Kai went in the gas station and bought a small bag of dog food and a bit of dog treats, carrying his purchase in one arm as he got out his phone again with his free hand, dialing the number to listen to his messages. He heard the whistle-like bird call faintly near the end, deciding to amplify it with his computer once he got back home to hear it better.

Emily imediatly decided she wasn't going to fly. "Yeah, about flying. I'm going to go on foot. Katie, you do what you want, I'm going to where I hid all my stuff". At this, Emily ran down the ally and turned left.

"I'm not so fond of heights.." Katie said, turning Kiana down, in a kind sort of way. Katie then left deciding to find the guy who she had just met.. Though this time it would be on her terms..

kiana shook her head as she watched the two leave. now what am i supposed to do? she thought to herself. she decided to follow emily and see if maybe the girl would still come with her to new york

Kai saw the dog laying at the step in front of his door, the dog sat up when it saw him, it seemed to favor it's left paw. "My, my...what other trouble have you gotten into tonight.. I guess you'll be staying tonight.." he unlocked the door and went in with the dog, putting some food in a bowl and setting it down, then tended to the lightly injured paw. When he was finished he fiddled with his phone for a moment, then went onto his computer to analyze the whistle-like bird call.

Kt sniffed the air...Though it was cold, she was still able to catch where Kai had gone.. It seems he lives rather close to the gas station.. she thought. She made her way to the back of the building, and then silently climbed in the window into the bathroom.. I better be careful.. I smell that dog here too... she thought..

Kai leaned back in his chair as he waited for the program to process what he all entered, the dog growled a little and looked toward the hall that lead to the bathroom and his bedroom. He tilted his head and used another belt for a collar and a bit of cable wire as a leash and tied the dog to his couch, then thinking it may be a thief he took an empty pistol off the open display on his wall and sat back by his computer and waited.

She was halfway to her hiding spot for her stuff when Emily realized Katie might do something reckless, like follow the man or something. Emily began to retrace her trail back to the allyway and then followed the two pairs of footprints. One was larger than the other and the other pair's tracks were smaller and fresh. She followed them to a house somewhat near the gas station. Emily walked up to the front door. "Maybe I should break down the door or climb through a window....". She then got an idea. If Kate climbed through the back way, then she herself would draw attention to herself and break through the front window. Emily picked up a rock and chucked it at one of the front windows.

The dog looked at the nearby window when something hit it, but returned it's attention back toward the bathroom. Kai walked over to the window and peeked outside, careful not to be seen by whoever threw that rock.. he started thinking those girls from before came to silence him, then figured he was a bit paranoid..but the one girl did have a tail..

Emily was running around the side of the house after she threw the rock. She hoped that she could keep the guy busy until she could get Katie out of there. It was to soon to check this guy out, he'd get suspicious.

Katie cracked the bathroom door, quietly, hoping to catch a glimpse of the guy. Ohhh, I hope that dog is dumb.... She thought to herself.. She still had some chicken fingers in her pocket from earlier.

Kai went back to the dog and untied him from the couch and sent him into the basement and closed the door, then he turned back and sat at his computer chair.

kiana watched the two from a perch on top of the roof. she hoped that the two of them didnt get caught, but figured getting involved at tis time would only put them in more danger and make the man more suspicious

Emily found a window in the back of the house open. She looked inside just in time to see Katie crack open the door. "Katie!!!", she whispered. As risky as it was, Emily hoped Katie woulden't jump or cause noise, that would cause trouble.

Katie turned slowly and hesitantly.. When she saw it was Emily, she gave a look to her that almost seemed to say, 'go back, I can handle this.'
