Wantcookie SoThatAznGirl Wantcookie Allegro Also, Cookie, Mafia could have been blocked. I targeted you last night. What? You said you were Jim Hawkins, right? You protected me, then? Protected or blocked. Which means you could be the mafia boss. o.OThat's not how that works, is it? Can the mafia kill be roleblocked if you're the mafia boss? That's how I would have ran my game a long time ago if the sitch had occurred. I mean, if the mafia kill power is going to be condensed to one person, that power should get the side effects, too. But now this ground is opinion based, and we'll need a mod ruling for this.
: ) Thanks for correcting that, Allegro.

Kuzodav Wait. I retracted my Haru vote before the day ended. He should be alive. No, at the point that the votes are tied, I think the death is random between the electees.

If the Mob Boss is blocked, the Mafia kill doesn't go through. If other mafia members are blocked, it still goes through.
@Kuzo, it was a tie. I rolled a die, and "Kill Haru" won over "Let Haru Live"

Allegro Wantcookie Does the lynch take priority over the no lynch? This IS how it should work. No, I don't know about that. People voted, just as many players legit wanted no lynch as opposed to one.

In fact, by that train of thought, other games where one player has enough votes over other suspects to be lynched but not enough to reach majority of total players (where the default then is no lynch) ought to heed the people wanting the popular lynch, anyway.

It's the same reason the mafia wins once there's an equal number of town and mafia. let's say, you've got 7 players left. One abstains. Three mafia vote night, three townies vote for a mafia.
The ENTIRE GAME would hinge on the dice roll, and it's not fair for the town for the mafia to get a free shot by going to night.
Lynch takes priority.

Allegro Last Night's Votes: Glaru - 4 (Petrey, VDV, Dess, Swyff) Petrey - 1 (Allegro) No Lynch - 4 (Zahmen, Cabron, Rhed, Kuzo) CIs bolded. Hey STAG, why didn't you vote?
Cookie too. You were both here the whole time and neither of you were certain of the lynch.
I'd like to hear from both of you - your suspicions and your reasons for not acting.

That would be a dumb strategy because why abstain and go to night when you could just tie the vote and take out a townie. That is like the stupidest strategy I've ever heard. And I do think that is fair, if one person wants to ruin the game by not voting then sucks for everyone else. It's not fair for the town to get an auto-kill when they didn't get more votes. Just because the town is "good guys" doesn't mean they deserve a game played in their favor.

The game should always be slightly slanted towards the town, because the mafia has the advantage of better communication (and in normal games they get to be the ONLY faction who can communicate), and the fact that, y'know, they can murder everyone. Roles and rules should favor the town to a degree.

I didn't vote because I didn't think Glaru was mafia, and I have stated that I do not believe in two day no lynches. Clearly I must rethink this policy.
Still working out my suspicions, though.... but I do think Allegro and Amber are town.
Allegro - Well, I mean, if lynch takes priority, in your game, didn't it work where if not enough of us settled on one lynch, no one was lynched, and therefore a "free shot" was given to mafia?
