"Well of course. You two come right on in." the woman replied as she stepped out of the way. Once the two were inside, she went about locking everything up again. Then she turned and began leading the two out of the shop and down the hall into the main part of the house. "Let's just get her taken care of first, and then you can speak with the Madam when she comes in." the woman said, leading him up the stairs and into the floor with all of the guest rooms. "There should be a room right up here that will treat her injuries."

Luke nodded and carried Alex into the room the servant indicated, setting her down safely.
"Now... is Miss Edel around?" he asked the servant, and he pulled the dormant Black Ring from his pocket. "She might want to see this..."

The woman nodded, and let him back out of the room. There she motioned for another servant, and had him lead Lucas back down into the first level of the home while she turned and went back to tending to Alex.
The man led Lucas down, and into one of the many lounges of the large home. Edel sat, half lying across the couch, with a book in her hands. She glanced up as the two entered the room, then snapped the book shut in her hands. "The man has something he needs to show you Missus." the man said as he entered.
"....very well. All I can do at the moment is wait on my spells. Let him in." Edel replied.

Luke moved into the room Edel was in and gave her a nod.
"I'm sorry to bother you, ma'am," he said, "but I think Nekron's army is starting to get a little bit bigger. Alex and I just encountered three Black Lanterns in Gotham. Two of them are from my universe; one was a former enemy of the X-Men and the other was a Spider-Man rogue. I say 'was' because... well, I ripped them both apart for trying to hurt Alex," he said, and his voice got a bit quieter.
"Then the third one... he nearly killed Alex with some sort of magic spell... and he nearly ripped my heart out," Luke said, surprisingly well-adjusted for a man who had been very close to being the next Black Lantern not too long ago.
"I managed to stop him with Alex's help. She severed his ring hand, and I pulled his ring off on an impulse... then he just... well, his body became a dead corpse again. Alex ripped it to shreds so another Black Ring couldn't get to him..." he continued, and he showed the dormant ring to her.

Edel stared at the ring for a long moment, then sighed and took the ring from him. "Tearing him to shreds will do nothing to keep him dead, I'm afraid." she replied, then carefully looked at the ring. "All Nekron will have to do is get a ring around one of the chunks, and it will give Thorn enough energy to start to regenerate himself. But...it's a good thing you took the ring. I should be able to use this, and it will take a while before Abolisher gets another ring." she said, then paused a moment in thought. "And....with any luck....I'll be able to use this to track down Atropos."

Luke blinked. "Abolisher? Sounds like a very bad pro wrestler name..." Luke said, before the rest of what Edel said clicked.
"Atropos? Alex and I met her in Hell..." he said, and then his cheeks went pink.
"She, uh... liked my figure..." he muttered, embarrassed.

"Did she?" Edel asked, still inspecting the ring. "From what I hear she does like to flirt. Though when they were here last I was under the impression that she had done a little more than just....." she said, then suddenly stopped and grew quiet. Then blinked. And glanced up at him.
Latch had been complaining that her sister had intertwined threads with a human. Had gotten Demona in on it. Edel didn't really inquire about the whole thing that much. It wasn't any of her business.
But.......
"Oh? Was it Atropos or Demona? Atropos doesn't seem like she's much of one to flirt with men to me." she asked. A lie, but she didn't want to just outright ask how much she liked his figure.

Luke blinked. "It was Atropos... I don't know who 'Demona' is, but... if you mean this one woman who tried to pretend to be Alex who tried to... give me a 'good dream'..."

"I figured out what was up and politely declined the offer. I did that because earlier things got... heated between me and Alex, if you get my meaning, and I promised I'd be a gentleman and not indulge myself. And as far as I was concerned, that included when I was dreaming."

Edel was quiet for a moment, then sat back in her chair. "Oh.....alright. You're sure you didn't have any dreams that could have....never mind." she said, then pulled a ring from her pocket. "Would you mind if I took a drop of your blood? Just in case......I need it later?"

Edel hesitated, then sighed and leaned back in her chair. "Atropos managed to use Demona to trick a human man into impregnating her. I know because I had all the Fates here as guests, and her older sister was complaining about the complicated thread of life she'd have to make now. I did not hear who she used Demona to trick. But...after the life was created, I was attacked by Lanterns. They kidnapped her. Because her sisters left, I can't use the child to track where Atropos is at. But if I try and use her DNA....and the potential father's DNA....I can track the child. It gives me much better results than just trying to track her, because I see many places that she's been to."
