A few tweaks of the intensity of the scan revealed large areas of dense heat sorces. "Hey, Koko, you might wanna see this..." Zed tuned on the monitor that was in the crews quarters so Koko could see. "What do you think it could be?"

Koko looked up at the monitor & tilted her head slightly, frowning at the heat scores. "Hmmm... I'm not sure, maybe it's..." Suddenly her eyes changed again, though only subtly & her voice became deadpan once more. "The people are awake perhaps? They might not be able to pilot the ship, so it is drifting." She looked up at the camera in the room, where Zed would be able to see her face & smiled. Though it wasn't warm, rather, more creepy. "I think we should go see, they might want help."

The computer had finished linking to the sleeper ship. "well... looks like... damn! the computer just cut out on me... must be a shoddy connection... we might have to go in and manually access it..."
Zed leant back in his seat and sighed.

Koko was now in the cockpit, having moved at impossible speeds through the ship. "Let's go then, shall we? There is not much point wasting time here when there's something to explore. Right?" She now had her two handguns with her, as well as her semi-automatic rifle; as well as having clipped some ammunition to her belt & slung more over her back & chest. She still had slightly abnormal eyes & her voice was monotone, despite the smile on her face.

Zed pointed to one of the screens, that showed the heat signatures. "It's too hot to be human, and too large... Anyway we'll just need to find somewhere to create a wired connection from here to the sleeper's computer...that shouldn't be too hard... We'll need to do a short spacewalk while we cut our way in."

Koko nodded slightly, putting one hand on her hip. "Well then, I'll let you lead the way, afterall I've never done this before." Tilting her head a bit, she made another smile, "I wonder what we'll find on the ship, it seems.... interesting."

"Hmm...well, it should of passed through here long ago, so it's probably been slowed down or something, it's hull is absolutely spotless, it's full of unknown heat-sources and it's computer systems are messed up... I don't see how anything could possibly go wrong."
Zed grinned then headed for the cargobay to put on his spacesuit.

Koko began following Zed, still grinning. After a while though, she stopped & blinked, tilting her head. Huh...? Looking around, she noticed how the pilot was headed for the cargo bay. She also went there, not realising the pain in her leg had gone for the moment, & spotted him putting on a space suit. Oh, I guess we're going on the ship? Huh, ok then... if he thinks we should... Without saying a word, she grabbed another suit & pulled it on, only now noticing she had her guns with her.

Zed put on his helmet and looked at Koko through the visor. She stopped grinning... hmm...
He waited for Koko to finish putting her spacesuit on before heading to the airlock.
"We'll need the Aiolos' linkup cable..."
Zed pulled a rather feeble-looking USB extention lead from a hole in the wall.

After putting on her spacesuit, Koko followed Zed to the airlock. She then looked at the cable & raised her eyebrow. "A bit ummm.... feeble isn't it? What if something were to hit it?" She sighed & put one hand on her hip, wondering for a moment what on Earth they were doing.

"Either this or a 5 inch thick Ambilical connector cable, and i know which i'd rather lug through a ship..." Zed shook his head and sighed. "Who am I kiddin', that thing is crawling with who-knows-what... I'm not gunna just walk in there... though, i s'pose you'd like a short spacewalk... I'll send a remote robot thing in there to look around, we just gotta cut the hole in the hull for it to enter through." He took the fusion cutter from it's holder on the wall and attached it to his spacesuit with a bit of string.

Koko made a small smile & nodded, "Right, got it." Taking a small step back, she waited for Zed to exit the ship; there was a small pressure at the back of her head again, but she shook it off.

They both entered the airlock and the inside door closed behind them. Zed attached ambilical cables to the back of his and Koko's spacesuit then hit a button. A red light pulsed and a screen showed the word 'Depressurising' and a few figures showing the atmospheric pressure inside and outside the ship. 20 seconds passed before the outer door opened, through which Zed and Koko walked. The cold emptyness of space sent shivers down their spines as they touched down on the surface of the sleeper ship. Zed spoke over his helmet's microphone to Koko. "You have some fun, I'm gunna get to work... Watch your temperature and O2 supply, they should be displayed on your suit's HUD... Oh, and don't jump off the ship, cause it's a pain in the a** pulling yourself back on the ambilical."

Koko nodded slightly & began making her way along the side of the sleeper ship, simply exploring. Without warning, there was a sharp p***k in the back of her skull that caused her to cringe in pain & kneel slightly. She was about to speak to Zed when she stopped & stood up straight. With purposeful strides, she made her way over to the sleeper ship's maintenance hatch. After pressing a small button on the side the hatch it opened & she drifted inside. Just before it closed again, she radioed over to the pilot. "Goodbye...."
After a few moments, the small room she was now in stabalised the pressure & she was able to enter the main part of the ship through an airlock. After a few more seconds a message appeared on a screen to her left, saying that the oxygen levels were stable. She removed her helmet & looked around; her eyes had dulled & her face was deadpan. Even though her motion tracker was showing vast numbers of hostile movement she seemed to ignore it.

Zed turned as Koko spoke, only to watch as the hatch colsed behind her, severing her umbilical connection to the Aiolos. He quickly ran over to the hatch, but it wouldn't open, so he tured on a small scanning device on the wrist of the spacesuit that x-rayed the outer hull of the sleeper ship and located a safe point of entry.
The sleeper-ship's air supply is only pumped to the areas where it is needed, otherwise it would quickly be used up. Zed took his railgun and fired at the sleeper ship's hull, blowing a small hole into an airless corridor in the ship.
He floated into the corridor with his gun ready, watching his motion tracker.
