The maid looked at him. "Since both of us are still in training, we have no assigned post's. Its for Master Crest to decide." She handed him a bottle of chamomile oil to put in his bath. The herbs would relax him considerably. She went to go sit on the couch, upset that the Angel was doing her work. She was in training and it felt like her job was being taken away.

Seeing the look of annoyance he backed up a little, stepping out of the bathroom.
"A-ah, sorry, do you want me to.. I'm not used to ..w-well y'know.."
He looked down, unsure of what to say, she seemed upset with him.

She looked up. "Well, I could pamper you like I do to Master Crest. Ofcourse, it rarely happens." She stood and entered the bathroom. Starting the water and making it a little warmer than luke warm. She gengerly took the bath oil and poured it in. "If you'll give me the honor of doing so."

He blushed at the whole idea, really unsure, but nodding, he headed into the bathroom, rubbing his neck nervously.
"Will you get in trouble.. I-I mean..I'm.. lower than .. than a servant, I don't want you getting in trouble.."
He mumbled the last part, his unimportance here sinking in even more, as he had a flashback of the night that Crest had completely ignored him, and shivered. As a duodecim, he found loneliness uncomprehending.

"No. I won't. I am learning after all." She smiled and turned her back so Leonis could slip into the tub and relax.

Disrobing he slipped into the water, running a hand over his smooth skin, to wetten his shoulders which were out of it as he sat, he also ran ahand through his soft locks, cupping the bath water to carry it with him, his wings staying folded close to his back to keep out the way.
"If you're sure then..."
He added, before letting out a soft sigh, the bath oils smelled so good, he was instantly relaxed.

The maid turned when he heard that the Duodecim was relaxed and sat on a stool at the back of the tub, rolling up her sleeves and warming her hands in the water before touching the back. She poured the chamomile oil onto them first. She worried that the wings would stick together with the oil in the water.
"The Master, well, he may treat you lower than us but the way I see it, he kind of see's you higher than us." She spoke softly. "He found me working in a bar dressed in the worst way and treated me as an equal. He invited me to work at his Manor and gave me half of a months pay on the spot, saying that if didn't want to come with him, I can take that money and if I decided to come, he'll give the other half."
Her hand's glided smoothly along the thin neck and around the collar.
"Most of the maids here come from the same background. So its easy to relate to the other. I have only been here 3 years and I have two more in training before I become full fledge. Master Crest is generous and he looks out for us even though we don't see it. Offering bonus pay's and incentives. He is that kind of person that we admire." She closed her eyes. "The Master may be angry looking all the time but when he smiles, though it may be rare, he is kind hearted deep inside."
Her hands worked around the joint's of the wings.

Leonis shivered pleasantly at the gentle touches, his body relaxing further, as he leant into the touch that softly ran over the skin between his wings on his back.
"Really?, You think so? .. I think.. I mean I don't like him looking lonely.."
He remembered the mocking tone that the master had used when he'd suggested such a thing to his face. Sure he had slaves and servants, but the man lacked a companion; he was jolted from the thoughts when the hands brushed his neck near the collar, and a sudden flash back of when Crest had been behind him and yanked hard on the collar, came into his mind, causing him to flinch away forward, half turning round, eyes wide with terror, "D-don't!"
Hands wrapping round his own neck to shield it. Despite it only being a fledgling young maid, the memory of it had scared him again.

The maid pulled her hands away when he came forward, purely shocked at his reaction. 'M-master Crest....what did you do to this poor thing?' A thought ran through. Seeing as he needed time to cool off, she left the room to radio Crest.

+I know that you said not to call unless its an emergency but.....Its Leonis, Master Crest, it seems that he has PTSD. I was giving him a massage while he soaked in the tub and when I touched his neck near the collar, he...well.....panicked.+
Crest closed his eyes, though he could remember the times he raged, it was when he snapped into a different personality that he couldn't and the night he whipped Leonis was evident. {Don't bother touching his neck if that is all it takes to keep him from panicking.}
+Yes Sir. 410.+ She waited by the door till Leonis said it was okay.

The angel tried to calm himself, as he was easily hyperventilating, his breath shaky as it came. He clung to the side of the tub with a harsh sob, before he started to calm down again.
The Duodecim's breathing steadied a little, and his shaky breathing began to pan out again as he let go of the side of the tub.
Only just noticing that the maid had left, he turned around in the large bath tub, looking round the room, before seeing her by the door, and blushing.
"I'm sorry.. I d-didn't mean to.. to just.."
He wrapped his arms round his waist, with a shudder, trying to push the memory away.

She took small steps, inching near the tub so he wouldn't be alarmed of her approach. Shaking her head. "We maids also have horrible memories. We choose to focus on our task at hand so they don't hunt us. We try to dream about cleaning, its a habit to hold a cleaning rage or scrub brush while we sleep so we can escape those nightmares."
She retook her place on the stool.

He nodded turning away from her in the tub, and sinking in lower, feeling ashamed at having acted so scared in front of an innocent servant.
"I didn't mean to..I just.. He..N-nevermind.."
She knew that the man cared, and cared for many, including, to a certain extent, the angel, but Leonis was just a little unsure.. He'd seen many sides to Crest, most he was afraid of, and as kind as he'd been on the off, the angel always felt the same tug at his heart when the man acted as if he didn't exist.
He sighed trying to push the thought away.

The maid kept her hands on the back, avoiding the neck. Then she washed his hair. "Don't worry about it, just relax." She smiled and poured a little more of the oil into the bath.

Closing his eyes and relaxing he let her do her work, with a soft sigh.
Maybe he was over thinking his master too much then it occurred to him... When had he started trying to please Crest? Leonis was generally polite and wanting to help, but this was more than that, he actually wanted to please the man... He remembered when he'd cleaned and refreshed that entire room..
"Why was it locked...?"
He mumbled more to himself, but out loud.

She kept silent, that room was never to be touched or talked about, just locked up but the older ones did tell her why when they thought she was ready to hear it. It was absolutely forbidden.
