Kahlan_BrightBlade That's cool. I might try looking those up if it doesn't seem to be coming out here anytime soon. I like to get my fiance to watch the anime with me and we don't really have a good set up to watch it on the computer. As much money as Viz is making on all of their Shojo Beat titles I'm sure it won't be long before it comes out here. 3nodding Yeah, but I don't want to see how they'd butcher the english dub. I hope host club never comes out as a dub. Subbed yes but never dubbed. they'd ruin itLike viz ruins everything.

As for the whole dub vs sub argument, I personally prefer subbed, but if I'm with someone who prefers dubbed I'll watch it (unless it has Richard Cox, I really can't stand him). Yes, Viz does manage tor ruin everything. I used to get really angry about it until I found out that the Japanese creators approve all of the voice actors. Now I just think the voice actors suck, but I'm not going to get angry about the artistic integrity of the show being in danger: if the artist chose it, it's his/her own fault if it sucks, but it is still technically true to his/her vision. Then again, I'm not a huge fan of anime in general, they tend to butcher the story from the original manga.
As for manga I have read lately... lots. I tried some new (to me) titles, but I can't say I was too impressed by them yet. I did read Boys Over Flowers Vol 20, though, which was really good. 3nodding

The manga is really good, the anime is okay, but a little... low budget (80's like animation). The story line is okay for the anime, but I certainly prefer the manga. My theory is that as far as the manga vs anime argument goes, manga tends to be best for shoujo and anime tends to be best for shounen. Not to say that either of these is bad in either form, and there are always exceptions, but it just seems that the more action oriented shows do better in anime while the more emotional do better in manga.
