  "I am who I made myself be..."Faith awoke with a start. Eternity was gone from her side on the bed. Faith looked out the window, seeing the sun's faintly rise in the distance and sighed. Eternity always had woke to the sun, as though in tune with it. Faith shook her head a slipped out of the young girl's bed and made her way back to her own room. Markus and Bella were gone from there, likely having gone to bed during the hours Faith had been with Eternity sleeping. She sat down on the edge of her bed and placed her face in her hands. This was all going to hell it seemed. Eternity relaxed, the feel of water around her soothing her troubled mind. The pool was quiet and still in the fading darkness of early morning. She didn't know what to do anymore. All her plans were crumbling down around her. She had to think carefully about her next move. She had to put distance between Markus and her mother...didn't she? She sat up, still floating ontop of the water like a lily. That was it! She would write to Adrian all that was going on, her father would become jealous and break free of that terrible man to reclaim his family! She smiled at the thought, but then flopped back in defeat, knowing that her father really would kill Markus if she did that. She sighed and let herself sink into the water, laying on the cold bottom of the pool. This was getting difficult. "..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

Markus opened his eyes the next morning and looked down at Bella as she had her hands clinging to his long mane. He smiled softly and gently slipped his hair out of her hand and tucked her into the bed. He kissed the top of her head and stroked her ear gently, "Sleep tight little sister..." He whispered and walked out of his room still in his wolf form. Markus then quietly made his way down the hall and towards' faith's room. He gently nudged the door open and looked down at her with her face in her hands. Markus slowly walked into the room and knelt before her. "Faith..." He whispered and placed his large head in her lap.

"I am who I made myself be..."Faith looked down at Markus as she felt him slip his head onto her lap, "I don't know what to do Markus..." She said, sounding drained, "Eternity...I don't know, she isn't acting like herself...not really..." She stroked his fur lightly, "I don't know how to make things ok again for her...""..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

Markus gently licked Faith's cheek and nuzzled her. "I think all we can do now is just stay calm and pray that all will work out... She's been in hell for a while Faith..." He said softly and looked into her eyes, "Places can change people..."

"I am who I made myself be..."Faith nodded and wrapped her arms around his head, holding him close to her chest, "I hope she'll be ok...I can only hope Adrian hadn't let her witness anything too horrible...""..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

"I think you need to just let her understand that you still love her and you always will... Reassur her and let her know that me and Bella will care for her aswell..." Markus moved even closer to her and licked her cheek getnly. "And as fo what she witnessed... Hell is filled with horror and pain. There is no escapping horrors of hell... No one is innocent when they escape hell. No one is the same leaving a place like that."

"I am who I made myself be..."Faith shook her head and buried her face in his shoulder, holding back tears, "My poor little girl..." She squeezed him, her heart gripped in pain. "I'll do what I can...but this is so hard..." She pulled away and wiped her eyes, "What about Bella, was she ok after I left?""..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

Markus folded his ears back and gently shook his head. "She fears you're daughter... She doesn't feel safe anymore..." Markus said softly as he looked up into her eyes. He moved onto the bed and curled his body around her and returned his head to her lap.

"I am who I made myself be..."Faith rubbed her temples, "Alright...that's not good at all..." She looked down at him, "I'll talk to Eternity first...then assure Bella things are taken care of and all better.""..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

Markus let out a soft whimper of concern and licked her cheek. "Alright... But Faith, if you're daughter does anything to hurt Bella I don't know what I'll do..." He said looking up into her eyes as he nuzzled her stomach and thighs.

Markus nodded and pulled her into his arms. He gently craddled her in his arms and licked her neck, cheek and collar bone lovingly hoping to sooth her. "I'm sorry... I shouldn't have said those things..."

Markus let out a soft whimper of appologiy and nuzzled her gently, "I'm sorry..." He looked up into her eyes and folded his ears back. He knew from the moment he saw Eternity that she was strong... He just never trully expected her to be like this. Markus closed his eyes and sighed trying to gather all this information and sort through it in order to make his next move...

"I am who I made myself be..."Faith nodded, "It's alright." There was a sudden crash down the hall. A strange shadow slipped out of view next to a broken vase near Bella's door. Faith's eyes widened as she jumped, "What was that??""..and now I'm making you bow down to me."
