"Then we dance, we dance for our selves and too each other." She was rather good at paying attention to small details. Blame fussing over Shehk 24/7 never mind learning to read the emotions of Siddie who was a shadow; faces where the very base of reading emotions.
Hel was sad.
Hel needed some fun.
An arm twined around her friends she tugged her to the dance floor, "Shall I lead?" Her purple eyes danced with delight as she put Hel through a tiny spin.

No sooner had they stepped into the elegant auditorium-turned-ball-room, Bacca had been so entranced she barely noticed her Male of the evening had suddenly excused himself. "This is marvelous!" She began, turning to beam at him through her mask in a moment of cheerful clarity only to discover... her "date" had bolted. What had gone wrong? Why hadn't he listened to her commands? Had she hit him hard enough? Her stomach was suddenly clenched in terror, her eyes welling up as she lifted her mask to glance around wildly. "Rochester?" She murmured distantly. No. NO. Baccabollo of War would NOT be abandoned by a puny weak silly MALE of all things! She had this under control! HE WAS HER'S FOR THE EVENING AND HE WOULD REMEMBER IT. Snarling, her bare feet slapped at the floor as she stalked into the room, her wriggling, whimpering dress just hanging on to keep her from indecency as she glanced this way and that through every cluster of students and horsemen.... Finally, her wings flapped, spreading wide in the middle of the room as she screamed at the top of her lungs, "ROCHESTER!!!! YOU WILL OBEY ME!!" Don't leave her don't leave her oh god don't leave her she was alone he had left her all alone in this sea of unfamiliar faces and her sister was not here and he had abandoned her she had done something wrong... " ROCHESTER!!"

Shik did to want to be there. At all. Shaheen's irritation was visible, but it boiled on the inside of him - at best his expression was bit more cross than usual, but then Shikoba's neutral face looked distant naturally. Loud music. Loud people. Unreliable lights. It all assaulted him like an unwanted bucket of cold water, and when his "date" stepped away he crossed his arms and gave a disapproving sweep of the area.
The whole setting he loathed, but nothing was more bothersome than the fact that he had somehow found himself sporting a more formal set of clothes: if by formal you meant a similar-looking-waist-cloth-only-fancier-designs. The only real effort Shik put forth on were his dyes, which had been repainted and redesigned so that he looked sharper and fiercer than usual, and the handsome wolf pelt slung about his shoulder like a cape.
Hair? Pffff. Hair was fine as it was, mohawk/mullet hybrid and feathers and all. It had been cleaned and nothing more.
His senses assaulted, Shik was in no mood for Shaheen's games and hissed back, "This was your idea, Shaheen, and if I have to hear it was mine one more time, I will show you my idea of what painful retribution this will bring about." Not even the music, which was nothing he had ever heard before, could be enjoyed. Not when he felt like a bat maneuvering about in the day.
Ah, and there it was: his wings were shifting in agitation now too.

High in the rafters, tucked away so that nobody could see her, Nomiki perched with a sure-footedness that only a sister of the War Clan could have. Clad only in the traditional leathers of her Clan, Nomiki did not intend on becoming an active member of the social dance.
She watched her beloved sister from on high, chewing her lower lip as Bacca barreled into the center of the room.
No, no. Bacca would be fine.
When Bacca started bellowing, Nomi hunched over.
This was going swimmingly.

He didn't, but Shehk didn't press it.
"Alright." she relented before she slipped her hand into his to give it a squeeze. "I'm sorry for being such a worry wart over you all the time."

"I will not allow him to treat you that way." Despite Tess' pleas and the part of him that did not wish to upset her further, Sheridan stood stubbornly and unyielding. He was not especially eager to relent or forgive at that moment, nor was he so willing to share his ghoulfriend with another one. What the-- The dragon blinked, raising a brow at the ghoul who had suddenly appeared between them. He had the sneaking suspicion that had not been entirely accidental, yet it did have the effect of softening his mood, if only a little. "Don't worry about it." Not that his tail twitched any less furiously or that he wasn't still thinking of freezing the imp right there where he stood.

It was bound to happen. And it should not have been surprising WHO the pair was. Entering to the prom in style, the dynamic duo announced themselves with a clack of heels and a swish of a skirt. Both decked out in colors that others would associate with them, both of them also too lazy to get a different mask to wear. They matched anyways. Boils in dresses? Introducing Princess Jack and Princess Remi. Remi gave a wicked smirk at his partner in crime, Jack the cat king. The fluffy kitsune originally had no real intentions to attend the gathering, but with a little persuasion (it did not take much), here they were and looking FABULOUS, if Remi had a say. Plus, even better? "Hey jack?" Remi said momentarily before flinging one of the packages they had made RIGHT at his bro. That being? A glitter bomb.

It was probably the best decision all year.
He didn't even have to really twist his bro's arm very much - the idea of fabric and just going all out on being THOSE TWO. With the swish of weighted hips, his heels clicked in tune with the kitsune's, if they weren't so different colour wise, they'd almost be a mirror image.
Sort of.
Striking a pose in the doorway, he felt ******** FABULOUS, the green and black lacy dress flowing from under him, big and bold, like his brother's blue sleek sexy thing.
Hearing him call attention to the cat-king, he turned just in time to get a glitterbomb to the face. Making a resounding "AH!" sound before whipping his first glitterbomb a short second after the original bomb, hopingg it would find it's mark on the kitsune, a burse of blues and purples suddenly littering his black and greens.
It was now, officially, a ******** party.

Alex was in a very happy place at the moment. Surrounded by delicious food, still able to feel faint traces of warmth in his hand from where Yin had held it. Yin, holding his hand in public (even if he did have to somewhat trick him into it) and wearing a suit and a tie. Nope, he still wasn't over that, and probably wouldn't be all night. He was having one of the happiest moments of his unlife, and it only got better when he heard a familiar voice chime out his name. Looking down, he offered a Mei a large smile and a nod, "Always, Mei, always." He meant to chat with the ghoul more, but her date (assuming it was her date, anyways) seemed eager to move on off to the dance floor. And there again, that feeling of envy. The zomboil was able to turn his attention back to Yin now, and he gave the boil a large smile, flashing his for once actually freshly brushed teeth before plucking some of the food off of his plate and popping it into his mouth. He chewed it down and swallowed it before answering. "It wasn't that bad. I've found time to grab myself a bite to eat once in a while." If once in a while meant the one time King took him to the undead awareness festival and bought him lunch, then he wasn't exactly lying, right? It was somewhat good to know that he hadn't left Yin hanging completely, though he still felt a little badly about it. Someday, somehow, he was actually going to be on time! Popping some more food in his mouth, he had another glance around while he thought about his answer. "Well, I mean, it is a dance..." Was he hinting towards something? Was he giving Yin big sad pathetic zombie eyes? Well, it would be kind of hard to tell with the mask obscuring his face but yes, yes he was. And all the while, he had no idea that a certain famine horsemen who owed him something was zoning in on him. ramenli tagging you from my computer room. it is glorious and fantastic and beats fireworks any day QQ

musicaloner7 I am here to bother you (f o U o)f Finally deciding to leave the corner, Clyde went over to help himself to some food. He was in awe at all the different kinds just sitting there on the tables, and the varcolac probably would have helped himself to the food if the sight of moths didn’t distract him. Not that he has anything against moths, it was just…a long story. The fact they were fluttering around a pretty lady was a bonus.

The purple haired boil was at least tall enough to show up in the crowd, which was good, he supposed, because if she kept bellowing they would probably get tossed out of the place. "Yo," he said cheerfully, pulling out his mask finally. "I was healing up my face," he told her easily as he tied on the mask. Keep her calm, boil, he told himself. A bit off guard, too. "You hungry? They got an awesome looking spread!" Then he held out his arm to his date.

Jericho let out a weak chuckle at that. "Well, we guess someone has to. Though, we've been worrying a lot of people lately. We don't want to... but given everything, it's hard."

Someone probably should have actually helped Sura with the whole.. 'dressing up' thing. Her attempt at Scarentines had been charming, but it hadn't really been her thing.
Her attempt for Prom was even worse, however.
Mask?
For her face?
She'd pulled a brown paper bag over her head, used her fingers to poke out holes for the eyes, and her horns had ripped through the top. It was probably as good at 'making a mask' as she was going to get for it.
Clothing?
Same as normal.
She'd just added a bow tie. She almost looked like a lost and somewhat insane hobo standing in the middle of the room as she stared out into the distance...or towards the gnomes. Whichever.

TG regarded the undead with a frown as she commented Legs. "Of course she is. She has class. I guess even you can see that." He said, not one to want to talk in any amount of time with an undead.
"Have fun making your ghoulfriend cold. I'll be making her other half hot." To which the fire imp flicked his own tail, turning and walking away. "Come on, sugar-thighs. Let's dance."

False was done his good deed, Freya was happy and with Herryk. So he did the next best thing.
"LAAAAADDDIIEEEEEES"
Marching over the robed and masked Arms wrapped around the two boils waist not minding the glitter at all tugging them in as Sharpie sat at their feet. "Jack, you are a lying con, you didn't tell me little boy blue was here." The reaper reached up ruffling Rem's hair and ears, "I need to get out more I had no idea you where both under the same roof. I've been here a few months and never knew our weekend warrior kitsune was hanging out with the fuzz ball king!"
Sharpie was still at the trios feet, face puffed up slightly, "They won't give me any cake because I'm a kitty!"
"Ignore the cat you boys look wonderful tonight."
