Arson looked back at Ayame with something of an apologetic look in his eye. "Did I offend you?" he asked softly, warily. When she changed the subject, Arson's mood did not lighten, but he did his best to fake it. "Sometimes. Only when Ivy felt like doing something that would get her a face-full of horse shoe." he replied easily.

Redemtion looked up but didnt really have an expression on his face. "No." he responded and then went back to checking the wound

Sighing, Ayame shook her head, and hunched her shoulders slightly. "No, you didn't offend me." She said softly, glaring at the ground. She was silent for a few minutes before her blunt nature kicked in, and she, yet again, asked the question she had been trying to hold back. "Why are you being so nice to me?" She asked, spinning to face Arson. She didn't want to break the easy mood that had sprung up between them, but then again, Ayame had already done that, and destroying things was one of the few talents that Ayame had. "Look, I'm sorry for being such a b*tch." She said. "I'm just really out of sorts right now, and I'm taking it out on you because you're being nice to me. But...I really am glad that you're taking to me, and spending time with me." Ayame bit her lip, and looked away, her hair creating a curtain between her and Arson. "I really like you Arson." She muttered.

Arson felt somewhat relieved when he heard Ayame speak again. He shrugged at her question. "I guess I'm just a naturally nice person." he said, shoulders somewhat slumped. He furrowed his brows at Ayame, but then smiled. She was so much like Myka and Ivy, but combined! Short tempered, and somehow slow to apologize, leading mixed signals... He sighed softly. "You're not being a b***h, you're being yourself. I think there's a difference." he said kindly. When the last few words came from the blonde girl's mouth, Arson's smile slithered somewhat from his face. Ayame liked him? Well, he was thrown for a loop. He thought that the pretty blonde girl hated him! But then, understanding washed him as he reached forward to move aside locks of golden hair. "Good, because the feeling is mutual." he said kindly.

"I grown up being hunted down by monsters let alone humans for what i've done. Yea i think i can manage myself." he said finishing up and let go of the bandages around him.

Sonia rolled her eyes and scoffed, letting the hood of her jacket fall around her neck in a mottled black heap. "And so have the rest of us. But head injuries bleed more than others and have a high likliehood of getting infected. Quit playing soldier and go get it checked out." the stubborn blonde girl replied flippantly.

"Yea and last time i checked my 'supposed' mom is dead." he said and cleaned off his kunia. "I just arrived here so you cant expect me to even know where the medbay is. So quit acting like someone your not"

Ayame's cheeks flushed crimson red, though whether from shame at treating Arson like she was, or from him touching her cheek was hard to say. Leaning forward, Ayame brushed her lips across Arson's cheek, letting her hair tickle his neck. "That's good to know." She whispered in his ear before stepping away, the smile on her face for once not mean or sarcastic, but actually sweet. She laughed slightly, and twisted a stand of hair around her finger. "Sadly, my true self is a bit of a b*tch." Ayame admitted. She glanced at Arson, squinting her eyes slightly because of the bright light. "Quick, say something before things get awkward!" She chided herself, casting around desperately for a topic. "So, are you going to go see these fabled winged horses, or not?" Ayame asked cheerfully, a hint of pink still gracing her cheeks.

Arson only blinked when Ayame kissed his cheek. Well, that was new, too. He only smiled and leaned down to her ear, letting his warmth breath tickle it's shell. "It's something I'll get used to." he replied, responding to her 'b***h' comment. He nodded and continued forwar.d "Let's go then."
-exittt- -- Hands balling into fists in her pockets, Sonia strained to keep her temper in check. "First off, you have no clue who I am, so how the hell can you be sure I'm being someone I'm not. I was perfectly willing to show you to the infirmary, if you'd stop acting like some kind of pompous brat. I don't know who you are, I"m just trying to make sure someone doesn't get sick. I'm sorry my worry fell on deaf ears." she said, a scowl curling onto her face before she turned and started outside.

"That part is none of your buisness." he smirked at her. He already explained he didnt know her but its easy to know when someone is acting like someone else. Her looking out for everyone proves she was trying to act like a mom or shaparoun to a feildtrip.

Sonia's hands unclenched in her pockets. She could respect that. Maybe this guy wasn't a complete a**. ... Maybe. "I can respect that." she said, voicing her thoughts easily. In all honesty, she really wasn't trying to act like a chaperone or anyone's Mom. Hell, she didn't even want to act like her own Mom. The blonde girl shuddered slightly before a sigh escaped her lips. That was just the way she was. When she saw someone with a bleeding gash on their head, she naturally wanted to help. When she saw someone crying, she naturally wanted to help. The monks in Thailand said this was a beautiful aspect of her personality.

Ayame flushed with happiness, and twisted her hair tightly around her finger. "Okay, so maybe I can get used to this." She thought before biting her lip, and following after Arson, the sunlight turning her hair to liquid gold.
