he couldn't help but notice, however, was the fact that the runes he was currently looking at all faded away, leaving nothing for him to continue to inspect, though that bad feeling in his stomach only seemed to worsen as it felt like an ice cold dagger was plunged into his belly. This couldn't be good, not good at all. He had only half an instant to think, could only just start turning away from the wall, when it hit him. An electric surge that coursed through his body, dropping him instantly to the floor with a jolt of extreme pain. He could only cry out wordlessly, unable to speak as he hit the ground with a thud, teeth now gritted tight.
Thankfully the pain had only lasted an instant, though the damage appeared to be done. He couldn't seem to move, his limbs feeling too heavy, his body feeling numb. He didn't want to move, really. Just wanted to close his eyes, to give in to the sudden weariness that weighed him down. He felt like there was a reason he should be fighting against all of this, but he was just too tired, just couldn't make himself care. His thought process seemed dulled by whatever had hit him, though if his brain had been working at full capacity he probably would have only had one thought.
Really? Again? How jacking stupid did he have to be to keep walking into this bullshit.

Shun saw that Mitsu was up as well, though the same couldn't be said for a few of the others. He remained crouched down as he returned to her, then looking towards Mot and Lizzy. "Kuso..." he cursed again. They needed to get people up. The Hunters were probably going to be on their way at this point, having taken out a good chunk of the students. "Mot, get your a** up before I have to find a stick to smack you with," he hissed sharply to the cowboy. Perhaps that would be some incentive for him to struggle free.

"Shi--" was all Roch managed to get out before the electricity hit him. He gritted his teeth, then jerked free of the paralysis, shaking it off much like a dog. "Son of a witch," he cursed, turning to see what had happened. "Who did that? Show yourselves!" he bellowed, his guitar in his hand.

Wait ...what? QAQ " D-Don't hit Big Brother with a s-stick," Mitsu protested as she pushed her way up. Never not being electrocuted. It seemed to be her thing her body already going into the familiar pattern of twitches and random jerks.

With Roch's call, Danny shook her head, waking up out of whatever stupor she'd been tranced into by the lake. The lake.
s**t what was she even doing?! That was WATER. Roch was right! She took a few steps back, and one towards Roch, when it happened. Electricity and her were not friends. She screamed as the electricity ripped through her, but there was nothing she could do. She hit the dirt hard, wings bending at an awkward angle.
Something guttural escaped Danny's lips, but she couldn't get the words out. She was too sleepy. Wow the ground felt really nice actually. Had dirt always been so comfortable?
She was just gonna ... take a nap ...

Running, the wolfos cursed as he only felt that this was taking far too long.
A fork in the path, and the wolfos listened for the sounds of the students. Two paths one with screams, one with naught. A choice it was possible there was another path, or something hidden.
A good alpha made informed decisions, a bad alpha made foolish ones. But when faced in a place he knew not- The white wolfos took the path less traveled. There might be another way to reach the students.

Mei glanced over at the black dog as he approached her, still preoccupied with the frozen like lake to really acknowledge him for the time being. If this water wasn't ice, then how in Jack's name did it become crystal? When the flash of light flickered from the lake, Mei squinted until her eyes regained their focus. Whatever that was, it couldn't be good.
The electricity was enough to cause the doll to drop to her knees. Her legs, all too numb to move for the moment. The lake itself, was now tiled and numbered. Was it all a trap?
"Shiiit." Struggling against the temptation of sleeping, Mei managed to get get to her feet, though she still felt a little light headed.
"Tybalt!?" He was right behind her when this happened! Whirling around, careful not to fall flat on her face when doing so, the doll looked to see if Tybalt was alright as well.
