Yume smiled brightly. She was so happy he had promised and to add to it, he had smiled and laughed. A moment after her feet touched the ground again, she smiled still staying close. "You better not lose that smile." She laughed saying towards him but meant it truly.

Yume then turned and watched Thistle jump into one of the chairs. Quickly, she let go of William and sat down. Less than a second later, she blinked and stood back and, moving to take William's hand and bring him next to her and Thistle. "Guess you get a seeing-eye cat now." She laughed sitting down again next to Thistle. She then looked over towards the dog and nodded. "I know you and I will do our best to help him." She said reaching out to pet her.

A short moment passed before she looked up at William again and smirked. "William, is there anything you would like to do right now?" She didn't want to say the rest of what she was thinking. It would have been rude if she would have said...before you can't see it anymore but she knew better than that. She just wanted to have fun now.

Yume smiled and nodded. "You know you are going to have to teach me. I don't just know how to play." She smiled brightly, her cat-eyes widening around her. It was then for the first time, she felt the water soaking her feet. A chill ran up her back slowly.

"Come on then." She smiled trying just to make it out of the room. Feeling his grip around her wrist tighten, she looked towards his face and blue eyes. Her hand tighten as well. She got the hint to help him out and would do so as best she could. "Trust me?" She smiled as she started to walk.

Looking over towards the door at Thistle, she laughed. Yume stood next to her and petted her back before pushing the door open for the three of them to exit. "I guess you will need my help. At least when Thistle is unable to do so." She giggled tightening her grip around his hand. "Now, where is it?"

Yume lookied around the room as William removed the cover over the table. For a moment, she just stared at a small pillow in a chair before coming to at the feeling of fabric near her hand. She turned and took it from William and layed it down. "Now what do we do?"

She looked around and saw a small ball and padles. Smiling, she pulled them out and looked them over. "Hm?" She turned them over in her hand and threw the small ball up in the air. "Care to explain?"

'well...this is how Dad taught me anyway, you throw that ball and hit it back with the bat' William came out with, keeping his smile, until he pressed his palm down onto the table. Swishing accross the fabric until he found the bat, motioning an unsterdy but gentle way to pass the ball back accross the table, he dragged his arm once more back towards his side. Hoping that little explaniation had helped if nothing else, looking off from the small scene for a few seconds, until he saw a man out of the corner of his eyes.

William froze. His whole body suddenly starting to quiver, until he dived behind Yume, clinging tightly to her t-shirt. The whole act being pretty clumsy as when he moved, he had ended up knocking a chair right over, the usual passage not being clearly seen in his sight. The young angel kept quivering, closing his eyes tightly, using Yume as he usually would his father at this point. Tilting his head down, his halo tilted down at the same point, his long blue hair running right over his eyes. Flopping over his shoulder as William did his best to advoid eye contact.

Thistle's ears suddenly perked up, seeing her master dive behind Yume, standing up ontop of the large couch. Her tail twitched lightly, almost in a wagg as the dog saw the man in the hallway, jumping down off her couch until she ran up towards him. Happily circleing the man, barking a few happy yaps, until she jumped up pressing her paw's towards his chest. Her tail wagging madly as her tongue lapped over his chin a few times.

'Thistle..' William whispered, hearing the dog bark, refusing to change his position from the one at the moment. He hadn't done this for a long time; saying that he hadn't met anyone new for a long time either whichwas most likely the reason why. This new man scared him though, like almost anyone could, his grasp gripping onto his best friend's shirt like it normally would to his father's jumper. His teeth biting down hard onto his bottom lip.

'd..dad?....he..' William whispered, seemingly froze to the spot, still quivering all over. His eyes having half opened now as he gaze blanky towards the dog by his feet, clicking in the back of his throat, for the dog to come back over towards his side once more. He seemed so desperte for the dog, his wings keeping up those same quivering, his gaze still watching the dog. His tooth biting down so hard onto his lip it almost, almost, drew blood from his bottom lip.

Thistle pawed over towards him, head down, entering his arms until she nuzzled gently back towards his chest. Knowing full well she was his life support, she licked his chin, rubbing her sides up against his chest. Her head nuzzleing back towards his neck and chin, tail hanging between her legs, almost ashamed for leaving her guardian for so long.

'Dad's upstairs...room 44, fifth floor' William finally came out with, his arms wrapping gently around the dog in his arms, holding her close. Almost a chuckle being emmited from his throat as the dog brushed up against him, keeping as close as he possibly could towards the furry creature, closing his eyes tightly once more as he lightly clung towards her. His wings quivering once more softly, his grasp keeping that onto the dog, half kneeling by Yume's feet.

Nervous? Well he still was, that was obvious, the way he still trembled beneath his socks. Somehow the dog had given him a renewed sense of security that he wasn't about to let go, keeping his clutches on the dog, his eyes staying closed for once. He hadn't met eye contact with the stranger, refusing to, not for being spoilt but as not to cause trouble.

William breathes a sigh of relief as the man walks off once more, keeping his tight cling on the dog, his hair flopping down onto the young dogs back. He finally gave a weak smile, his wings stopping quivering, so much more relaxed now the stranger was gone once more. Keeping his tight cling on the dog though, his eyes opening fully, before turning a little feeling around for the fallen chair to set it up straight once more.

At the knock at the door, Owyln opened it, blinking a little rapidly as he looked up to meet his best friends gaze. Chuckleing a little, the anthro threw his towel back over his shoulder, smiling up towards Owyn. Well this certainly was a nice suprise, he thought to himself, expecting William to clamber up from the lift any minute along with Thistle. The pair of them terrified by the new stranger. Waiting for a few seconds, he finally opened his mouth to speak, his gaze seeing right from the composed Owyn. He was afraid of heights that his best friend knew.

'well...this certainly is a nice suprise, come on in, don't mind the mess' Owyln noted, saying that, there wasn't much mess. Just a quilt cover sprawled out over the nearest seatee, the radio on playing the usual nature program, everything else in the room seeming to sparkle. As if they had all just been cleaned, the smell of freashly baked cakes coming from the kitchen, the anthro moving to one side so his best friend could enter.

As soon as he entered two beedy eyes blinked up from the sofa, the small fox suddenly standing up arching her back, hissing a little towards the new man. Vixy obviously wasn't used to strangers, her large blueish eyes glaring into that of the mans, her fur and tail standing up on end as he blinked towards him.

'you don't think ive tried? Owyn hes terrified of other people, has been since i got him, the only person he gets on with are the animals' Owyln noted, coming over to usher the fox away from the sofa, nodding towards his best friend almost as a request for him to sit down. The anthro stood there for a few minutes, crossing his arms over his chest, his gaze going back to the window at the end of the room beside the kitchen door. Padding over to it, still in his slippers, he brought his palm up to swish the blind over the window.

'that any better? and your lucky, i just put a cup of coffee on' he questioned towards his best friend, turning on the nearest lamp, darting into the kitchen to come back with two large mugs of coffee. Putting one on the table nearest the sofa, before sitting on the opposite chair himself, leaning heavily back into the comfortable lounging chair. His best friend had a point, William needed to meet new people, and he needed to get his head out of the clouds a lot of the time but this was how Owyln liked it; and he was sure this would be how he would stay.

The fox suddenly jumped up onto Owyln's lap, curling up ontop of his trousers, her tail curling tightly around her small body. Her head rested down onto her body, stopping the sudden hissing, but her tail twitched all the same. Alert incase this new man made one move towards her master's father.

Owyln smiled to himself, stroking the young fox's ears, before looking up towards the ceiling for a few minutes. What exactly was William going to do when he found his way to school? Snapping off the thought he suddenly looked with a curious blink towards his best friend, why exactly was he here, why exactly was the man he hadn't seen in a while suddenly turn up on his doorstep. He didn't dare to ask, but the question was evident in his gaze, sipping idly from his mug of steaming hot coffee.

Owyln coughs slightly, pausing for a few moments, the mug in mid air towards his mouth as he blinked over towards his best friend. Shaking his head lightly, he leant down to put his mug onto the floor, resting his arms over the small fox so she wouldn't fall as he put his mug back down. His fingertips ran over Vixy's fur, leaning back into his chair once more, before his blue orbs met with that of his best friend once more today.

'if i remember rightly...you were the one scared of the toilets in school' Owyln noted, nodding a little at this, this had always been the way between the pair of them. They had always joked around like this, sometimes he wondered how this friendship lasted, the pair of them were completly different. Went different ways. Owyln went to university to do a degree in business, Owyn went a seperte way and got married, while Owyln had only just got engaged himself. The difference between the pair of them was evident but maybe, just maybe, this was how the friendship survived.

'but back to the subject, mind if i look at the papers for the child?' He questioned, suddenly seeming curious, resting slightly forwards as his elbows covered by jumper leant down onto his legs. Waiting for his friend to produce the usual papers everyone got, a picture of the child and a brief description, the same note headed paper in a few different colours depending what type each child was. Saying that, he hadn't seen many, just a few when he had gone to pick up William.

Vixy raised her head, blinking over towards the man, clearly not impressed for a few moments until she fully curled up once more. Her tail ceased its twitching though, appearing to have taken his look as to show he was harmless, her eyes closing once more.
