*Eve shied* "Duh. That was my point. He wouldn't be a full adviser legally, but a sercite one just between the two of us. To help us make the hard decistions. We are yokai. You Yokai of power, i Yokai of war, battles, and comflict. He is a human, which means we would be meeting all three sides of the table when a major decistion needs to be made. So, i guess i was right shorstraw." She smiled and looked to him, "You are going to become important one day. Just as i said to you on the battle field the day we met. For now on, your our secrite, and just between the two of us, advisor."

*He jumped* "Me! I'm just a kid!" He was now excited, "but i'll help anyways i can!" He smiled happily, now he would become important, and actully have a reasion for being here within the castle instead of just being a guest leeching of keria, at least he felt like he leeched of keria, well he felt he was leching of of keria becuse he started living here, eating here, and ever sleeping here. Now he was able to help his greatest two frineds, and his mistress in something that would provide for millions of poeple. This made him feel needed and more important then aver. He was lost for words.*

*Eve chukkled* "i'm sure you will. Just don't tell anyone." She went to move however accidently bumped the desk. Suddenly all the papers in a stack fell over. "Damn it i just..." she noticed somthing ontop of the stack remaining that wasn't suppost to be there. Two letters. One had a name Eve. THe other had a name, Keria. She looked up to Keria, "he just keeps on giving doesn't he. More or less he hid these here knowing i would go through them. She picke dup hers. It wasn't only sealed, it was sealed with a barrior only eve could unlock. She rased a brow, "i wonder what these say..." he mumbled.

Kiera turned her own letter in her hands a couple of times. And her eyes scanned it closely. "Mine has a hard puzzle on it. Well. Hard to normal people." She scanned it again and solved the puzzle in a flash, before taking the letter out of the envelope and letting eyes register the words and take them into her crammed brain.

*The letter was infact solved quickly and as she opened it up, it seemed a diffrent sort of paper. SOmething spechal, a paper that could only be read once.
Dear Keria,
I wrote this letter directly to you for only you to read. It's not to be shared with anyone else. Nor do i want you to read it outload. If my days are truly up there are a few things i want you to know, i would like to say, and a few things i would like to explain.
First off, you were no accedent. Ameile may have thought i lost all my memorys at the time, however thats not entirely true. I knew she wasn't my wife at the time and decided there was somthing in the world i wanted to experince form myself. Having a little girl. Eve dosn't really count becuse I wasn't really the one, well you know what i mean. My point is, i orignally planned to spend alot of time with you. I was going to teach you how to hunt, and at the time how to use a weapon of all sorts. But as i started to when you grew so quickly, things got more and more complicated. I thought i was ready to finally setal down, but... it seemed life wouldn't alow me too. There was so much i wanted to do with you, my first doughter. By the time i finally had a little bit of time, you had already rejected me, and grown up faster then intisapated due to wha tyou are. Sadly i knew i would never win you back over and it was too late. More or less life got complicated again. I am sorry for not being a regualr dad to you, but hey i was at least one unlike any other i many ways i asure you even so. There are a few sercites i wanted to pass down to each of my three girls. I may never have that chance. I have tough eve alittle, and thats as much time as i had. I love you, always will wethe ryou like it or not. I love all of you. Also think of Hikari alittle bit. She was alittle more of a mother to you then both ameile and I combined when you were growing up in the first time perriod as i stated above. Please take care of her as she did to you.
Second, your life is infact like a pack of cards. You can cheat and predict what will happen next, which card you draw, or you can choose to just draw. It's not about the game of many you can play, it's about the fact you are willing to pick up the next card and take on whatever it may hold rather then cheat and pick one from the bottom of the deck. Do not fall into the hole i have, make sure you have a family of your own, wether small or large. Becuse i know your too young to understand it now, but in a world like we live, it's the only thing you can get to have hope of being happy for. It gives you reasion to live, something to fight for, and someone to come home to at the end of the day.
Last, the coat. It contains millions of items i have collected since five years old alover the world. Most dangours, some useful. And i'm sure there ae billions more to collect. Its you choice wether or not to contain them or not. The coat has a few secrites. One it changes tothe warer. Howeve ryou cannot choose what it will turn into. It chooses from the persons personallity. However it is driven by will. You cannot take items in or out unless you have the will to use if and a resion for the coat to use your will. Also, i know this will sound strange, but never let a person inside the coat. There will be no more anything if you do. It's a large burrden i know. another thing, the coat is fire proof, static and elitrisity proof and among other things aswell. It works as a sheild, but only from the persons Pride. Your pride is what you are willing to stand for. Such as a family for example. I hope it will protect you even when my little girl is weakest.

*Suddnely the paper lit itself on fire and burned up into nothingness but ashes.*

Kiera's face grew graver as she read the letter, and once it had disappeared, her hands remained. Holding an empty object. She finally lifted her head up and sighed, letting her arms fall and her eyelids shut. "The b*****d." She finally said.

*Eve's letter burned up aswell. An d a tear ran down her face as she crossed her arms. She wiped it away and continued on as her tough pride would alow, "well i'm guessing he has these hiddenl letters alover the house hidden away for each person. It shows he knew alot about each and everyone one of us. And... some more then other..." she looked tothe floor, "I ever see him again, even if it's in hell years from now, i'm so going to slap him as hard as i can." She smiled, "though i guess i still have train. My real father as he stated." SHe looked up to Keria, "sorry sis. you and Veria don't even have what i have. Sometimes i feel like were so distant you know. Only being a half sister... well corter sister actully since train is my real father and he was part of yuji and watnot. But hey that doesn't matter never has." She lightly punched Keria arm headed out the room, "i think i'm going to go for a walk. Theres just somewhere i need to go for a bit. We can work ont he country thing in a bit." With that she walked out.*

Kiera turned to shortstraw, fighting back her overpowering emotions. Which surprisingly weren't anger for once. Her hand clentched, But nothing more. "I guess It's Hikari next. She'll been a pain, that's for sure."

*Shorstraw nodded* "She is a softer kind of person. But a really good one. It will take effort i think. But not too much." He smiled, "she kept going to the kitchen ever since the will thing, so i would first look there for her. Meby becuse theres a momey it the kitchen i don't know. he smiled, "comeon lets go."

Kiera nodded and started to make her way to the kitchen. Maybe it wasn't going to be as easy as shortstraw made it out like it was going to be. She hoped he was right. But from what she heard from the night before, she was pretty stirred up. Once she reached the kitchen, Hikari was cooking. Kiera's eyes thinned, and she walked next to her thinking out strategies. "Smells good." Kiera said softly. Close up, she noticed Hikari was more... vacant. "Didn't know you cared." Hikari's words had a sharp bite, and Kiera knew then. "You don't seem okay, auntie Hikari." She made sure to turn up the charm. Hikari didn't look at her, just kept on cooking. "I'm fine." She said sternly, But her voice trembeled a little.

*Shorstraw thought it approperate. He walked over to her and although he was short to her, he hugged her* He didn't say anything, he just hugged her. ALot like yuji used to do infact. Expechall when yuji was scared or when they just started out. Meanwhile he figured the rest would be up to Keria.*

Hikari stopped cooking for a second when shortstraw hugged her, and shut her eyes tight before she went back to cooking. "You don't need to be like that, I'm fine. Really." Kiera raised an eyebrow at Hikari, and she finally looked over to Kiera. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Hikari said with a bemused expression. Kiera continued to stare. And Hikari cracked as a single tear fell unauthourized down her cheek. "Told you." Kiera scoffed. Hikari wiped.it away with a teatowl and smiled. "Oh, that wasn't supposed to happen."

Hikari grinned, looking to Kiera. "Now why do I find that hard to believe coming from Kiera too." Kiera shrugged yet smiled. "Make the most of it, I say. Kiera's gone saint for a day." They both laughed before Hikari looked down to the cooking. "How's Amelie?" She questioned, unsure. Kiera cocked her head slightly. "Shattered into tiny pieces." Hikari rolled her eyes. "Of course." Kiers tried her tactics now. "Shouldn't you be stronger for the both of you? All this.time Amelie has been the stronger twin is it your time to step up?" Hikari stopped, and looked to Kiera slowly. "I suppose..."

*Shorstraw nodded* "Isn't that what familiy does Ms Hikari?" He smiled, "she's you sister right. It dosn't matte rif your the oldest or the youngest, when ones lower and falls the other picks them up and brushes them all. Somtimes it's rare to be equle, however it great to have that rarity when it matters most." he nodded, "of course this goes for you too." He smiled happily at her.
