Kazuki Habaragi Kazuki awoke and looked around. It was already mid morning and he cursed himself for being so tired. He got up, brushed himself off and ate his breakfast. He re tied his headband to his right arm and took a deep breath. He began to sprint in the direction of the Land of the Wind. He was glad he had made it to the border of the Land of Fire but he still had to travel across it and then once he got to the Wind country he'd have to find the exams spot in the desert. Great

Kazuki Habaragi Kazuki's legs were really sore from being used too much and he struggled for the first ten miles of running. After that his legs felt better and Kazuki smiled. His hard training had paid off. Now he felt like he could run for days. Four hours later, Kazuki left the Land of Fire and noticed the land getting warmer and more dry. Vegetation soon disappeared and Kazuki sped onto the desert. Now he had to find this place. Shouldn't be too hard for a sensor like himself. By this time, he thought, a bunch of other genin will be there so this should be cake.

 There was a rustle in the bushes near Yukai followed by the smell of blood. Suddenly a ninja tumbled out! It was one of the three shinobi that had camped out in the forests of the Land of Lightning shortly before the attack on Cloud.
She sheepishly picked herself off the ground and gathered up the dead rabbit she had been carrying. Her already heavily-scarred face was bleeding pretty bad. It was any wonder how she managed to do that while hunting a rabbit.
All of a sudden, the ninja perked up and finally noticed Yukai's presence. "Ah--Ahn... Sorry... Jus' passin' through..." she mumbled, backing away from the Cloud-nin while clutching her future meal. She paused as she remembered something.
"A-Ano... may I ask fer yer name... miss..?"
Considering how obvious it was this ninja wasn't from Kumogakure (she was wearing the wrong-colored flak jacket) her behavior was obviously suspicious. She kept moving her arm so the glare of light off the metal forehead protector plate sewn to her sleeve kept the symbol hidden. On the other hand, she couldn't have been much older than Yukai...

Protect everyone... ♫ Yukai Okaeshi ♫ *rustle rustle* followed by the HORRIBLE smell of blood, gawd Yukai HATED the smell of blood, it stunk like metal!
she tried not to throw up there and then, and she almost did seeing how the bush then gave birth to a fecking NINJA!?!
ok either a bush just spat out a ninja or i'm trippin' balls...
she cocked an eye-brow at the bleeding ninja, really how in the hell can a rabbit do that much damage! or maybe it was like a super rabbit, maybe it had a little cape and everything! maybe it---
SHUT THE ******** UP! her mind gave her a mental slap.
this ninja didnt LOOK like a threat, but she put her hand near her scrolls just in case she did attack.
if you really wanna know, my name is Yukai Okaeshi... she said with an almost sigh. And look cool doing it...

The ninja blinked, wiped some of the blood away from her eye with a long sleeve and then blinked again. She seemed surprised by something.
"That was... easy..."
She put the rabbit carcass down near the base of a tree and returned to her position standing before Yukai.
"My name's Haruka," she bowed politely, "An' I'm here ta assassinate ya in the name of the Village Hidden in the Snow."
She slid one foot behind the other and crouched down slightly. Her hands were poised in front of her torso, prepared to either block or create hand signs. She looked across the clearing to Yukai with wide, relaxed eyes, as though she'd merely asked for the time and was now waiting for a response.
"Ain't nothin' personal. This's just 'bout ya'll stealin' our secrets regardin' Ice Release."

Time is running out... ♫ Yukai Okaeshi ♫ well she was hoping to die in dignity, it appears now shes gonna get destroyed by some stranger! ah the joys of being a ninja...
well, the only explanation i could give is that someone from my clan before i was born stole your 'ice release' thingymabob, becuase i was told that my ice release was genetic.
however... she said as she stood up slowly, a serious look on her face. as much as i don't really live for anything anymore, i suppose i better give you a run for your money... she then threw her scroll on the ground, summoning the ice. ice summon... Time to say goodbye...

The exact hand signs couldn't be made out beneath her sleeves, but that was definitely a jutsu Hakura was using.
"Blood Manipulation Jutsu..."
The brownish blood that had begun to dry to Haruka's face cracked and flaked from her skin and clothing, falling like snowflakes while turning a brilliant red again as they swirled around her hands. It didn't really look like much, and it wasn't, but the girl was obviously just getting started. Droplets of blood glittered in the sunlight, and then disappeared.
Haruka had charged forward in a zig-zagging motion towards Yukai while trying to avoid the ice. The droplets stayed close to her hands.

I may be blind  Seo Himine
Seo was upset when he was told he needed more clues but was happy when the Kazekage told him the village of stones was the closest village that he hadn't visited yet. He hoped that the advise he was given would help him because in the final day he really needed as much help as he could get.
Seo moved over the sand with the determination of a Kid who dreamed of becomming a kage. He crosed the desert and made it into the trees where he dashed along the ground with amazing speeds. it almost seemed as if he weren't human.

Seo jumped into the trees to maximize his speed. He was making good time and would be there soon. The Kazekage was a really nice guy, well at least in Seo's eyes... So to speak. He placed his hands down on the tree limb ahead of him as a guide letting his legs follow to the same branch. As he pushed off with all the strength he began to glide through the air. As he landed the cycle repeated itself. with him landing on his hands and pushing off with his legs. He looked almost like a wolf chasing its prey. He was moving so fast he should have passed into earth country it shouldn't be too long now.

Seo slipped through the branches and landed back on the ground. He ran along the forrest flore until the trees faded and the ground became rocky and dry. He had made it into Iwagakure. He ran through the gate hoping to find any jonin that could possibly give him clues.

Time is running out... ♫ Yukai Okaeshi ♫ yeah i can appreciate being killed for something i never ******** did! her mind grumbled to its self...
from what it looks like she uses blood, therefore she must run out of it eventually, so i just gotta tire her out!
she watched as Haruka zig zagged towards her, if she didnt act fast, she would be dead before she could even do anything! if she was gonna go, she wanted to go with a bang at least!
ice sheild...
the ice sheild raised from the ground between the blonde and the white-haired female. Yukai did this so then unless she has quick reactions, the girl would run right through it, right into Yukai's fist, and hopefully get a few cuts from the shards in the process... Time to say goodbye...

Haruka's good eye widened as the ice shield shot up in front of her. She was going too fast to stop and she was too close to turn and--
And she skidded out on some stray ice, which sent her diving straight through the thin wall, which shattered on impact, littering her body with frozen shrapnel.
Wiping out before reaching the wall caused her to fly beneath Yukai's fist and hit the ground a couple feet behind her, skidding out in an impressive face plant. She shakily peeled herself off the ground.
"Uuwah..."
"Uuwah" was hardly the sentiment of someone bleeding as badly as she was, but Haruka was taking it as if she'd just bumped her knee. Her face, jacket and sleeves were torn to shreds with deep cuts from the ice and she was dripping blood.
However, all Haruka had to do was make a hand sign and the blood stopped oozing freely and started flowing through the air around her wrists, glinting like blades.
The blood that had hit the ground stayed where it had fallen, though, proving the girl had an extremely short range of control over the medium. She compensated this with a high pain threshold as she used her own klutziness to her advantage. She'd be dangerous in close-combat.
Haruka knew this too as she made another lunge for Yukai, flicking her wrist to use the collected blood as short, makeshift sword gauntlet.

daggers are for close combat, Yukai had made a terrible mistake...
a terrible mistake...
she could not control the blood anymore, so she must have a short range, so all i gotta do is make sure shes as far away from any blood as possible.
Yukai hopped out the way of the lunge, shoving her fists into her block of ice. ice armor, the ice seemed to creep up her hands, glistening in the light.
Time to get serious... Time to say goodbye...

Haruka flung her arm to the side, blood acting like a whip before solidifying again. It was a plyable blade.
While most ninja would have leaped back to prepare a counter-attack, Haruka turned sharply and continued her frontal assault. She was made to take damage and keep dishing it out. Backing down in any way was both useless and foreign to her.
Blood flowed around both wrists, lashing out with each swing and jab. Though their maximum range was less than a meter, it still made each punch twice as deadly.
She was trying to end the fight as quickly as possible; before Yukai could activate her armor, which would obviously make Haruka's taijutsu less effective.

Time is running out... ♫ Yukai Okaeshi ♫ she yanked her hands out the ice, and proceeded to run full force at Haruka, both arms aiming for her face.
she didnt want to fight, she really didnt, but it was the only way to stay alive, even if she couldnt be arsed with life sometimes.
if i die, i wonder if people will bury me if they find my body...? Time to say goodbye...
