I think the closest thing the Republic really had to a victory was the Battle of Bothawui. And that ended in all of their men dying.

Well, losing is only on the grand stage. That doesn't mean you can't sabotage evil nefarious plans or play the endurance routine for the rebels. In a way, the game simply plays in reverse from normal: the sith get the easy route of fighting their way through the galaxy (instead of the rebels) and the republic gets the hard bitter defeat of ideas thwarted and uprisings quelled.

Well they had to be slowing the sith somewhat... otherwise there wouldn't have been the whole deception and treaty of coruscant... if you're winning everything you just keep steamrolling.

The main problem was that, even with their massive armies, the Sith were at an impasse by year 30. Things were bogging down, and they were going to lose a lot to make any more progress. So they decided to sack the capital and snatch up favorable concessions, turning a Stalemate into a victory

You expand too far, too fast, and then you find yourself with over extended supply lines, territories not fully conquered, and a buerecratic mess of trying to incorporate all the new lands into your nation. So even if they are winning everything, their invasion would slow down regardless. Its inevitable. You cant just keep the tide going. You're eventually gonna run out of water.

Flechette rounds. Of course. Darth Cinn's only weakness is shrapnel.

Pfft. Oh yes. Then you'd be able to do slightly more than nothing. Way to aim high, Stellar.

There's a lot of chaos going on now on Ruuria. It's weird how much can happen in a single day when Jedi and Sith are involved.

More surprising by the fact perhaps that Jian's consistent evasions despite being outgunned, outmanned, and outclassed show just how far a clever person can go with just using one's environment.
I wonder how tall the main force users are?

Ilia is probably a bit shorter than Sythica. I told Nelo about 5'6". Might be taller. I dunno. I wanted her to be strong enough to hold her own in combat, since she's supposed to be a frontline commander and all. Kinda like the Sith Warrior character in TOR
