"Which forest? What direction is it in?" he asked.
Come to think of it, where was the portal they were talking about?

Mika walked over to receptionist for the hotel. "Do you have a map?" She asked walking away when one was produced. "Here."

"I don't know," he admitted. "I was mostly wandering around, trying to be a mercenary, but everyone thinks I'm not cut out for it since I have angelic heritage."
Soren shrugged. "I suppose it can't be helped."

Felix slowly glided down, but just as he was about a few feet above ground, his wings disappeared and the couple fell. Felix landed on his feet and caught Eli in a somewhat romantic way, then grinned at him.
"Merr-sen-nair-ree?" Shoxie repeated, sounding obviously confused.

Eli felt relife when they were on the ground. He pushed Felix away landing on his feet. "Lets go find Mika." HE said ready to get his bounty.

"probably looking to either get back to the forest or get away." Eli said, looking at the first inns near him. "she is probably getting a map."

"Hm... don't you think that if they were gonna get a map, they would've done so last night and head home?" Felix asked. He then over heard a little girls talking to her friend.
"And then this wolf boy comes and saves me! He was so nice! He saved me and the innkeeper let me stay at the inn for a night." The girl said, pointing to a nearby inn.
"Hmm... I have a feeling Shoxie is over at that inn." Felix told Eli and started walking.

"Who is Shoxie?" Eli asked, curious. He followed Felix, hoping he would get there in time for mika.

"A boy that happened to hop in at just the right time when I opened that portal." Felix said, sounding somewhat irritated. He couldn't complain though, because at least it lead to him having alone time with Eli, so that was a plus. Felix opened the inn doors and looked at Shoxie, standing there talking to another guy. Mika was at the counter it seemed like she just got herself a map.
Felix caught Shoxie's attention. "Felix!" He shouted happily.

Eli watched Mika, reaching into his pockets. He wanted to be able to strike back if Mika recognized him. He waited for her to step away from anyone he wasnt being paid to kill.
Mika grinned. "Look Shoxie, Felix found us first." She looked at Eli, suprised that he was with Felix after hurting him.

[[ok then good. Shoxie wont do it unless Eli attacks mika though, so be prepared.]]
Felix turned into a dark mist that moved swiftly towards Mika and reverted back into his normal shape behind her. He reached into her pocket and got his journal back. "I'll take this." Felix said and turned back into a dark mist and moved back to Eli's side, where he changed back to normal.
