I have the guild powers to do that, but I probably won't touch the list. I feel uneasy about that (I'm not the Captain of this guild after all), and that list as it is could potentially be a good source for re-recruitment, once the admins finally implement a guild-wide PM ability for crew and captains. sweatdrop

Mister Decker failed to write out a Standard Equipment post for the Marine Personnel, so I just used something I know the GNG has... sweatdrop

That's one thing I am planning on accomplishing with The Watch's formation is a list of equipment, a list of what is standardly issued, and a list of what is stored in case we need replacements. Also, a list of what is available by rank. (For example, armored vehicle use is restricted to Corporals and above, while Power Armor is restricted to Sergeants and above.)

Nathan: The hell you mean I need to be a corporal to have a damned armored vehicle? I wanna tool around town in my military jeep, dammit!

Whee. So, Miss Ai Leen, if you're going to be around for a while, I'll continue posting so you have something to do/watch/interfere with. 3nodding

My fictional ripoff of an iPhone from Apple. 3nodding Using the j allows me to communicate the idea of the iPhone, without committing to its system specs. wink
I'll be around for a little bit more, not sure I'll be on all night though. I'm running on 5 hours sleep biggrin

Mr. Highwind, which do you think would be a better knife for The Watch? The Emerson CQC7, or the Emerson Commander? Having trouble deciding. 3nodding
EDIT: Or maybe the SARK?

Personally my preference would go with a classic design, like the K-bar or the Trench Knife.
I prefer the Trench Knife, if only for uniqueness.

hehe, you really like the old ones. xd
The Navy recently replaced the Ka-Bar with the SARK (hence the edit), but the Commander is a production version of what the west coast SEALs currently use.
I really like the Emerson Wave feature, so I'm thinking it'll probably be one of these two. Leaning towards the SARK since that'll give Marines a better weapon to look foward to. sweatdrop

Heh, the Ka-bar and trench knife can still gut a man as easily as any new knife. wink
Heh. But I doubt it'll matter, too much. I like knife fighting. I do. My first Gaian character was a knife fighter. (And what a knife fighter. He had an epic duel with Opaj where he ended up going through over a dozen different knives)
But most likely I'll just shoot someone with a pistol. Or if it was a stealth kill situation, the type of knife hardly would matter, just my ability to sneak up on someone.
You know, I've been meaning to ask, but what sorta tech could I use with my marine? I mean... it is Gaia. I'm so used to mainstream Gaia, where I have to consider balance issues between swords and gun (And boy is that a rat's nest, I'd mark it with Politics and Religion as things you shouldn't talk about OOCily). So I'm used to Mainstream Gaia Military Tech either being future (Read: Mecha), or WWII (People tend to accept the limitations of something like a Garand or Mauser for balance issues easier than dealing with the guy that has an M16).
But I figure since most everyone here is playing with mecha, death rays, and super science anyway I shouldn't have to worry about choosing equipment for Balance Issues as much...
But it's something you really need to consider for your "Watch". Most people out there will probably have sword and sorcery, rather than Tech on their side. And while you do have the right from a realism standpoint to say "Okay, you charge me with your sword, I empty thirty rounds of caseless ceramic ammunition into you before you even get halfway to me"...
It isn't a cool thing to do. sweatdrop It can turn you into an a** real quick.

why not a katana? I have a katana next to my bed in the box it came it, hand crafted replica damasca steal (id like an authentic damaska steal katana but we are talking about swords atleast 400 or more years old).
and weh i have slowly been working on my character profile, you can look if yah want. ive been going and puting things in at a pace so i don't lose the hole thing like last time.
also ai leen that post you made with the link to the gaia thread about makeing character prokiles would actualy work better if you put it in the first post on the first page.
