"You look epileptic!" Junko laughed, finding it hard to breathe. He looked so silly! A-and the spotlight! AHAHA! Oh, but he was having fun. She liked seeing those she cared about having fun. And if Nuk was out there dancing like a fool it wouldn't be so bad if she joined him. She'd just hate to be doing it by herself. And even Vaith was joining in! Sort of. And so, Junko decided to give it her best shot. She sidled up beside Nuk, steering clear of his flailing arms, and danced like no one was watching.

"Shouldn't be too hard I imagine.." Bul replied when she had returned to her less promiscuous self. He very well knew not to try making a fool of Riley here but anyone losing their cool points was hard not to laugh at. Noting not to he helped the mindflayer out into the abyss of flashing lights and let her keep a hold however she needed.
Even with Vaith and Nuk dancing eccentrically Bul found it easy to stay calm to the flow of the song. At his height he could make good judgments of where they were stepping and kept Riley from losing any contact and getting dizzy from the flashing. Because the song was a lot less wild (than in Nuk's head) he wasn't glowing too crazy.
"I know the game is long gone and over with but you understand that you should be able to rely on me for anything right? I don't like being something to worry about," he said narrowing his eyes. "Now... uh.. maybe Cricket's class isn't a good example of me being thoughtful.. at.. all but.." he bit his lip an turned them. "I plan to achieve my goals here at school by any and all means even if for some students its suicide."

Completely oblivious to everyone else, Nuk danced like it was 1999, quite obviously caring very little what the others seemed to think of his dancing. In fact, it was only until Vaith spun onto the dance floor that the skinwalker paid any attention to pretty much anyone else, turning his head to watch him and making sure he kept on dancing. When he realized what the reaper was doing, his expression instantly turned to one of pure glee, a broad, toothy grin spreading across his face. Within an instant, he had leapt from where he had been standing to land with his feet slightly apart right in front of Vaith, proceeding to dance basically chest-to-chest with him, even more proud of himself now that he got the other to dance.
This feeling was amplified x A BILLION when Junko, too, decided to come up and dance beside them. Immediately, he shifted a little so it was now an EPIC DANCE TRIANGLE, the boil looking so pleased with himself. He didn't hear Emily's claps, but that was ok -- HE HEARD THEM WITH HIS HEART.

Because it simply made sense, Riley's eyes closed as soon as they had made it safely to the dance floor. She settled both of her hands on his shoulders, and listened intently while he swayed her on the floor. Focusing on the one sense helped her hear even more in his voice than usual, and she interpreted it during a moment's pause after he had finished speaking.
When the pause was over, her closed eyes tilted in lieu of a smile. I understand. You are telling me that you would like to be reassured of my trust in your capabilities? I can give you my answer, but first I must ask - why does it matter? Is there any particular reason why my words have affected you so?
Her voice sounded like simple curiosity, but it wasn't hard to understand that she knew the answer. She just wanted to hear it.

There was...some kind of weird thing going on was sausages to her side, but Xiu was a little preoccupied at the moment. She was distracted by the face Vaith suddenly spun onto the dance floor and...
Oh Jack, was he okay? Why was he flailing like someone who was being electrocuted? It wasn't until her gaze slid to Nuk that it suddenly dawned on her what her friend was doing. He was dancing. That being said, the dance he had chosen to mimic was rather...unique in the first place, so seeing her friend taking part was rather surprising.
And hilarious.
Xiu began by giggling, but this soon escalated into full out laughter. She immediately took hold of her camera to take a few pictures, but she found that her hands were quivering too violently as she tried to suppress her laughter. Giving up, she let her camera drop and dangle from around her neck, grinning from ear to ear when she saw Junko joining the two boils.
"WOOOO! Go Vaith! Go Junko! Go Nuk!" She called out, which was uncharacteristically loud for the little Baku. She was enjoying this way too much, as proven by the tears of laughter that she had to swipe away.
When Nuk moved so that the three of them were arranged in a triangle formation, Xiu immediately raised her camera and tried to take another picture. This time she managed to grab a couple before she went back to cheering for them. She would have clapped along the beat of their dance, but it seemed like they didn't have one. Not that it mattered: they were having fun, and honestly, she was having a blast just watching them go at it.

Vaith was having a sudden life-changing moment of his life. In that one instant, Vaith was having an exclusive bromance with the skinwalker. Perhaps, one of the two boils' hands had lifted and hit the other (several times) but that didn't deter them from their dance, their bodies moving un-rhythmically with the music.
Something inside Vaith, Nuk and Juno had flared up into something unresistingly AWESOME. It swept up all eyes that focused on their dance-- whether it swept them up into becoming a fellow dancer or into a person who wanted to die from laughter, happiness or shame--- Well, it did something to the watchers of the dance.
Vaith and Junko being a prime example of that. But was Vaith going to go through this alone?
.. No.
In an instant, the reaper's long arm had reached out to draw the baku, Xiu into the triangle, making it into a square. His eyes met with Nuk's in a silent (or not so silent) conversation: The more, the merrier, right? If the bau tried to leave, she would find herself dragged back multiple times. Might as well put those dance classes to use, right?

"For a number of reasons, yes, though primarily because of the fact that-" Bul appeared to be wanting to speak lower but realized that he was already thinking the rest of his sentence in his head for her.
You're someone really worth looking up to. Maybe not for every situation but as fresh meats we all have to kinda look out for each other. Essentially Bul considered her a comrade. Not exactly a 'hey sup' friend, but a comrade amongst peers.
He didn't want to sound froofy before Riley since he was too proud to admit himself under her but she had the upper hand being practically an idol. If anyone was a star student at Amityville, Bul would assume it was her.
For a while he kept the dance calm and poised like the beat was meant to be... but eventually things got too unbearable to just slowly chat away to and the half beast waited until there was a calm enough moment to suddenly jump back, and throw his hands up-

And do the fork in the garbage disposal.
But of course he kept his tail out in Riley's reach. Just in case it was too sudden for the blinded mindflayer.

Bul's words made her expression lift in avid satisfaction. She reached up and patted his cheek softly. I will do my best to continue to be worth your consideration, and you will do your best to continue to be worth my trust. I am confident of this. Therefore, I can easily assure you that you now have nothing to worry about. I hope this puts you at ease.
..Which apparently it did, because she could feel him pulling away and thumping the floor with rapid movements. She couldn't see him, but she could feel the rhythm under her feet - and it wasn't just him, either, was it?
Everyone was thumping around her, which made her sudden, un-held form freeze up.
Her eyes squeezed open just a slit, trying very hard to see exactly what Bul was doing - there was some flailing involved.. her arms lifted slightly to emulate, but it ended up looking more like the smooth movements of a belly dancer than the excited dance that Bul was performing. She was pretty sure if she continued along this way, she would collide with someone's frilly dress and tangle up in a mess of chiffon and lace.

.. Was this not a slow song? Why was everyone on the dance floor jumping like jackrabbits to it? Had she missed the memo?

Xiu immediately stopped laughing the moment she felt Vaith pull her towards the dance floor. Despite her protests and her attempts to escape, she found that she kept getting dragged back. Eventually, she just stood there blankly, looking panicked and confused.
There was one glaring problem: she didn't know how to dance. She took lessons, yes, but that was really for ballroom dancing, not for...whatever this was. Then again, a glance at the others told her that she didn't have to know how to dance, if their flailing was any sign. So long as they had fun--that was all that mattered, right? The ghoul began to smile again, and then she laughed, joining in by acting out whatever moves came to mind first.
Um, wow.
Looking back on this later, she would hope that she was the only one who thought to bring a camera to prom. But until then? She was laughing, having a blast, and being careful not to smack anyone in the face.

Chuckling followed suit after Bul realized that Riley was trying to move with the sudden spastic energy with the other dancers but knew very well that this situation could get out of hand fast and stopped soon after.
"Fft okay enough of that," he said mostly to himself before reaching for the ghoul's shoulder. "We should probably get out of the way before everyone else starts losing their nuts on the dancefloor-" he said while doing what he could to lead her away from the impending, jumping stampede that await them. "I outta get back to the table and Mei so..."
I appreciate you taking the time to listen to me. Another page tag, <3

Yes, it was a slow song but...but it was so infectious! The dancing! And here Junko had been too self-conscious to really go out of her way to dance earlier. How foolish of her! Why, she whipped out her best moves for this! Yes, those were her best moves aside from the caramelldansen.

Cady was mesmerized. THIS was slow dancing? Wow. She was suddenly very glad she was stuck behind the DJ booth, and that Deacon was nowhere to be seen.
She turned the rest of the spotlights on the dancers. That was how you were supposed to do slow dances, right?

Cady supposed that all the silly dancing was a sign that there needed to be a change of song. She browsed through their selection, looking for something a little more upbeat. "That was beautiful, er, slow dancing. The next song up is a little more, ah. Edible. Now playing Just Eat It by some weird boil named Al, and it is dedicated to a special ghoul out there who knows all about, um. Eating. But probably goes through a lot of chapstick, I'd imagine. Plus her name is Claire, did I mention that?" She wondered if Ash got to see all the great dancing.

Riley appreciated the sudden feel of someone again, and quickly moved to grab Bul's arm as he led her off of the dance floor. She moved to take a seat (a real one, this time), and patted his hand softly before letting it go.
Anytime, Bul. She murmured quietly, in earnest. Anytime.
Now, where were those sausages..

How appropriate. On so many levels.. was Claire even here yet?
