Jarl laughed a bit at that. "Thats good to know. .And as of yet, its just Myself, yourself, and Zero."

Rayne smiled and walked forward a little bit, drawing out her dagger. She, then, leapt extremely high into a backflip, tumbling several times in the air and then landed onto a hovering circular disc made of ice that flew in from behind, thrusting her dagger through it to keep balance. And as the disc slowly rose to the air two large orbs made of water began to dance in a zig zag around her, waiting for her command.
Rayne looked down at Jarlaxle, slowly standing up on her disc, and grinned playfully, "Well, I'm ready when you are." She handed out her hand in front of her, and said the name to herself, "Isis", and with that, the dagger shot out into the air, and Rayne quickly grabbed the handle and put it back into place.
((A problem I had when I frst started role-playing was just not my character fighting.. but getting use to the combat and stuff of fighting. All the actions and stuff, you know. I have trouble with that. sweatdrop But I want to have fun.))

Jarlaxle watched all this. "It seems that you've been practising alot more than just a 'bit'. Thats very good, Rayne. .Now, I suppose we should get going, Eh? Come on, take my hand. We'll be arriving there shortly, and I want you to stay close to me, and follow my lead when we do. Try not to let anyone know you've met Zero before, eh?"

Come on, take my hand. We'll be arriving there shortly, and I want you to stay close to me, and follow my lead when we do. Try not to let anyone know you've met Zero before, eh?" "Alright, then let's go." Rayne took his hand and waited. Before anything, Rayne looked at Jarlaxle and smiled confidently to let him know once again that she was up and wiling to do anyhting she could to help him out.

Jarlaxle nodded to her and created a dimmentional portal beneth their feet, comming out about where Enishi and company was by Zero Tower.

Shinzui walked down from earth clan. he had on a hooded cloak, a pack strapped to his back and a gnarled wooden staff. he looked every inch the aimless traveler. His true purposes would come when/if he met with someone from river clan.

"You seem lost but well prepared. Mind if I ask where you're headed good sir?" Game stepped onto the path a reasonable distance in front of the traveler so as not to seem intimidating but close enough to speak comfortably.

Game stepped onto the path a reasonable distance in front of the traveler so as not to seem intimidating but close enough to speak comfortably. in a calm voice tainted with skillfully faked age he replied "somewhere i can can get some food and drink without getting hit over the head" Shinzui hoped the man would not look close enough to see his face in detail. at the moment it was partially covered in his hood but closer inspection would reveal exactly who he was. "would you happen to live around here?"

He smiled. "The river provides both my friend. And yes, I would so happen to." A gut feeling told him he was being played but he decided to go along with it. For the moment there was no ill intent, and there was never any harm in waiting.

He thought a moment. "There's a spot about three kilometers East. It's a very shady spot with dappled sunlight that tricks the fish more often than not into believing there are bugs on the water. There are both deep and shallow spots in the water, so many kinds reside there."

"okay" he said no longer disguising his voice, he wasn't getting any of the info he wanted out of this ruse so he had no point in continuing(sp?) "but to tell the truth i'm really not that hungry." he said as he took off the cloak.

Shinzui thought he got enough information to feel suspicious of river clan for a while and a growing unease prompted him to leave. so in a cyclone of leaves he left river behind.
