OHMYGOD.
WHERE TO ******** BEGIN THE BEST DAY OF MY ENTIRE LIFE?
OH IT WAS SO AMAZING.
AND BRITT CAN BACK ME UP ON THAT ONE.
<333333333
So it was bring your child to work day so I was with my dad. But completely distracted. Even though I was surrounded by millions of computers.
Because right after my dad got off from work (5pm), my mom would drive me to Toronto.
To what?
THE MCR SIGNING AT 333 YONGE STREET.
And who else would be there but
BRITTANY GLEN.
One of the most amazing people who is part of the awesome Aiden Family. <333
So my mom gets into a delay at home and we don't leave till 5:45.
gonk And on the way we get caught in traffic.
gonk gonk So about half an hour away from 333 Yonge St. I call Britt to tell her I'll prolly be late.
She goes, 'You might not get a wristband anymore! I'm fighting for yours though.'
so I get realy nervous and jumpy.
We get there and my mom pretty much shoves me out of the car.
I was on the phone with Britt at the time, and I was scrambling to get all my s**t together and get out of the car while looking for Britt and talking to her.
So I'm out, and I see a strangely familiar girl on the other side of the street.
'Twas all such a mess, I only remember runing across the street and hugging the ******** life out of Britt.
That was literally the happiest moment of my life.
We finish hugging (well, the main part), and walk to her spot in line. She introduces me to friends and her sister, and then we take off to find the security guard she was trying to convince. We don't find him but we wfind to others, who both said the same thing: 'All the wristbands are gone.'
So I was sad and such, but determined to at least try to get in. If not, that's okay, MCR would've only been the icing on the cake.
So we're sitting in line (it's about 7:30) waiting for 9pm to come. We get stickers, buttons, chat with each other, take pictures, do a whole bunch of s**t to pass time and stay warm.
About quarter to 9, these MCRmy members come around with hiking backpacks on thier backs.
And on the back of the backpacks is a TV.
Playing Welcome To The Black Parade.
So a mini sing along starts.
And then the line moves.
So we're all excited cause the line's moving.
WE'RE GETTING CLOSER TO MCR YO.
So now we're standing, still freezing.
I find out Britt's sister is a huge soccer fan like myself, so we get started talking about soccer while Britt texts Ty && Chels.
After another about hour of so of waiting, the security guy comes along the line asking for wristbands.
He comes to me && Britt && her sister and I go, 'I was at Take Your Kids to Work day till 6:30 and didn't get here in time.' He doesn't look like he heard me- he doesn't react at all.
I TRICKED HIM AND AM ONE STEP CLOSER TO MCR.
So themaybe anbother five minutes later we're FINALLY in HMV.
Now we just need to work out way over to where MCR was.
So we're looking at the CDs while we're in line.
We're getting more nervous by the second.
Then comes another wristband check.
I pretend to be looking for it, but then admit that I don't have one cause I was at TYKtW Day. He just pushes me and Britt ((Who was in front of me)) foreward.
This time, I KNEW I was going to make it.
heart So we're still waiting.
Then.
We can see them.
((Well sorta))
We start like freaking out.
I'm on the brink of a breakdown.
I mean who wouldn't be?
6 people who helped save my life pretty much in one day.
So then we reach a security guard who's like 2 meters from the table.
And we can see them fully.
The order was:: Ray, Bob, Frank, Mikey, Gerard.
I freak out.
He goes, 'Only one item to sign?' I nod, hold up my album, and he pushes me foreward.
I go up to Ray.
I hand him the booklet.
He goes, 'Hi, what's your name?'
I go, 'Carla.'
'How do you spell that?'
'C-A-R-L-A.'
I hand him a Reese's, since I brought one for each of them. (No money left, Halloween one day before, what would you do?)
The goes, 'Hey, thanks!'
I move onto Bob. ((I'm too flustered to say, 'You're welcome.))
I hand him his Reese's (Ray slid the booklet over to him.)
He goes, 'Hey, awesome!' and gives me a high five.
whee (Bob has a rad signature btw.)
Then I move to Frank. I hand him his candy apple and say, 'Happy belated birthday!' (He gets summat bigger cause of that.)
He goes, 'Candy apple!' and smiles and shakes me hand and signs. I think he says something like 'I love candy apples!' to Bob.
Next is Mikey. I give him his Reese's, and he shakes my hand and says, 'Thanks!'
((Note about the hand shakes: I'm a flustered loser and had all my s**t in my right hand and so I shook their hand with my left. >.>))
I notice next to him is Gerard, leaning on his hand looking dead.
I go, 'You look bored, Gerard.'
Really mumbly, he says, 'Naw, I'm just really tired.'
Then I give him his Reese's, and Mikey gives him the booklet, and he signs and says, 'Thanks,' still sounding really tired. I don' blame him, just the night before he was all the way in LA doing a show.
Jetlagmuch?
Anyway, so now I'm through them all.
And that's when I really break down.
This lady with a pair of scissors asks me for my wristband so she can cut it off, and I shake my head and she's like, 'Oh, you don't have one either.'
I wait behind her for Britt, who's nervously showing Gerard her art, and Britt's sister.
When Britt comes through we're both shaking and going, 'OhmygodOhmygodOhmygod' ovr and over again.
We stand there and hug each other more and just silently go over what just happened.
It was just…wow.
I can't even describe it.
We go outside slowing talking about every little detail.
And how stupid it was that you couldn't take any pictures of MCR.
Then Britt's dad pulls up and we say goodbye.
And I find my mom.
And we go home.
((This is around 11pm.))
And I get home at like 1:30 and just collapse on my bed.
Extremely happy.
