After Renka wandered around he finally got to the house Hana and the others were hiding at, but walked past it and headed between other houses and sneaked in through a back window. He calmly walked to the room he heard voices from, "..I scouted out the execution site..it'll be guarded pretty well, but civilians can get close enough. Anyone with good aim could free Aki." he said as he glanced around for his scythe. Sei was dozing away in her room, she'd told the innkeeper to wake her half an hour before the execution...though she should have been keeping watch..if she did she would have seen her brother.

"Relax. We can come up with a plan and save him." Bjorn said confidently. "You're not useless, either." he said. He gave her one of his rare smiles and patted her on the arm, then sat down on in a chair again.

Hana took a deep breath and tried to relax. She wouldn't be of much help if she was panicking. She'd need a clear mind to help come up with a plan. Then, almost as soon as she relaxed, she got an idea. "Hey, I think I know what we can do," she said.

"See? It's easier when you relax." Bjorn teased. He sat up a little. "What is your idea?" he asked, knowing it was probably going to work...or at least, somewhat work.

James, after his mother stopped hugging him and after he told his family that he should help make the plan, walked into the room just as Hana said she had an idea. "What is it?" he asked. "Renka said that civilians could get close to the execution, right? Well, Bjorn, Renka, Selina, and I can blend in with the crowd that is sure to come with the proposed execution of the Faren prince. James can hide in a tree or on a building with his crossbow, in a place where he has a good view of Aki. Since the execution will most likely be a hanging, James can shoot the rope above Aki's head. Then the four of us will leap into action. You three get Aki out of there. I'll hold them off and follow as soon as you all get him to safety," Hana said. James was surprised that Hana's plan revolved almost entirely around his accuracy. What if he missed the rope? What if he accidentally hit Aki? What if he missed Aki and the rope entirely? "But Hana-" he started protesting. Hana quickly guessed why he was protesting and interrupted. "James, I know you can do it. You've always hit your targets before. You've never missed. But, even if you missed, I'm sure you wouldn't hit Aki. And, if you did miss, I'll be prepared. I'll keep a knife with me and cut the ropes when I get up there, or one of the others will. We can do this. We cannot fail. Too much is riding on this," she said.

Bjorn looked at Hana and nodded. The plan sounded risky, but at least sound and would work if preformed perfectly. He looked at James. "Aim high." he said. "As close to the knot as possible...the knot holding it to the post, not to Aki's neck. That way, if you miss or the bolt goes too low, it will still hit the rope, and not the Prince." he said.

"But why me? Why give me this part?" James asked. Why would she give him the role? He didn't have the training they all did. He was just a young boy from a small village with self-taught crossbow skills. He wasn't fit to be leading up any mission, especially such an important one as this. Hana gave him a smile. "Because I know you won't let us down. I've seen you in action. You are better than you give yourself credit for. I know you will be able to do it," she told him. "And if you're concerned about training, don't worry about it. You are a better marksman than many I have seen in the army."

"Also, you are the only one here besides Hana trained in long range combat...making you the best choice for taking the shot." Bjorn pointed out. He could maybe throw an axe or something, but he would probably miss, and at the range he'd need to throw, might as well have simply charged in.

James was silent for a while. He still wasn't sure if he would be successful, but wasn't going to protest anymore. Bjorn did have a point, after all, and Hana wasn't going to be able to do the role assigned to him. She was needed to aid in getting Aki away safely. When Hana noticed that James wasn't going to argue anymore, she looked at the others. "This will be the most vital mission we'll ever have. If we fail, Aki will die, and Faren with him. But if we succeed, the citizens will again have the hope of their country being restored. We must succeed at all costs."

Renka silently listened to the others as he retrieved his scythe and clutched the shift tightly, getting another idea just in case James did miss. "...I won't be hiding in the crowd..but I promise to be nearby.." he said simply as he cleaned the blade out of habit. As requested the innkeeper woke Sei at her requested time so she could freshen up before she went out.

Bjorn looked at Hana and nodded. This was going to be an extremely important mission. He ran over other scenarios in his mind, like a change of method, or perhaps guards around Aki, or in the crowd...it still all seemed to hinge on James getting in a shot as a distraction, to give them all a chance at doing...whatever they needed to do.

James thought for a moment before suddenly remembering something. "I think we may end up receiving some unexpected help in this mission," he said suddenly.
((Bleh, I'm too lazy right now to make this longer. XD))
