I'm more open-minded than that, LPS. I'm sure there are a lof of people in here who are as well, but I can't speak for them.
I'm curious as well.
I shan't be rejecting.
A Prophecy for Peace by Sean Von Dehn

Basically it's about thought being the creative force of the universe - if you believe wholeheartedly in something without a shadow of a doubt, that's all it takes to make it real. Belief is what enslaves us, and belief is what can liberate us. It all depends on what you believe.

And why would you be shunned for that?
I do believe that anything we believe without a shadow of a doubt can be real and can be made into existence.
Our minds are a powerful thing.
I'mma have to check out that book.
It's not only that. It's that belief is the thing that brings the things into existence. It is literally the building block of your reality.

For example (I know this might be hard to believe but bear with me), last week I was running low on money and I kind of wanted a haircut. I got to the chapter about how your parents wouldn't be able to tell you how you became a human being from a sperm and an egg because they don't know, they didn't actively do it. So I was trying to wrap my head around that and no sooner did I decide I wanted to see my mother than my cellphone rang - it was her. She had put $40 in my bank and she was coming out to see us next week - and bringing her ex-hairdresser friend.

So, I'm kind of afraid you'll all shun me because I doubt it will be believable to you guys. I'm afraid my beliefs will make themselves real again. Thinking positive things is that much harder when you know that any negative things you think of will happen.

How amazing. Everything that was thought about happened. Makes me smile. x'D

But nah, no shunning, I believe it. Hard to completely understand it, but I believe it.

I've watched What the Bleep Do We Know and The Secret. They deal with things similar to what you're speaking of. But I don't think as in depth as the book seems to.

What I like about his philosophy is that he doesn't ignore or denounce the other religious/scientific sources as false; for example he doesn't favor evolution or creationism, instead he uses examples from both science and religion as evidence of his theory in motion.

@Lady Psycho Sexy,

I'm the author of the Book You are reading - thank You! I would Love to hear where You got Your copy. It was so encouraging to read these comments. The intention behind the Book was that anyone who read it and thought positively, would be rewarded and reassured by the universe through seemingly 'miraculous' synchronicities and coincidences. This is a great example and something I would like to publish to My Blog. Could I persuade You to tell this story again in Your own words for My Blog?

Thank You so much for this! I get to see how My influence affects those in My life, but rarely do I have an opportunity to see how the words I've written are affecting and helping strangers who read My Book. As far as negative thoughts are concerned... Just be aware of them and correct them, tell Your mind they are false and the universe will show You its true.

I think the peace sign should be an emoticon. Peace and heart

Don't be embarrassed, lol! The quote You used came from another friend of mine who had been telling Me similar stories of 'synchronicities'. Every weekend things We discuss seem to materialize in their reality by the time I visit next. As My friend was telling Me he was starting to believe, his girlfriend who is a Buddhist said, 'When the student is ready, the master appears'.

So when I started the new section of My Blog about teaching, it was to include personal stories of how people in My own life start to experience synchronicities as a result of teaching and the quote seemed like a perfect first lesson.

I get a notification anytime someone links to My Blog. Today I decided to see where it came from and found this thread. I was actually looking for stories like this to provide examples for the section You quoted. I could tell countless 'unbelievable' stories like this, but there is no 'proof' for My readers. An actual testimonial from someone is much more powerful and I would be honoured if You would retell the story and I will publish it.

Thanks for Your support, keep sharing, keep dreaming!

Peace and Love,
-vonDehn
