((Page 30, what what!))

When the power surges flew at them, both twins flung up and arm effortlessly and seemed to catch what would otherwise knock them off of their feet. The monk in particular of the two was seemingly tired of hearing the dark one ramble on about whatever it was he was going on about. Virgin monk? He turned his head sharply toward the speaker and barked loudly, “You, swine! You can address me as General!”

Attorra entered the hall looking as confused as any other onlooker. Excluding of course the two who wanted to calm the situation down, and the one cheerleader it seemed the monk had. Well, he didn’t seem like much of a monk right now. Generally they were humans, and generally they avoided violence. He still held the piglet in his arms, however, when a bright light flashed close by, it frightened the small creature who began to squeal and squirm as wildly as he could manage.

Almost instantly, the monk’s eyes returned to their usual brown color and he turned away from the fight with his enraged sister to rush to the piglet’s aid, “Aw Bacon what’s the matter? Did daddy scare you?” He plucked the pig from Attorra’s grasp then looked up to meet his gaze. He tried an innocent face until it registered what Attorra had just seen, “Oh boy.” He sighed, “I guess we just royally ******** that one, huh?” He turned around to face one of his sister’s fireballs of pink nearly colliding with his face, but he caught it and clasped both hands around it until it vanished, “Knock it off. You gave us away, d**k.”

“Baleilei” returned to her normal appearance, “Excuse me? I gave us away?” She turned to the King, “Who, majesty, would you say started the fight?”

“I prefer not to take sides.” Afsana took a step back, bumping into Leonardo and quickly taking a small step forward again not wanting to get to close to him again.

The twins started up again, with the "monk" shouting first, "It doesn't matter who started the argument- you- or who fired the first shot-you- or even who was willing to fight in front of the crowd -ahem, you-"

His sister looked more than offended, "Oh excuse me, mister big and bad, you were gonna let it slip any minute now with the hard on you got for the little cat girl."

"Are you really going to start this? Are you? Because we can go again, if I recall I was winning-"

"Recall again, Lei, because I was winning, as always."

"Guys!" Afsana had been trying quietly in the background to get their attention for a while before she finally screamed, "I know your fight is important, and really, more than anyone I'd like you to explain yourselves, but, can we please, for the love of both of your strange gods and even stranger ways, hear what Nexus has to say?"

The two were quiet for a moment giving a small shrug and, in unison, a "fair enough."

Just then, there was a larger surge of power and another presence in the room as Maude appeared, slightly behind Nexus only to throw up a hand and have a bright red light circle around his mouth, silencing him, "Dear, dear old friend. You don't want to spoil the surprise, do you?"

"Matilda."

Maude turned to face the speaker and scowled for a moment before she replaced it with a wicked smile, "I'm sorry, are we done with the disguises? Well, I can see in your sister's eyes that she wants to point fingers or cross swords, but I just don't have the time for that, I'm sorry Leilei, truly. Unfortunately, I'm taking the life of the party here with me, and you will have to make do with what you have. I'd stick around for the family reunion, but as you can plainly see, the monk is a liar, and I have places to be." It was with those words that she vanished, dragging Nexus down to the underworld with her, upon arrival having guards around to hold him down, just outside of the dining hall, "Now, if you'll excuse me, my dinner guest would be so disappointed if she missed tonight's entertainment."

Leonardo, unintentionally, took a small step into Afsana. It was becoming a natural habit to be close to her. He didn't realize it of course. "I am going to assume that mean we just missed our chance." Leonardo said looking on in shock Nexus was whisked away.

Skyden moved up, "Oh Uru! I looooove you!" She made a break to try an latch onto the sorcerer.

Unfortunately for Skyden her father was a bit faster. "Down you little crazy child." He said snagging the girl by the wrist and jerking her back. "I have a feeling some thing bad is going to come of all this." He said holding his child in place as she squirmed to get away.

((Mala's post would go here if Chikanno an Teinama had been used =D))
~ ~ ~ ~

Telmina slowly pulled herself off the ground. "Ouch." she whined sitting back onto her haunches. "I feel dizzy." She said softly looking up to Eversor for help.
~ ~ ~ ~

Nadia still didn't look happy. "That is why I offered to conjure up servers." She saw a small gleam in her brother's eyes. One she had never seen before. "Sure, what subject?"
~ ~ ~ ~

Kadra listened patiently. "No it's interesting. I wasn't aware that's how dragons go their different forms." She said floating next to Adurnafor "I wish I knew about my own demon half. My father wont tell me who my birth mother is, my adoptive mother doesn't know. And I am too nervous to ask Lord Paha."

Eversor saw the woman appear, but could only watch as she suddenly took Nexus away, down into the ground without a trace. He suddenly stood up, his mind racing. A lengthy chill ran up his spine as Paha spoke his most recent sentence. At the words of Telmina, Eversor looked down and reached a hand down to help her stand and help her stand. "What's going on?!", he finally cried, sounding more enraged than anything. The truth was, he was deathly afraid because of Paha's comment. Paha never said anything was going to be bad unless it was going to be very bad. He always had a state of confidence for anything else. Eversor looked at his Lord with a lost expression. "Do you know what Nexus speaks of? He mentioned an evil, ancient power. Would you know anything about it?"
His gaze flicked over toward the would-be monk, "Uru". "You. You don't have to explain yourselves now, but you better start explaining something.", he threatened the "monk" with his harsh, stern, growling voice.

Nexus was helpless as the obviously stronger sorcerer took him down, down, down to the Underworld. He fought as hard as he could though. He'd do anything to keep him away from that place. Alas, his efforts were futile as Maude had Magmen (people whose cores were of molten rock and their skin of hardened volcanic rock) hold him down with their rough and tough hands that looked as if they could crush a human's skull with less than a thought. Three of them held down the silenced Nexus, but not with ease. The muscular build of the necromancer proved to make holding him down a hastle at first, but only at first. Within the minute, he was in a subdued, flat position on the ground at Maude's feet. With no words to curse with, Nexus only flipped off the Queen of the Underworld.

Karn could sense his wife and his former servant re-entering his domain. He almost sighed. He had expected her to kill Nexus. Oh well, it wouldn't affect anything.
Karn lifted his glass and took a calm sip before placing it back where it was. "This "Underworld" has been getting a bit bland lately, and I'll be completely honest with you. I've never liked it at all, for the exception of the power that it's given me. I'd even go as far to say it has been rather...-", before he finished, he raised his right hand a few inches in front of his face and snapped his fingers. "-... Unpleasant."
Now.
The silent word he sent out with his mind seemed to echo within his estate joyously. In a split second after he had sent it, a veil had appeared from out of the chair that Nadia was sitting in. It expanded to a bubble-like structure that contained her, sealing her magic, and holding all mental messages within the confines of the bubble. Another split second after that, black Hell Iron chains burst from the marble tiling of Karn's dining room floor and wrapped around the Goddess like vengeful serpents. Nadia was bound, sealed and mentally silenced all at relatively the same time. The chains held her so tightly into her chair that it splntered and cracked until it finally brock into millions of shards of wood that left Nadia lying helpless. The veil that was sealing her mind and magic were absorbed by the chains, but they still held the same effect as if the bubble was still about her. Karn only grinned as now, after many many many long years of acting, he could finally take his mask off as to who he had become...

Many don't know much more of us, other than what other people tell them about us. Mainly, we're just personified as raging beasts that destroy anything in their path for no apparent reason. It's rather hurtful, you know.", he said before he turned his head to look at Kadra with a smile. "Would you like to know more? It's the least I can do for you."

Afsana was officially ignoring Leonardo, or trying her best to do so. "Why do I feel as if something very bad is about to happen?" She looked over toward Attorra then down to where Patilla now had a seat on the floor. But when Eversor spoke, she looked up to him.

"Down boy. If I were you I wouldn't go picking fights with my superiors." The man standing in the former monk's skin seemed to have done a complete 180. Everything about him came off as different, from his stance to his aura and especially his attitude. He did think it appropriate to comply however and turned to his sister, "Would you like to start?"

"That's alright," She passed the duty back to him, "Ladies first."

"I'll explain." It took most of the room by surprise when Patilla was the one who spoke up. He pushed himself up off of the ground and dusted his pants off, taking his time before he cleared his throat and began. He pointed a finger toward the male twin, "Codialaiuru," and another toward the female, "Maxaleibei." He emphasized the indication by signaling to each one again. "Codi and Max, the famous Generals from the Northern Mainlands, especially around the capital at Nonstrato. Am I leaving anything out, guys?"

Max looked a bit confused, "How did you know-?"

Patilla nodded, "Yes understandable you'd be surprised. But I'm me. A bandit never raids a territory without knowing the highest figures of authority in it." He winked, "I'm not stupid."

"Like the rest of us clearly are," Afsana still looked a bit confused, "So why, exactly if you are Max and Codi, are you here?"

"Business. We can explain to you the details on a later date, Majesty, for the time being, you all should probably just know what we do know." He nodded toward his sister, "Max is the seer, as is our father, and this is his prophecy: When the sun turns black and the moon turns red, the maiden is gone forever and the monk a liar, the new king will rise." He sighed, "The monk is a liar, we're not quite sure which maiden it will be, but I expect there should be quite a fantastic celestial display in a few short minutes."

"Yes, shall we go outside then?"

As everyone exited out through the front, Attorra turned tail and ran out through the back door.

"He going AWOL?" Codi cocked a brow as he noticed him.

Ackitahr snorted, "Nah, I doubt it. Don't worry about him."
---

Maude entered the room rather hastily, "I apologize, that shouldn't have taken so long, our damned restrictions." She smiled, "But we won't have to worry about them for long." She looked down at Nadia on the floor. She looked pathetic, and Maude liked the b***h that way. She pulled from her boot a blade. Long, slender and clear, it shimmered in even the dim lights, "A sorcerer's blade." She smirked, looking down at Nadia still, "One prepared especially for tonight, "Gorgeous, isn't it? These are...big, in my family." She winked and lifted a hand, the motion drawing up the chained woman with it to hold her up before the sorceress, "Are you prepared to die then?"

---

From behind the girl and the dragon in the lake, Attorra emerged from the back of the palace and stopped at the edge, he reached in for Kadra and began fishing her out of the water. It really wasn't very hard, she was rather light, and he had experience in teaching Patilla how to swim- a few months ago. "Come on, you. We gotta get you somewhere safe."

Leonardo was cautious. He wasn't sure if he trusted the new twins. They seemed to be on their side. But then again, they had lied. Walking closely to Afsana he leaned down to talk to her. On a serious note, putting the rest on hold. "Your highness, do we really trust them?"

"That's where I thought I recognized the two of you!" Paha said suddenly as they all headed outside. "I know your parents, the two of you look alot like them."

Since her father seemed temporarily distracted, Skyden made a dash for Uru's side. "Oh my love." She sighed happily.

Telmina leaned heavily on Eversor. "I feel sick." It wasn't the fact she was pregnant, is was the feeling of on coming doom. It hit her bones and sunk in taking a hold making her feel ill.
~ ~ ~ ~

Nadia at first, felt like maybe her brother was joking. Until the chain settled around her. The chains burned at her skin, and left marks, witch only darkened and got worse as the chains stayed close to her skin. "Brother!" She said trying to not sound to worried. "What is all this!?" She also tried to ignore the whore waving a knife in her face.
Her magical powers refused to come to her rescue. Everything was gone, like she was a normal human. She couldn't even reach out to Teinama for help. Panic slowly started to set in.

~ ~ ~ ~

Kadra almost freaked when hands wrapped themselves around her and began to pull. Turning quickly, she saw Attorra and blushed. "Oh Attorra! What in the world!?" She began to pull herself from the waters. Her white dress, almost see through. "Adurnafor and I were just having a friendly swim." She said quickly worried what the man would think. "We just are becoming better acquainted. You know I need to make more friends!" She laughed nervously folding her hands behind her back and smiling. Unaware of her dress's covering flaw.

Karn's grin broadened. A wicked and crazed smile that words failed to describe accurately. It seemed something from a fairytale, something only the worst villian could pull off and accomplish with natural ease. He turned to look to his wife that had just rejoined them. Karn's grin had now turned to a smirk, but that didn't lessen it's creepy aura, or effect. "Not just yet, dear. I want to do it on the human plane, so I can watch the resurrection of Godith myself. To watch our rise to power from the business end.", he said before looking back to his sister. "Have you heard of Godith the Cleanser? The Creator and Destroyer? I doubt so. The ancients sealed him within his own creation, the earth we walk now. Far below the surface they imprisoned him due to his unyielding lust for destruction, just so they could save their own hides and start life, which has developed into what we have now. What they didn't understand that where Godith rampaged, a new generation would evolve and thrive in his wake. They didn't understand it at the time, but that was how our ancestors and ancients came to be in the first place. The very thing that gave them life was sealed into the core of the earth by it's creations. I can only imagine what he will do when he resurfaces.", he said with a maniacal chuckle. "Some say that the mere sound of his voice makes creature's insticts run wild with lust, power, and greed. But this isn't my case, no. He has openned my eyes to my destiny. The destiny that I have been so long denied. The destiny YOU denied me, nNadia. My own sister! My flesh and blood!" Karn surged forward to bring his foot down onto Nadia's thoat, choking her of breath as he kneeled and brought his face down to her level, a few inches from her face. "Now I'm going to take everything from you with the very things you gave me down here in this s**t world. I rather like it actually, but I can't stand answering to my own little sister who betrayed me to love a stronger man for his power. I can assure you now, little sister, I am going to be far stronger than you could have ever imagined!"
With that, he kicked off of Nadia to stand up and clear his throat. "Lets get to the surface and end this."

Nexus didn't fight the Magmen that were holding him down, but merely listened as best as he could. What he heard only confirmed his previous thoughts on the matter. Nexus tried with all his might to send an invisible surge of magic to anyone on the surface within the palace throne room. A single word. A name that he hoped would get through to Uru, or one the dragons, or anyone that had heard the stories of Godith.
The message that came with the surge of magic: "Godith!"
His first attempt met an iron hard barrier that stopped his magic in it's tracks. Nexus frowned, but only sent a stronger message that was met with an equally strong barrier, but his message seemed to seep and bleed through it.
"Godith!"

Karn felt a force trying to pierce one of the barriers that he had put on his household and sighed. It was coming from the inside and trying to get out, so it had to be Nexus. "Will you just kill him? He's rather annoying." he asked Maude as if he had expected it to be done already.

Eversor growled vicously at the lying sorcerer. "This dog will have you crawling on the floor in agony and anguish if you aren't careful. Your spine will rot slowly from my magic, your muscles with freeze before you spasm so hard that you break your own back and spit your guts out. But that's after I make your skin melt off, you lying snake. I don't care who you are, I'll end you all the same." the dragon spat merciless words at the "Codialaiuru". It was then that Eversor started wondering why had become so hostile all of a sudden. It must his fear, but fear from what? This level of it couldn't be the result of Paha's single statement...
He felt Telmina lean heavily on him and he held fast, looking at her curiously. A single, wise phrase came to him, explained to him in his mind. A memory from his long-dead parents that was transmitted to him through his bloodline.
In the case of an approaching doom of severe proportion, a dragon will react severely in different ways. A massive event of massive destruction, or a death of someone close to them could have equal reactions, but we call these Doomful Premonitions...
"Paha," the dragon said sharply as he looked up. "I don't think we should go outside... Me and Tellie have Doomful Premonitions and judging by how severe they are, nothing good can come of this. Floradail looks as if she has it too."

Floradail, having caught her breath finally, despairingly trudged over to where Eversor and Telmina stood. Her ears were flat to her neck, her wings drooping in a depressed manner as her hind-quarters stayed low to the ground as if she were in some large amount of trouble. She trudged over to the draconic couple like a sad, scolded puppy, silent as the grave as she reached them and sat down with her head low, looking at Paha like some kind of lost creature.

"My point exactly. Nothing good can come from this celestial event. I assure of it..."

Gravagarra had already been on the way to the palace accompanied by Infernara. The Storm Dragon knew what he was feeling, but Infernara was only following because Gravagarra refused to expain what she was also feeling at the moment. Gravagarra ran with thundering paws that made the ground shake anything nearby, due only to his size and weight. He slid to a stop when he came to the back of the structure, where the easiest way to the throne room was. He saw the door open as Paha started to come outside only to find the massive Gravagarra before him. "What's going on, Lord of Karmea? I can sense many dragons and other beings in the King's presence. Is there a meeting?"

Infernara was shaking when she and Gravagarra stopped before the door to the throne room, ignoring the guards there. She felt deathly cold and sluggish, and what made it worse is that she didn't have a clue as to why this was.

Adurnafor saw Atorra approaching at a rapid pace and started swimming to get between him and Kadra, worried he had come to hurt her out of no where. This was only met by a sudden realization of extreme weariness. When he went to move, the dragon barely moved with his feeble attempts at swimming. He quickly dipped under the surface and, with a swirl from the surrounding water, reverted back into his Dragon Form. His head broke the water with a flurry as he struggled to leave the water to get onto the shore. All he accomplished was smacking his snout into the shoreline, which he yelped abit in surprise to. With a sustained spell, the Water Dragon had the water surrounding him condense and solidify slightly and push him onto the shore out of the water. Adurnafor panted from his efforts and found himself taken aback by his sudden weariness. "What the ******** going on, Attorra? It's rude to do that, you know." he said passed his pants of exhaustion.

Maude rolled her eyes at her husband's attitude. She had a feeling he would start acting like this. Hopefully it wouldn't be for too long. She sighed, "I don't think he's worth the time or effort." She raised a hand anyhow, and when she brought it down there was yet another barrier around the necromancer, this one though would immediately begin draining the energy from him until he was lifeless. She turned back to Karn, "Let's go, before her useless husband catches on."

---

"You know," Codi began, addressing the dragon, as he started outside, "You're not a very nice dragon. But I don't feel like arguing you any longer, I'll just let you think that you can take me in a fight." It was then that the sorcerer was jumped by his crazed fangirl. He muttered a single, "hello," and continued about effortlessly as if she weren't hanging off of him like a monkey.

"Even if you guys didn't trust us, what other options do you have?" Max had overheard Leonardo and responded before Afsana could. "Besides, she should trust us anyhow. After all, we're family."

"Family?" Afsana was nearing the exit when the room was shaken, filled with the sound of a single word, and it sounded as if it were Nexus. "Godith." What in the world did that mean? She looked to Codi instantly, with a questioning look.

Codi simply returned the favor looking equally as confused, "I'm not sure I have eve heard that in my life. Anyone? It must mean something." He turned to Patilla, "What about you, kid?"

Patilla shook his head, "He's not a general, sheriff or king, I don't know s**t."

Ackitahr shrugged, "Got me." He turned to Afsana "Shall I gather the army to fight?"

Afsana shook her head, "No. Yes, gather them, but their purpose is to defend the people of G'Reth, they won't fight other people's battles. Make sure everyone in the kingdom is protected, Ackitahr."

The goat smiled and lowered his head respectfully, "Yes your majesty." He then stood and raced out to begin rallying the troops.

---

Attorra then noted the woman's lack of decency. He looked away and quickly worked off his belt so he could take off his tunic and put it on over her clothes. He worked it over her, with no time for protest and when it was on lifted her, throwing the girl over his shoulder, "Let's go."

Nadia coughed loudly, realizing her once loving brother was gone. His brain eaten by some madness she couldn't understand. Again she tried to call some power, something, anything. But no powers would rise to her call. Not even a stir. The chains bound around her began to blacken her skin and blister it. She stifled any noise she wanted to make. "Teinama will kill you Karn." She said in a low warning voice.
~ ~ ~ ~

Paha froze, the word Godith that he knew. "Godith, that was Godith?!" He began pacing about "If someone is letting lose that beast we are all dead. The old ones, the very first of every race, they had just barely enough power combined to seal it beneath the ground." He stopped looked at the three sickly dragons then to the rest of the group. "If Godith gets out, he'll wipe everything off the face of the planet, the holy mother and father both would have a hard time knocking him back."

Leonardo felt energized he could run laps around the palace and still feel as good as the day he was born. "I think you may be over reacting."

Paha whirled around to snap at the lion. "You have never dealt with this kind of power!" He sighed and tried to calm his rising panic.

Skyden wrapped her arms more tightly around Uru. "Oh I'm scared." She said snuggling in, no she really wasn't, but it was a good excuse to get closer.
~ ~ ~ ~

Kadra yelped. "Attorra, what in the world!?" Why was he being so rude, and why had be put his tunic over her, her dress wasn't that awful to look at. She slapped his back lightly a couple of times. "Pu me down!"

Karn nodded. "If that d**k's magic got through my barrier, then all the more reason to hurry up, 'cause I really don't feel like dealing with human s**t right now. And what are you worried about? Teinama doesn't even know what's happened to her. And when he does, it'll be far too late for her, or for Teinama to stop me.", he said as if Nadia wasn't even there.
Karn strolled over to his sister and picked her up by the chains that went across her back. "Lets finish this." Karn said as he waved a hand in front of him to open a portal that lead to the surface and began to step through it.

Nexus heeved against the Magmen that were holding him down, but in vain. He suddenly felt that his strength was slowly slipping from him, no doubt due to his message he had sent to the surface. He knew the spell and it only made him think. An idea came to mind, as he still had all of his powers that Karn had given him. He instantly invaded the minds of the Magmen, seizing their thoughts, bodies, and souls to bend to his will. The Magmen froze in place for a few seconds, then stood up and allowed Nexus to stand. He was going to thank them, but he still had the Silent Seal across his mouth. With a burst of energy from his hand, he took hold of it and ripped it from his mouth. "Attack Karn. Don't let him leave!" he called and the Magmen obeyed, running around the corner and heading straight for Underworldly Lord. They were followed by Nexus, who saw the portal and headed straight for it.

Karn caught a flicker of movement out of the corner of his eye and turned just in time to duck a slug from a volcanic fist. "Cute."
The "man, if that's what you'd still call him, thrust an open palm upward at the Magman's skull. The blow blew the creature's skull into millions of fragments no larger than a fingernail. With a hand motion, the fragments froze in mid-air and shot through the second Magman, ripping fingernail size holes through every square inch of the monster before it fell to the ground.
The third and slowest Magman lumbered toward Karn with time to spare. This allowed him to manifest a swirling black mist around his right hand that came together to create the like-ness of a broadsword. Once within striking distance, Karn swung the sword with deadly speed, strength and precision in a vertical slice right down the middle of the beast. The Magman had brought his arm up to catch the blade before it hit him, but in vain. The blade cut through the the creature's hand and body with a clean grating noise that sounded much like nails of a chalkboard. The Magman then fell into its respective pieces and Karn took one large stride toward Nexus, who seemed to be attempting to flee, and swung his sword in rapid succession. All the while Karn kept the same glare that was void of all emotion.

Nexus had almost made it to the portal with his mad rush, but he was stopped short when Karn dispatched the Magmen quicker than he thought and was now attacking him. Nexus reversed his pace, rapidly stepping backward to stay out of reach of Karn's blade. This was only met with him losing his balance and stumbling backward with a quick curse.

Karncontinued his advance until Nexus lost his balance. The quickest move he could muster to seize the moment of vulnarability was a swift kick to the necromancer's chest, sending him barreling backward. Nexus flew into the dining room table, shattering it at impacta and continuing his flight into the opposite wall, which stoodd fast to the blow.
"As much as I'd really like to kill you, Nexus, I'm just too busy for your games. Maybe you'll reconsider where your alligence lies after my task is complete."
With that, Karn threw Nadia, who he had been carrying the entire time in his left hand, into the portal and quickly followed after, leaving the broken necromancer to groan with his several broken ribs.

Eversor felt a chill run through his body at Paha's statement of Godith. "Is there a way that this could all be wrong? Maybe there's some kind of misinterpretation..."

Adurnafor mustered his strength at the sound of Kadra's distress and leaped so he landed in front of Attorra. He took up a pre-pouncing stance with a savage growl. "Put her down, or start explaining yourself, Attorra! If you don't you'll get to explain to your Maker how it feels to be slowly digested in a dragon's stomach acids!"
PostPosted: Mon Sep 19, 2011 8:22 pm

Maude watched as Nexus attempted an escape, she rolled her eyes. But finally, when he threw Nadia through the portal and stepped through, she followed. She was sure to close the portal behind them though and stepped out on the other side.

---

Afsana gave a questioning look around the room, "So, what to we do? About this Godith thing, I mean? How do we do this?"

"What kind of power are we dealing with then?" Codi ignored the woman clinging to him and continued, "Lord Paha?"

---

Though they were in the middle of a happy meal, Chikanno's head suddenly hurt a little more than he could bear. He simply grunted and frowned however, "Ugh, that's probably not good."

Teinama looked over at the man with a concerned look before placing a hand gently on his back, "Are you alright?" He knew that Chikanno generally only got headaches when one of his visions didn't come through.

Chikanno nodded, "I should be fine, it's probably just something I'm not meant to see." He sighed, "It's always upsetting though, because it's usually important."

---

Attorra simply scoffed, "I don't have time for you, sorry." He didn't even bother to turn to look at the dragon as he spoke, but her glanced up to Kadra, "Listen, there's something bad coming, and you're probably not going to be safe outside, alright? Especially without anyone to protect you."

Nadia groaned when she hit the floor on the other side. The pain in her body was immense. Never in her life had she ever been this powerless. The poo man trying to escape. She replayed his small fight in her head, it would be a shocker if he didn't have at least a dozen broken bones.
Nadia glanced around them, trying to spot anyone, or anything she could use to help free herself, or at least call out to her husband. They were on the mortal plane, this was a place she would normally have more power in. But no surge of power came to her.

Paha sighed and stopped his pacing. Again he pushed hair back out of his face with his right hand. "Godith. It's an ancient creature one that some say helped to create the races of people we have today. But to create it has to destroy. It obliterates everything in it's path sparing nothing. It's power is older then" Paha paused trying to think of anything older then the Godith. "Well it's the oldest power I can think of. But it was locked away, to sit in the underworld by our ancestors, my closest relatives. When the world was divided into three kingdoms."

Mala looked concerned as well. "Darling?" She asked placing a hand on his knee and squeezing lightly. "If it's something you're not supposed to see then, well it probably has to do with yourself."

Kadra stilled completely as she rode on Attorra's shoulder. "I'll see you later Adurnafor." She called as they walked quickly passed him. "What are you talking about? Is there some sort of uprising?"

Karn came through the portal to his destination, the palace courtyard of King Afsana. An excellent staging point for the rise of Godith. To strike the people where it hurt most to maximize the amount of fear his magic would instill.
"Remeber this place, Nadia? Of course you do, but you won't when I'm done with it! You won't even be able to tell rock from rubble after this. Too bad you won't live to see any of it. Such a pity, don't you think?" The man said before he grabbed the chains on Nadia's back and dragging her before he snapped his fingers and closed the portal behind him. He was unaware of a shuffled noise behind him just before he closed the portal, nor would he care anyway if he had taken notice to it. Little did he know it was his old servant, Nexus, still trying to stop him. Not like it mattered really. Nothing could possibly stop him at this point, and he sure as s**t didn't give a s**t. Not even the King could muster an army mighty enough to thwart him. Nadia, in here pathetic state, couldn't do anyhting more than moan, cry and b***h. Which was soon going to be silenced forever.
Karn still had his sword in his hand when he threw Nadia onto the ground again. "Hun," he started, addressing Maude, ", why don't you use my sword to kill her? I would think it would be much more satisfying to run her through with a larger blade, seeing as it has the same desired effect. But," he stopped as he sunk his sword into the stone bricked ground, cracking the material like glass, ", that's up to you. Just as long as you get the job done.", he finished before he looked up into the sky. The sun had risen to it's highest point. At any moment, the moon would begin to slide in front of it, stealing it's warmth. Stealing it's light and hope as well as it's purpose. But at the same time it would give Karn everything.

Nexus painfully pulled himself to his feet, a hand on his pained chest as he fought the burning from his broken bones. Seizing the chance of which Karn and Maude had left with their hostage, he stumbled as quickly as he could without falling and lept through the closing portal, but at a cost.
The necromancer landed heavily on the other side in the middle of the courtyard of the Afsana's Palace. He gasped as his pain heightened in his chest with his landing and then tried to stand, only to experience more pain. He looked back at his feet to find that they had been severed. Left behind in Karn's estate due to the closed portal. He looked to see Karn walking away from him and Nexus bit his lip to keep himself from making any sort of noise. He tried crawling for the nearest cover, which was a large fountain, so he could hide until they had left.

Eversor shivered at his lord's words. "Could something truly be that powerful? Couldn't it just be a legend? A myth?"

Adurnafor's expression turned from one of ferocity to a state of confusion. "Wait, what's going on?" he said as he started to follow the two.

"Killing a god, that's quite a crime, darling." Maude stepped up and grabbed the sword, yanking it up from the ground. She looked the sword over as if something might happen, but nothing did, and she smiled anyhow. She pointed the blade in Nadia's direction, the tip of it resting only a centimeter or so from the woman's chin. She then lowered it down her neck to her heart and sighed, "Unfortunately, I'm not going to go the cliched route of asking you for final words, because frankly, I'm not interested." She jerked forward and plunged the blade into the helpless woman's heart.

Codi's head lifted when he felt an odd presence outside. "I feel like soemthing bad is about to happen. He slowly looked in the direction of the courtyard. "Lion, protect the king. Max, come with me. Everyone else should stay inside, at least until we know what's going on."

"Should we...get dad?" Max straightened her belt while looking to her brother for an answer.

Codi just shook his head, "We don't need to bother him with something we can handle, Max." He nodded toward the courtyard, let's go." With that, he started off that way with his twin at his heels.

Afsana made a face, "Are you kidding me? How come the monk is allowed to fight and I have to stay inside and 'out of harm's way'? I can handle myself, and I deserve to know what's going on here, too!"

---

"It's usually me or the children. Should I check in with them then?" He stood of from the table and excused himself, leaving the room rather quickly.

Teinama sighed, "What now?"

---

"I don't know. It's just probably not good." Attorra sighed and placed Kadra beside him, so she didn't have to hang off of his shoulder anymore, "Either way, we should get someplace safe, and I doubt that outside is any sort of safe right no-" He stopped, staring past the dragon. A small distance behind the pond the had come out of, there was a group of children, none of which appeared any older than twelve. "Oh boy." He snatched Kadra by the hand and started off that way, "Come on."

---

Ariasana looked around from the back of her horse. The map looked nothing like this area, and the area looked nothing like the description anyone had given them. She took another look around. "We're ******** lost!"

Nadia could do nothing as the two talked. Her powers refused to rise. She couldn't reach out to Teinama, an she didn't want to bring the humans into this battle, at least not yet.
As the large sword plunged into her chest, it severed one of the two necklaces she had on. She shrieked, back bowing off the ground, in pain that fell off as her life quickly began to fade. The necklace fell into a growing puddle of blood. It was a fail safe necklace, one that ran on it's own power, an reacted to spells and blood, it came alive sending a brief message to Teinama, flashes of the last few things Nadia saw and felt, he would receive news of her death. Her blood pumped quickly from her body her last thoughts sending off with the last message, "Karn has betrayed us. I love you, we'll meet again." Her heart gave one last shuddering pump, and stopped.
Once again the necklace flared to life white hot light engulfing it, it crackled in the puddle of blood and shot off, dissapearing into the sky leaving no trace behind it. The necklace had two jobs left, find a safe body for the soul of the fallen goddess, and to raise the Colossus.

Paha raced ahead of the others, he recognized all three of those powers. He made it out into the court yard in time to see the sword sticking out of a lifeless Nadia. "Oh ********." He took another couple of steps the froze and looked behind him for the twins. "They killed the holy mother. She's dead." His voice was shocked Nadia was dead, he never thought of all the people to kill her, that it would be her own brother.

Mala frowned. "Not much to do." The baby was crawling around on the floor by her feet, chewing anything he could stuff into his mouth. Laughing as he pulled at her skirts she bent down and picked him up. "Your daddy is so weird." She said bouncing the happy baby on her knee. "An your uncle Tei is just as bad."

Leonardo kept the king from running out. "Afsana. Please just wait a few moments for them to clear the area." He froze when he heard the woman's scream. It wasn't a voice he knew.

Skyden shivered. "Who do you think that was?"

Leonardo shook his head. "It wasn't one of the twins. I know that."

Abarden looked alarmed. "She has to be dead. The way it cut off like that, she has to be dead. Something bad is going on."

Telmina bolted from her husband's side to spew her guts in a potted plant. After a few coughs she sat up. "This feeling is only getting worse."

Kadra had to run to keep up with Attorra's pace. She had little time to blush over the fact the two of them were holding hands. "I'm as confused as you are!" She called over her shoulder to the dragon. "Wait who are those kids, Attorra?"
~ ~ ~ ~

Leonidas laughed "I so told you like a week ago that we were lost." grinning from ear to ear he turned in the direction Ariasana was riding. " So how bad lost are we?"

Karn grinned from the woman's shriek. It was nearly complete. He only needed to do one more thing before his scheme was complete...
Karn was amused by the necklace that glowed and made the blood boil. It shot into the air and Karn shrugged and quickly walked over toward his sister's corpse. As if Nadia was some sort of sporting animal that he had just slain, he put a heavy boot on her chest and wrenched his sword from hir sternum. Several emotions tried to smite him at once. Guilt. Compassion. Sadness. Lose. And were cast aside by an alien force that gripped Karn with an iron fist now more tightly than ever.
"I am the master of this world now. Not even Teinama could stop me now." he stopped himself short to feel himslelf grow a bit stronger, faster, smarter. People were already becoming afraid due to his act of sacrifice, making him more powerful. One such source of fear was very nearby and Karn turned to find a pair of Chikanno's twins and Paha. "Not even you three and Teinama can hope to stop me!"
Karn swung his sword upward, sending a stream of blood into the air to splatter onto the ground. The blood droplets sizzled and foamed, growing in size and shaping itself until each of them had formed into a 16-person squad of scarlet copies of Nadia. Each of them had the original Nadia's extent of power, only they were all super-charged with Karn's as well. "Kill them. I don't want a single distraction!" He shouted, then turned with a grin as he raised the sword that was in his hand and plunged it downward into the ground while at the same time, the swarm of Nadia copies surged forward toward the three sending spells and drawing weapons alike. The ground splintered and a small fist-sized crater was created around where the sword had met it's mark. From where the sword had struck, cracks meandered, twisted and jolted across the ground and broke deep into the earth with unlimited ferocity. The sounds of the cracks were ear-splitting, but a single voice rose up from the chaotic noise...
"A childless mother we had bound. Bound by chains to cease thy charming voice. Bound thy hands to stay thy magic. Bound thy feet to hold thy rooted..." As Karn's words flew on the wind from his twisted grin, the cracks in the earth all started to meld together and travel off to a center point that all met just outside of the gate to Afsana's palace. Pieces of earth fell away into a bottomless pit that swallowed them like an ever hunery being. Beyond all of this, something stirred within the depths and recesses of the ground that was breaking away from the massive spell. Karn's voice still split through the noise like a knife...
"Thy blood we have taken to destroy. To destroy that which thy had created imperfect and replace with my own ambition.
We spill thy blood to cover the ground as thy used to coat thy imperfect world with thy tracks. We spill thy blood to plung thy imperfect world into darkness, like thy heart; A lover scorned by thy partner's lust. And like a pheonix, my own ambition will rise from the ashes of thy imperfections as a thing of flawlessness..."

Eversor's fear heightened only to cause him to mask it further with a blanket of rage and ferocity. "You'll have to shake it off soon. I fear by how the others are moving, we may have a hard fight on our hands. Can you handle yourself, Sugarscales?" he asked before he cracked his neck from side to side and rolled his shoulders. His was rage was building so much he felt that he might burst. He had to find something to vent it out on and Paha seemed to have went in a good direction for just that. The ground began to vibrate from a deep undertone that rattled everything. "Paha said that that Godith thing was sealed in the Underworld, right?"

Floradail bolted from Eversor's feet and went to hide in a cleaning supply closet before Eversor caught her by the tip of her tail.

"No! We need you, Floradail, to run out to the surrounding civilians and get them clear of here. Then you find Ackitahr to help him round up troops. Then you can hide."

Gravagarra felt the large amount of power surging from somewhere nearby and sought it out only to find Paha and the twins faced with a small force of woman that strangely all looked the same. The dragon roared and went into a battle-ready stance as eager charges of indigo electricity came from him.

Infernara had found her way toward where she mentally reached out and felt Eversor. She felt chilled to the bone. Void of all warmth, she reverted to her human form so she wouldn't wreck the place as she entered the throne room. "Eversor, Telmina, I think we're going to be needed outside. Gravagarra has already went to the source of what we're feeling. Even with him there, I have a feeling that he'll need more help..."

Adurnafor was now at a moderate trot before he seemed to feel Attorra's urgency rubbing off on him. When they made their way toward the group of children, he knew something was going to go horribly wrong. If this man was so concerned for so many things, nothing good could be the reason behind it. "I can help." he said flattly before snagging Kadra from the back of her dress collar with the tip of his jaws and swinging her to his back. He set her down in a hollow where his shoulders and his neck met, a perfect riding spot. Soon after, Attorra was now sitting on the dragon's back as well. "Tell what you need done and it shall be done. I am sure I will be able to help you greatly with my speed and abilities. What first? You want these children rounded up?" he wasn't about to question what was going on. He was only concerned with helping minimize the damages that were going to be dealt by this thing Attorra was scurrying about about. He seemed the man to have a plan and Adurnafor was going to aid him where he could.
