Peyton would give Aurora permission to elaborate on just what was strange, and would be silent for a few moments once she had finished speaking. Just when the silence was seeming like it had dragged on too long, the Captain speaks up, "Liuetenant, gather as much data as you and your crew can on the creatures on the station. There was apparently time between when the outbreak occurred and when the distress signal was sent, so someone on the station had to have gathered information."
Mio would interrupt here, "Sir, I'd like to lodge an official complaint against the last maintenance crew that worked on the Walkurst. It was bad enough finding old and out-of-date couplings in the circuitry of the board, but the main defensive generator was offline, yet made to look like it was operational!"
Peyton's voice would get an edge to it, "Trenstil, that could have waited until the end of this conversation. However, I will have someone look into the maintenance logs for the Walkurst."
His tone would go back to normal as he adresses Aurora again, "Lieutenant, the planet below can and does support life, as well as the other planet in that binary. However, I have to order against making planetfall and possibly spreading whatever befell the station to the fragile ecology below. Is there anything else?"

Aurora can't help but roll her eye's at Mio's interruption and wince a little at being discouraged to go down the the planet, though she would hardly argue. She hadn't considered the possibility of spreading the infection. But that also meant that they were stuck with this little ship as their only safe haven. "Understood, Sir. No, Sir, nothing else."

"I feel like there's stuff I'm forgetting. I'm just so exausted I can't think right now " she said with a yawn. Then she groaned a bit
"Can't I sleep right here?" she asked him fuzzly as she slowly stood, her tail was drooping down behind her. Feeling safe, even a bit was enough to let her body force it's guard down. She just wanted to keel over and pass out right there on the floor. Not a wise choice, but.. one that was nice and comfie to her at the moment

"Come on, I'll find you a place to sleep, there's crew quarters. I'd rather see you sleeping on a bed than the floor. Let's go." Boda said.

"I'm authorizing you to use thise line to contact me if necessary, but at this point, I can't send any assistance," Peyton says, "Stay sharp and keep alive. Captain Peyton, out." The link cuts off.
Mio's ears had tilted down at the chastizement from Peyton, but he had some salve to that in the fact that the commanding officer seemed to take his complaint seriously.

Aurora really had nothing else to say to anyone right at the moment so she gets up and decides that maybe a little nap would be in order. 'If anyone needs me, I'll be in my quarters," she says. Her mood was taking a turn for the worse and she was starting to feel mentally exhausted. It doesn't take her long to pass out once she reaches her destination.

((im at work for several more hours so LOL))
Gin yawned tiredly. She'd rather sleep on the floor with a blanket or two. Nothing could hide under the bed that way. Nothing could sneek up on her with out her hearing it.
"I'll sleep on the floor " she said as she walked to a cornor of the galley.
"I can't sleep on a bed right now, those.. things hide under them sometimes. I'm more comfortable if I can hear the vibrations of something moving closer though the metal also. I can't do that in a bed" she said rubbing her eyes tiredly as she curled up on the floor. Ok forget the blanket.. she was happy just like that. Even if it was to bright

Boda shook his head. 'Okay, she definatley was a little more than scared about what was happening here.' Boda reached up to one of ammo pouches and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. He took one out and held it in his left hand and walked up to the table with his weapon and his helmet. He put his helmet on and slung his weapon than proceeded out of the ship the same way he came in and lit his cigarette up, smoking while drinking his coffee. It felt like he had been waiting to do that the whole time since he came out of cryo.

((I'll be up for a while, but certainly a good time for characters to try and get some sleep.))
Nodding to say he understood, Mio watches Aurora leave before turaning the ship's sensors towards all the craft on the hangar deck. Maybe they had a replacement part for the engine the right size...
...but the sensor sweep would turn up nothing usable without some serious kludge-work. Damn. Growling a little in frustration, he turns his attention to the map that was being built of the station interior. Well, what the sensor's could detect. It seemed that past a depth of 120 meters into the station's interior, they were blocked, less than that in the direction of the decks below the central hub.
