In the Beginning There Was-Xenosaga II OSTBio: Azalie is a priestess of the wind temple. Her race almost got wiped out to the point of extinction due to the curse. Now she is happy to see other hippogryphs coming back to the valley, but still doesn't feel as she used to in the older days. However, she is welcoming of other ponies that aren't hippogryphs.
In fact recently she has taken in a pegasus pony. She tends to treat her like a daughter even though she knows that the pony is not hers. Azalie is training her on how to use certain spells however, she cannot teach her the old hippogryph magic. Nonetheless, this has helped Azalie break out of her staying in old ways.
