Firstly, thank you for the invitation. I've been searching around for a good role playing guild, and I'm hoping this particular one will be a good one.
Secondly, some basic information about me, I suppose:
Name: Secret, but you may call me Ruki or Fiera, either will work.
Age: I am 25, hopefully not the oldest here. sweatdrop
Location: Iowa, known for corn and cows, not potatoes.
Likes: This is difficult as there are many things I enjoy. For a beginning list:
Reading (all manner of books from fiction to nonfiction);
Writing (mostly short stories and poems, and then of course textual role playing);
Drawing (mostly cartoonish or anime style things, characters mostly, but I have been known to do a pretty good still life in black and white);
Learning (damn near anything I find interesting, especially about plants);
Zombies (I actually have a full zombie apocolypse plan, with certain key people and designated jobs, even a destination and plan for long term survival, I'm not joking);
Role Playing (anything, though I've never been great at military or type roleplays);
Manga (lots of different types, tough I haven't read anything in awhile);
Anything Paranormal (I ghost hunt on my own or with friends every now and then, and have contacted some interesting characters through my homemade ouija board, its not a game kids), Romantic (who doesn't like a bit of romance), Morbid (give me blood, guts, violence any day), or Dark (used in the general sense of the term, as many things fall under the category).
Dislikes: Sour things, extreme cold or heat, unintelligence, bad grammar, chat speak, when role plays die.
Any questions, feel free to ask. Now, on to work, and then exploration of this guild.

Nice to meet you. Any particular area you're interested in? We've got two up and running(HP/Discworld), and working on another two(Dresdin files/Van Aer..*Japanese fighting robot show*)..despite the appearance of the guild. o.o' I'm far more active in the Harry Potter realm then everything else, but you can usually expect a reply in 2-3 days there, if not sooner.

We don't have any claimed canon characters to my knowledge, but you can adopt a created OC, or create your own. There's an adoption thread and a profiles thread in the Harry Potter forum. :3 I don't think there'd be an issue involving canon characters personally, but you should keep in mind Diagon Ally isn't set up well yet.The students who'd be returning would have been 1-2 years at the last book, or Vets from the war against Voldemort. We've got a Teacher, two auror's I believe, and a dragon specialist. You've got your pick if you think you can RP as a canon character.
