Fenrir's eyes narrowed in apparent irritation as Grathrym basically insulted his skills and comparing him with his older brother. He hated being compared to Plato, probably more than most things. However, for now, Fenrir was not given the time to give a retort to anything Grathrym had said to him just now. The human was speaking to the Devil Lord, which left Fenrir to stewing in his puddle of irritation. Grathrym's hand would be able to feel an uncommon amount of heat from Fenrir's skin underneath his hand. The demon's energy was as hot as flames right now and it was all Fenrir could do to keep himself under some semblance of control.

"Yes, My Lord." Fenrir replied, a small amount of anger rising barely into his tone. He was going to be an experiment now? Goddammit! That's not what Fenrir had signed up for at all!

"I want you to first clear the area before the test takes place. Then I want you to intiate the actual sheild. Then this is where you come in Fenrir. I want you to think of the most agitating thing in your head. Once the shield is up use your fire. I want you to shoot the flame in a consistent stream against the shield. Do you understand?"

What Vandor said about attacking in the night was moot if there was no "halfbreed army" such as the one Vandor was proposing. It wouldn't work if the halfbreeds wouldn't listen... Bagarth was mentally sighing to herself inside.

But before Vandor finished the sentence, Bagarth had heard wings. Noktal had arrived. She looked at the other Devil with a bored look on her face, which would most likely be telling enough on how she thought of the plan so far; it was lacking.

Vandor could answer Noktal's question. It was Vandor's idea after all.

Alaric continued to lead them to the area and he listened to what they where talking about and thought for a moment or two at this point in time. Eventually they came to the human base and they passed through the shield the demon lord set up without a problem. Alaric looked around and the area was clean and you could see the signs that humans lived her seeing as thing had already started to change to there liking. Soon enough Alaric took them to the testing area, the place was cleared from some distance around with the exception of a few bodies that now approached them. They were hidden in robes and few mechanical part could be seen coming from them, they said nothing but sent a message to Alaric.

Soon enough a pillar was set up and there was a simple icon that stood there, it was not overly large but it was the shield they were testing and then they would give him some equipment to use. "Your target will be that pillar there" Alaric said as he pointed towards it. He thought for a moment or two as he looked at them. "This is still in testing but it is a personal shield worn around the neck and should absorb most energy but its might not work most of the time however there is another option I will show you when this is done" he said as he waited for them. "Do you wish to start as shall we" Alaric asked as he looked at the two demons.

Fenrir rolled his eyes in response to the human's question. He folded his arms over his chest, shooting a small glare at the human. "What are you, some kind of fool? Of course I'm ready. I've been ready for the past five minutes..." he replied flatly, sounding a little annoyed with the human's dodgy approach to starting the testing of this shield thing.

Fenrir scoffed at the seemingly emotionless response he received from the human. Just like Plato. Well, not nearly as cold as his brother was. Plato was entirely different from this human. But that was a train of thought for another time.

Right now, Fenrir turned his attention to the pillar that stood a short distance away from him. Without a go-ahead from Grtathrym, which Fenrir did not think he needed anyway, the demon raised his right arm, palm of his hand facing the pillar and its icon. As he did so, he channeled his energy into that arm and a healthy-looking red flame stretched along Fenrir's left arm. It was simple task for him to do and didn't really take much energy to perform. For a non-moving target, Fenrir didn't really think he needed to use much energy anyway. This was going to be stupid. This pillar wasn't going to be a challenge at all.

After a few seconds of maintaining the flame encasing his arm, Fenrir's eyes narrowed briefly. Simultaneously, a stream of fire shot from his arm directly at the icon on the pillar.

((well, right now I would say it's above your average heat of an oven. lol. its coloration is a typical orange-y red color. The hottest flames are blue (that I know of anyway).))

"Of course it's holding." Fenrir stated flatly, that annoyance entering his tone once more. "The temperature is about the same as one of your human ovens baking a cake! I would assume you humans are capable of building something that withstands that!" The demon that flared up the temperature a bit. Now the flames were more yellowish with just a hint of blue here and there.
