Reglare: Yeah, it's about 640 across, so you'd have to crop it a little.
Quint: The FFT Zodiac thing seems like it's based in real-world Astrology. I wish I could remember all the details, but each of the twelve signs has two different traits attached to it. One trait has four choices (earth, fire, wind, water?) and the other has three, and the possible combinations dictate how the signs interact with one another.
Rant: Figures, the day I finally bring my Extreme thread to the z!F is the day the staff is away at a convention. Let's keep it alive until they get back to the office? /rant

Anyway, here's something serious(idea):
What would you guys think if Buccaneer Boardwalk becomes pay to play?
Nope, not the real life cash one, but gold one.
Like if entering the boardwalk itself you'd need to buy a ticket(bought with gold after BB is open to the public), and in order to avoid having users camp out in BB when users are logged out of the game for a certain amount of time, they'd be transferred outside of BB(even if the entrance fee is just around 500 gg).
Also, when users play mini-games, ride the ferris wheel, get on the ships, enter buildings, etc. the game would ask for gold as well, but of course this can be a fair(to unfair) exchange if you can win recipes, items, and gold from the mini-games depending on their skills.
I just thought of it randomly, since Gaia's concerned on how much gold zOMG can give out (make BB at least a bit of a gold sink), and maybe to make it a bit realistic.
Opinions?

So the idea is turning BB into an actual theme park? You know, as long as the BB ticket in Back-alley Bargains lets you stay in indefinitely (because the ones who bought it would totally deserve it), I'd be okay with that. However, there would have to be a way to refresh your time while inside. No freaking way would I want to be forced out of BB in the middle of something like a Kraken attack just because of some annoying timer. Even just going out and back in would probably de-layer you. Thard_Verad Rant: Figures, the day I finally bring my Extreme thread to the z!F is the day the staff is away at a convention. I could even do more, given anyone asked for something announced So I think they definitely saw that thread already. If they didn't, you have long to bother them about it. Like from next monday to friday. And the ones after that. And then some more.

Well, that's always possible. o3o Lets see how supposedly useless buying the GC ticket is then like what people are saying, if that'd be the case. pirate That's what I meant though by certain amount of time, it won't kick you out from BB when you'd be disconnected. It'd need to be 10 - 15 minutes before it'd kick you out(maybe enough time for the other players to destroy the Kraken already), but of course, I don't know if that'd work. Not sure if some other kind of mechanic works though, I'm not even sure if mine works, but suggestions are welcome(plans on getting this on z!F).

Yes, anyone is welcome. *accepts raficat* Hell, I could have Hitler wishing to join, I'd accept him. Mass Genocide doesn't mean you can't have good idea regarding Action RPG MMOs. Also, it'd be fun to try and ask him to play Commandos 2 multiplayer with me. Also, we're too small to actually ban anyone. And too realistic to demand activity, that's just either stupid or sad. The guild is pretty much "Join in, 'if you want' ".

Bah, RafiCat; I didn't realise she'd applied. I tried sending her an invite, but she had the accursed things set to auto-decline. stressed
But, yes; one of the Guild's basic tenets is that the right to contribute is predicated solely upon the desire to do so; anyone who wants to join in the discussion is always welcomed to. It hasn't caused us any problems, yet, and until it does I see no reason to change it... 3nodding

Reglare Excile Since I'm rather tired right now, I'd skip reading the posts. @_@ Anyway, since I fail at image sizes, is this image too big for a sig? Just wanted to know before putting it on my sig again(nope, didn't get any warning, just felt like it was too big) if it's too big, just resample it to a smaller size?

Alright, time for a little irrelevance. whee
Do any of you remember my mentioning that I suspect that Johnny K. Gambino is actually some sort of deific entity - the thing that was keeping "Him" away, and his absence being the reason that "He is coming" now?
I was reading back over old manga, just now, when a line caught my eye. Manga #0 contains an interview with Johnny K., in which the interviewer's first question contains the line, "it almost seems like you were dropped into the world as a fully formed billionaire."
Gambino dodged the question.
Now, that doesn't really mean anything; except that, if that is what they're planning, they've been planning it for a looong time... sweatdrop
