Shehk soon came to the conclusion that she was not a natural at designing clothing. She frowned, crossing her arms and squinting at what she'd ended up creating. Somehow she'd been trying to like..make a 'child' of hers and Aymet's apparent clothing decisions (She and Aymet did not need children..though the meatdress made her want to eat it a little bit), folding her arms and squinting at it.
It needed something.
It needed something and she needed pants to go on over this stupid outfit she'd been tossed into. It was so...cold. She was cold as-was. She needed body heat. Where was Nuk when she needed to throw herself onto somebody? Not there, was obvious enough.
However, the outfit was easily fixed with a tophat.
Everything looked better with tophats, right? It would still go on over that skull of his too!
Maybe.

Oooh! They got to dress up classmates? Junko clapped excitedly and checked who she was dressing, humming a bit. Livius? Oh! The avarice demon with very nice taste. Alright! Oooh, now she was excited to see what he'd do for her! But first, she needed clothes for him. She knew just what to get! Now to just hope that the closet had what she needed; this would be so much better if they were given time to actually construct some kind of ensemble.
Junko would love to create something from scratch.
She waited for the closet to be free before finally coming up after Shehk, having missed whatever happened to her or any other student in her excitement to dress this maneatkin...

Ugh! This selection was horrible! Junko really wished they could go back to their dorms for clothing. She really, really wished that. Oh well! She'd just have to make do with what she had. Hmm...he liked green... Maybe this would do? The maneatkin didn't seem to pay the outfit any mind, merely standing still and letting Junko have her way with it.

He wasn't sure how he had done, but you couldn't go wrong with a simple dress, and he had even managed to find one that matched the colors that the Reaper girl was wearing. Of course though, he had found an adorable hat, and being a hat person himself, had thought that that would help the outfit out. He finished getting the manikin dress, and thankfully it remained still. That would do.

Julian had taken a few minutes to actually process what the professor had asked them to do. And once it finally sank in, so did dread. Sure, he was good at making clothes, but... well, he didn't really like designing them. He'd rather have someone else design them, or at least pick out a pattern or something. He had enough trouble picking out clothes for himself, now he was supposed to do it for someone else?
Great...
With a sigh, he finally came back to himself and found that he was one of the last people to get started. So he went to the wardrobe to see what he could find.

Who was -
Oh. Oh, wow. Gabrian was cute. It took Siddie a moment to work up the nerve to respond; when she did, she squeaked a little. "I - I'm sure - I'm sure it'll be fine," she stammered.
... She had to dress him now. Oh dear. Siddie approached the wardrobe with a certain amount of wariness, given that the thing had redressed others; but it seemed that she'd dressed acceptably, by the standards of furniture. The wardrobe spit out the pieces she needed without too much fuss.
"Hold still," she told the maneatkin, and dressed it carefully, with occasional, sneaking glances at Gabrian, blushing the whole time.

Well, at least the wardrobe hadn't... taken offense at his intrusion. Julian had picked out a few things that he thought would look good on Holly, in a style he sort of preferred, even if it was a little old. Well... it would probably look good... if she wasn't wearing the fox outfit.
"Or maybe it would work..." he said, giving his head a scratch.
Apparently it didn't like the shawl, because as soon as he put it on, the maneatkin threw it back into his face. Literally.

"Well, I like it," Siddie answered Gabrian, a little shyly. "I'd wear it." Not that that anything to do with their grade; and she might have said the same to any outfit Gabrian made, but she was telling the truth - she liked the outfit. "But I think the maneatkin was right about the hat," she offered, and peeked at him out of the corner of her eye. Her own maneatkin had submitted graciously, or at least quietly, to being dressed up. She'd picked an outfit that resembled what she recalled her father wearing to the wedding of one of her aunts - a formal tailcoat with bloody cravat and cummerbund. Not that she thought Gabrian particularly needed pointers on style. He was already rather handsome. Demon, she reminded herself. Also, ghoulfriend, remember?

Waiting for the professor to return had been a bit.. amusing to say the least. He was wondering what on earth his protege and her partner had made out of the plate settings but it was definitely... creative? Interesting? He wasn't quite sure what to say on that one. So he had been messing with changing colors to the tip of his hair to see what shade he'd want to be later on today when they were given their next task. Dressing someone? Now that was also up his alley! He enjoyed helping pick out outfits for other people! Now... who was his partner?
Miss Junko... what was that name familiar... oh! She was the girl at Truth or Dare. And the girl from groanspring who agreed to help teach him how to make outfits! What a pleasure indeed! So now.. ideas were already swirling through his brain as he went to the dresser and stared at it curiously. The thought of being chewed on bothered him but he needed to get inside to gain the clothing he needed for the task.
A deep breath was taken and let out slowly before he reached out to open it. It took a bit to get that nothing was happening and that breath was released as he gathered the things he wanted. He could see her in this and look lovely and comfortable at the same time yet keep some of the usual flair she was used to.

Holly sighed. This sucked. Well Julian seemed to like orange colors? Matched his wings. She grabbed some simple orange things and tossed them on the maneatkin. Luckily it seemed to like the outfit.

The maneatkin, like the wardrobe, proved cooperative, although it was a miracle after how long it took Barth to adjust every little piece.
Then there were breaks for admiring the outfit.
And some minor snacking.
And a small nap.
The process was painfully slow to watch. But the result looked comfortable, at least.

After he had assembled the outfit on the maneatkin, he studied it thoughtfully; thankful that nothing was being gnawed off or chewed. Seemed to be behaving. The look on his face was one of complete concentration and he kept looking at it with a critical eye; taking out certain colors and trying something else. If it was too plain for him, he discarded it and tried something else. He was very, very picky about things he liked to pick for people. But when he was finally done with it, he was somewhat pleased. The materials were decent, and he felt there were some things that were missing from it (though what he was unsure) but he did so hope that miss Junko would like it. She did seem to wear some short things, so this shouldn't be too bad right? And it was cute, playful and comfy. Looked good to him! Finished with his, he looked over and noticed Amrita's maneatkin outfit and went over to look it over. His chin rested gently into his curved hand as he looked it over, making soft murmurs every now and then before he grinned and pat her head as approval. "I'm impressed, protege! You did an excellent job!"

Ms. Winter's watched as the students slowly worked away at their creations. Some of them clearly proud with their work, others looking like they'd done it just for the necessity to get through the end of class. As time drew to an end, there were only a few minor incidents with the wardrobe and the maneatkins. In fact one maneatkin had seen fit to soundlessly beat it's fashion designer. After eyeing the outift herself, Ms. Winter could clearly understand why.
There were a handful of students, in the class, who were clearly gifted with fabric and design. The demoness would keep this in mind for future reference.
By this point some of the maneatkins had taken to wandering around in faux model style, posing and making like they were on catwalks. It was rather amusing to see a meat dress wandering around like it was the c**k of the walk.
"Well students," the professor stood from her chair, "there is a clearly written insight into each of you with the creations you have all made. It's wonderful to see that you can work towards a set goal and, with little given instruction, come up with, each, a unique concept and piece. I am impressed that I don't simply see a number of ballgowns and coat tails." it was true, for all that was etiquette class, not everything relied on being ready to go to a royal party at the drop of a hat.
"Although, if we ever must complete a task like this, please try to have a school appropriate amount of clothing for your maneatkin. After all, you wouldn't want Helma thinking that it was the current fashion and modeling it for you."
"Now, I want for you to each take your books home, and the outfits. Return with them both for next class. You will be joined by some other students and we will be working from the text itself then. You have all passed the first module. I look forward to phase two."
The professor then excused herself, and the class for the rest of the day. The professor disappeared from sight as the students began to pack up.
However: before anyone could leave, there was a rumbling from the wardrobe, and the maneatkins all began to shiver and shake, a strange sound emitting from their stitched mouths.
The doors of the wardrobe flew open and shadowy tendrils reached out, dragging each student into it, and spitting it out in the outfit created for them by their partner.
The exception to this was Christof and his partner. It would seem the wardrobe took pity on the poor girl, and left her in her own designed outfit she'd made for the Igor. While the igor was spit out in ....well, it wasn't pretty.
With the professor gone, and the wardrobe and maneatkins vacating the area. It looks like you students get to return to your dorms in your newest fashion designs. OOC Note If you did not get a design done, it looks like Aymet was bored and made extra meat dresses! So you've been spit out in those! Feel free to post an exit post. You are all automatically enrolled in module two and will not need to re-sign up in the next thread.

No no NO NO CANNON CAT PIMPTRESS NO. Riley froze in horror, dropping the cane almost immediately once she'd been spit out, and ripping the hat off her he-
...
Once she got an eyeful of Christof, she immediately put the hat back on her head, and pulled it down to cover her eyes. There was no bleach in the world that would burn that sight away.
Suddenly, she could hear them. She could hear them. The soft meows, coming closer. They sensed that she had become one of them. Their leader.
Riley took no time in scrambling out of that class, heading for Jericho's room - because she most CERTAINLY was NOT going to lead THEM to HERS.

Without much of a warning, Jericho found himself sucked into the wardrobe and spit back out wearing the outfit Sarias had picked out for him. Stunned by this, he stared down at himself, speechless. This was probably a good thing, else he likely would have tried to incinerate the wardrobe right then and there.
Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw Riley rushing on out of the room. He didn't really get what was going on, but he noticed she seemed to be headed towards the Monster dorms than the Demon ones.
Well... he was going there too, so he ran on out after her.
