Pale saw that she could do no more, so she smiled a little at Rivven. He'd be ok now "Look, I'll check on you later, I'll be at Kas's right now." Aes had arranged for her to go there...she gave a wave to both of them and was gone.

Rivven takes a moment to remember if there'd been anything he'd might have forgotten because of his black out, absently running a hand along the ornate crest scarred into his forearm. "Well... first of all there's the hole through me..." He said, gesturing to the long but thin wound from when he'd been stabbed by the spearhead, that did in fact go most of the way from his front to his back, located just below his ribs. "...then there's... well, all the lacerations it feels like my back is covered with, and my feet are probably marked up a bit from all that running around in the woods. There's these little roughed up parts of my hands..." he said, holding one up and looking at the injury on his palm, where it looked as if a very thick, rather dull saw had been pulled across it once or twice. "Other than that my problem is mostly just exhaustion. I wore my chakra down to just about nothing, and had to use the last of it to defend myself, as I was already too tired to defend myself purely physichally. But I didn't pull it down so low as to kill myself, so I should just need rest for that." He sighed and laid a hand across his own forehead for a moment. "S-sir... what can you do for treating... w-well... old scars..." He put his hand down over the one on his forearm again, almost immediatly. A scar shaped after an ornate crest, with a gauntleted fist as it's center. There was also of course the one on his back, larger and more ornate, if that was possible, with a phoenix in its center. But neither could have had a thing to do with the visit to the clinic. Both were nine years old, but he couldn't wait to be rid of the damn brandings, if it was at all possible to remove them.

Always attentive to his patients, what caught his attention in this case was that the man said he used Chakra. Aes usually treated people using a ki system (with some notable exceptions of mana users). He cupped his hands over the hole, and formed a small barrier when he spoke. Aes thought he knew how to treat it, but temporarily this would serve better than bandages. When he was confidant that the barrier would hold, he took more traditional bandages, and began. It seemed easy enough, to treat these....however, there were the old scars "Do they cause you pain?" he inquired.

Rivven grimaced, not at the bandages or the touching of his wounds, but the scars. "Not physichal pain... but I'd like to get rid of them if I can. If you can do that... if that's not too much to ask... it's just... bad memories. That would be the simplest way to put it." He sat as still as he could, pretty still despite how tired he still was, and let the doctor attend to the wounds. The only thing he really needed was the large wound tended to, he could ignore the others until he was well enough to start dealing with them himself, but he didn't want to be rude, and it was probably best he not risk letting them get infected, and then tire himself out healing them as soon as he was well rested again.

He had finished bandaging them, putting the last over the fading remains of the barrier. 'It will be sore for quite some time, at least a full day if the spells hold. As for your scar, perhaps after you have finished your match I can remove it, as doing so right now would incapacitate you too much."
He walked over to his shelf and took down a medium-sized bottle full of a clear liquid "A pain repressant, should you need it."

"I shouldn't, but I'll keep it just in case. I recover rather more quickly than... what would be expected." Rivven said, taking the bottle from the man and tucking it into one of his pant pockets. He stood, unsteadily, and straightened himself, wiping a hand through his silvery white hair to put it back in place, not that it was ever combed, but he liked it to have a sort of a part to it, though white hair must have looked odd on a body that seemed to be between seventeen and eighteen, though Rivven was pretty sure he was older than that. Another thing he couldn't remember. Rivven bowed to the doctor, not deeply, but respectfully non-the-less. "Thank you very kindly sir. I owe you all much for the help you've given me." He straightened and looked around once more, trying to get a feel for direction, so he could go and find his clothes and weapons, before he left. "I thought I was just a guest here when I asked for refuge, but it seems you all consider me one of you now. I'm very appreciative... h-however... I should speak to someone with some sort of authority or such here... I don't know, you can all probably defend yourselves it seems, but t-there's something I should warn someone about..." He uncomfortably forced himself to let the words out, putting an arm over the scar on his right forearm as he spoke. He wanted to forget about his old masters, be free of them. But if these people would be in danger, he needed to warn them, especially after they'd been so kind to him.

His manner changed, and he set down the last of the bandages on a table. "We like to give everyone a warm welcome here. If there is indeed a threat to Black Amber, or should you nerely wish to talk to the leader, Pale currently lives at Kimache Castle I believe."
Aes had noticed that ever since his wife had announced her pregnancy, he had possesed a sense of paranoia. This man might have spoken of danger that could not invade their territory. He was still cautious.

((Okay, now my stupid computer is letting me see your last post. It wasn't doing that until just now. sweatdrop ))
Rivven nodded, and bowed again to the man. "Thank you, again, sir. My name is Rivven Dilys. If you ever need a favor, I will be most honored to be able to pay my debt to you. Until then, good day." He stood straight again, and turned to leave. Let's see... I should be able to find the spot where I left my knife and chain with the dead body... and then it shouldn't take long to get to the springs and find my clothes. Then I'll go back to my room for some rest...

Rivven stopped outside the clinic, leaning heavily on his uninjured leg and supporting his upper body with an arm on it. He looked around quietly, and muttered to himself in embarassment. It hadn't been terribly long since the last time he'd been in to see the man, and now he'd be bothering him again. Taking a hand up to rap on the door, he tied the white coat around his waist so he wouldn't have to hold it anymore, and examined the water patches still over his wounds. They should be clean, so once the bullets were removed he'd probably be fine if he just took a few days rest again, but he didn't want to bother the man anymore than he had to. He was sure it must be terrible as a doctor to see people come in injured, even without having them make multiple trips in.

"The man you're looking for is taking a break right now." he should have gotten an assistant "Can I help you. Apparently I have nothing to do for the entire day."

Rivven swiveled his head around to look at the woman who had spoken, and nodded graciously, and bowing, rather awkwardly due to his stomach injury. "Thank you very kindly Miss. I could use... well, I should think it rather obvious I was coming here to have bullets taken out of my stomach, so... s-so if you could help with that, then I would be most appreciative, thank you."

She smiled warmly and motioned to the table. "Used to be with the army, this isn't such a stretch." her eyes zoomed in on his stomach "How many bullets? You must be a talented fighter to survive so many."

He blushed a little at the apparent compliment, rubbing the back of his neck embarresedly, and sat down on the motioned table, untieing the coat from around his waist and laying it to the side. "W-well, you know... I... it's really more a question of luck, where you're hit, right? A-anyway, I have one point blank to the stomach, so it'll probably be deep with a lot of collateral, the one in my shoulder, and then one in the thigh, and an old wound that opened up agian, if that needs attention. That tournament can really get rough." He said, wiping the tips of silvery white hair away from where they stung at his eyes, and laying back to let her do what was needed. "Once agian, thank you. I'm glad I didn't have to bother that man; he was really kind my first time here, I'd hate to come back to him beat up again just a few days later. That sort of thing must frustrate a doctor to no end, I imagine."

"You see some races dodge bullets every once and awhile. No need to blush!" she laughed and whipped out some bandages. Aes had set up his office just like the one in his hometown, so she knew her way around fairly well "There was this one patient of his that kept hurting herself, so I guess he can get a little depressed. But he's got his hands full with the kid now naturally" she continued chatting away as she looked at the wounds. "I might need to put you out..."
