▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ "I don't get what people get so worked up. Suzume tugged on Misaki's sleeve with a grin. "You've seen me dance, now I want to see you fight! Why don't you show me a demonstration? Maybe you could show me some archery skills! Come on, you owe me a show, Mi-chan!" Suzume pointed out.
She was determined to see exactly what Misaki could do. She wasn't going to let Misaki leave the training grounds until she showed Suzume something really cool.
((Heh. She's that determined that I had to post again to remind you they're still here, Oz. XD )) If it's not any fun, then why bother?" '

Misaki Shinonome ______________________________ Misaki blinked and blushed a little. Show her something? Misaki will look like a brute if she showed Suzume what she could do. After all, Suzume was graceful when she danced. Misaki was... a fighter. Fighting is not graceful at all. But... perhaps archery might work. After all, it didn't require that much brute strength.
"I'll clean up the mess I made and I'll try looking for a yumi bow since those are the ones I used to using." Misaki said as she picked up the broken pieces of the bow she broke.
She went to the storage area and returned the supplies. After searching around, she managed to find the familiar long bow. She grasped the bow and a feeling of nostalgia came to her as she recalled practicing with the bow. Her parents were yelling at her to concentrate and Misaki was thinking how annoying they were and how she couldn't concentrate with their lecturing.
But she missed their lectures now.
Misaki returned to Suzume with the bow. "Right. I'll show you something now. It's not as impressive as your dancing and I'm actually... better with swords, but I hope you don't mind." Misaki told her.

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ "I don't get what people get so worked up. Suzume had seen the bow often back at her country. All the archers looked so serious and concentrated and Misaki also seemed to have that intense kind of atmosphere. Suzume could never be that intense at all. She alwasy got distracted over the silliest things. She watched with anticipation as Misaki made her way to the targets.
"I guess I should be quiet when you start. But I'm really excited! It'd be so cool if you could hit the center! But no one's perfect really. But you seem like the type with pretty good aim! Hey! Now that I think about it, my friend Kasie is a ghost. Do you think you could help her out with her issues with touching things? I don't mean it to be gross. She just wants to be like a normal student and I want to help her!" Suzume said. She started to quiet down so Misaki could shoot her arrow. If it's not any fun, then why bother?" '

Misaki Shinonome ______________________________ Misaki listened to Suzume patiently and waited for her to quiet down. Misaki will answer her questions later after she did one shot. Her eyes stared intensely at the target. She stepped into place and made sure she had the right posture. Her back was straight and she made sure she had the proper balance.
Once she was sure she had her posture right, she then gripped at the bow string with her right hand and then positioned her arrow on the bow's grip. Then she raised the bow overhead and slowly as the bow started to come down, she started to draw. As she drew, she felt a wave of homesickness and could almost hear her parents yelling at her to concentrate as she stared at the target. Once she reached full draw, Misaki then released the bowstring.
The arrow instantly flew for the target as Misaki remained in place. There was a thud. It didn't hit the center, but it was pretty close. Misaki let out a sigh and slowly lowered her bow. Misaki turned to Suzume.
"Boring, huh? Archery is so intense, but when it's over, I always feel relieved. It sure makes me happy if the arrow almost hits the target too." Misaki said to Suzume with a small smile. ______________________________

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ "I don't get what people get so worked up. What was she talking about!? The suspence was killing Suzume. In fact, she wanted to cheer Misaki on as she was trying to shoot, but she couldn't really do that or she'd distract her. But Misaki was definitely really cool! Suzume grinned and took her friend's hands in hers. "What are you talking about Misaki!? That was totally cool! You're really awesome and you were close to the target too! Hey! Maybe you can teach me!"
Suzume's eyes shone with anticipation. She wanted to look as cool as Misaki. Of course she probably couldn't be so intense and probably would fail at archery since Suzume wasn't very good at concentrating. "And return, I can teach you how to dance! Or maybe you want to learn how to play the koto because I can teach you that too!"
((Sorry for the lateness, I was trying to make a character and I can't decide between a female substitute teacher or a male student. Now that I think about it, the males are starting to dominate. =w=" )) If it's not any fun, then why bother?" '

"Life is a game that is played with a smile. If you can't smile, grin... Giselle walked into the training grounds having found nothing to do all day. Sighing she went ahead to change into her fencing gear. When she was young her father sent her to London every summer for six years to be taught fencing. Giselle had grown to do very well, and she practices all the time, or at least any chance she could find. Seeing a few others on the grounds she looked around wondering if anyone was willing to be her sparring partner. She walked to Suzume remembering her from class. " Hi Suzume. Whose your friend?" she asked looking to the stranger. Her clothes were odd she thought, but who was she to talk. She wore old victorian clothes as a norm in modern society. " Hello my name is Giselle. It's nice to meet you." she said holding out her hand to the new face. ...if you can't grin, keep out of the way until you can.

Misaki Shinonome ______________________________ "Maybe I can teach you later, Suzume. Maybe over the weekend when we have more free time." Misaki told her with a smile.
Misaki liked the idea of learning how to play the koto. At least it would give Misaki an instrument to play in music class. The music class was overrun by singers and Misaki didn't like to be a part of the mold all the time.
Suddenly another girl approached them who seemed to know Suzume. Misaki felt an aura from the girl that she didn't like. As a priestess, she normally would try to exorcise whoever this was, but she was in Rosentale Academy and that wasn't a good idea here. Misaki should probably pretend to be nice.
"My name is Misaki." Misaki said in a rather stiff tone of voice since she was unused to 'pretending' to be nice. ______________________________

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ "I don't get what people get so worked up. What a shame! Suzume wanted to learn how to shoot arrows now! Well, it's fine. Suzume can wait. Besides, it might actually be better to wait since she kind of didn't want to be stuck with aching arms for her next class.
She perked up when she saw Giselle from astronomy class. "Hi there, Giselle! What are you doing at the training grounds? Are you here to train? You sure don't seem like a fighter to me. But you know, I'm not a fighter myself." Suzume remarked with a smile. Being the oblivious person that she was, she didn't notice Misaki's change in nature. "And Mi-chan here is from my country and she's a priestess. She was just showing me how archery is done! Say, what country are you from, Giselle?" If it's not any fun, then why bother?" '

Misaki Shinonome ______________________________ "Ah, Suzu. Maybe you could teach me how to play the koto. There should be one in the music room since the school is fairly well equipped. I promise to teach you archery over the weekend, but right now is study hall and we might end up being late for class. Besides, I want to hear how you play the koto." Misaki suggested as she started to gather the supplies.
"Let's clean up and head for the music classroom, okay?"
Besides, it was winter and it was just getting colder and colder. In fact, it was actually starting to snow out here and Misaki didn't want to risk catching a cold. ______________________________

"Life is a game that is played with a smile. If you can't smile, grin... Giselle brought her hand back pouting her soft pink lips. Talk about rude. At least the girl was trying so she didn't let it bother her too much. " I wanted to practice my fencing. I was wondering if anyone was around to spar with. But I guess there isn't. I'll have to practice on my own it seems." she explained. When Suzume explained they were from the same country she nodded her head. " I figured as much, your appearance are similar." she said. When she asked where she was from Giselle stood straight proudly sharing her heritage and culture. Well really just the name of her birthplace. " I'm a Banshee, so I'm from Ireland. Didn't you notice my light accent?" she asked smirking just to tease Suzume. ...if you can't grin, keep out of the way until you can.

Misaki Shinonome ______________________________ A banshee? Wasn't that a type of spirit? They didn't live in Misaki's country, but pretty much every kind of spirit was something that needed to be exorcised in Misaki's mind. She pressed her lips together. Sometimes Misaki really hated being in this school.
Misaki turned her eyes to Suzume and smiled. Well at least Suzume was happy. "Well, I don't see why not? I'm getting pretty cold so we can't stay very long out here anyways." Misaki said. "I'll be a moment. I still need to put away the supplies. Go ahead and have her start without me."
Misaki was still holding them at the moment. She left to drop off the supplies at the storage. ______________________________

"Life is a game that is played with a smile. If you can't smile, grin... Giselle grinned as Suzume got excited. And she should be! Ireland was the greatest place on earth. At least in her mind. " Oh well if you two are cold you can go inside. This cold doesn't bother me. In Ireland there's a chill that would turn you two in popsicles if your not used to it." she said with a grin. " It rains a lot too, something I miss about my home." she sighed with a smile. She pulled on her helmet and swung the fencing blade to the side before bringing it back in front of her straight up. Taking her stance she turned to Suzume. " I suppose I'll show you a little." she said before swinging her sword around parrying and countering an imaginary opponent. ...if you can't grin, keep out of the way until you can.
