"Well then, that is better." The woman smiled as Kiri spoke. "Neither do I, thats why I do what I wish. What I need help with is quite simple really. I am looking for a way to control the celestrial(sp?) beings. I know how to, but the ones that I need in order to control them are very skilled fighters and will resist. I need to capture them. And oh yes before I forget, once I do control them, you and I can do anything we wish, even control time and space itself."

As Sara neared the chest, the voice in her head became louder.
You can end this war with me. Wield me and strike down your enemies. No one can stand between you and your goal with me! Use me, and this death and destruction will end!
Varnis and Zanio both look over at the chest as the voice speaks for the first time.
"That voice..." The samurai said to himself more than anyone. "Where have I heard it before..."
Come to me samurai. You know how powerful I am. You know about my secrets. You can unleash my power, and I can make you stronger!
Slowly Zanio raised his hand to his head and moaned some. "No... I wont..." He whispered as he left the tent.
Varnis watched as Zanio left, and thought nothing of it before turning back to the chest. "I have no idea... It looks like a weapon chest though."

Winged one... Your village... I can see it, burning in flames, friends and loved ones screaming in pain. The flames are not from the fire nation no... But those of the Gods! A woman, dressed in sky blue robes with white trim standing in the middle. Her eyes, as dark as an onyx gem, long flowing golden hair. Laughing and mocking you. Quickly, take me up in arms and use me! Strike her down, she wants to kill your village, and burn it to the ground! The voice yells Mia's head.
((Marria was the one described so you don't have to wonder since I've yet to get her profile up yet.))

What the voice was saying in her mind caused Mia great pain. She couldn't stand what it was saying. "Shut up, stop talking, I will never let Marria destroy my village! Whatever you are, I will not use you! Mia screamed in her mind. She stumbled backwards, after she recovered she looked at Varnis. "I sense great evil here."

Selce eyed the chest warily. 'Do we open it or drop it off a cliff into the ocean?" She studied her friends body language and tried to gauge how they felt. "Whatever it is it's sentinent and for a weapon that I don't like at all." She voiced her opinion wondering what exactly WAS in the chest without opening it. "Up to you all..." She let out her hand clenching and unclenching upon her sword's hilt.

[Kiri] thought abou what the woman said for a moment. She said it was simple, and that she already knew how to do it. How to control the celestrial beings, was such a thing even possible? Kiri had gained the aproval of three seperate gods and has gained great power through an alliance. But she had never thought to control those very same gods. "Which beings exactly do you want to control? I... have a relationship with several celestrial beings. If helping you somehow affects my relationship... I'm sure you understand where I am going with this."

"You don't know much about who I am, or what group I am with do you?" She shook he head some as she spoke, and looked about the room, seeing who was there, studying the people. Not many were left now, only the bartender and waiter. "And I do understand where you are going with it. I wish to control all of them, and I do believe it should affect your relation ship."

"My current task?" She repeated, shaking her head. "Its to find Marria, and where she has vanished off to. But, no one has heard of her or seen her in a long while." Shrugging, she continued to walk off towards mansion. "Tell me, do you know anything about her?"

Moving toward Mia, Varnis held his arm out towards her, in case she needed to support her self. "I don't sense anything here at all." He replied to her before looking over at Sara. "Do what you wish, why is it bothering you so much though?" As Varnis spoke, the orb that he carried started to glow slightly.
The voice in Mia's head laughed as she told it to shut up. "Why would you not want a sure way to save your village, and defeat those who wish you and your family harm. I can end it all, if only you where to use me!"
"You are right, and I am powerful. It would be unwise to just toss me into the ocean. The firenation may find me again, and will use me against you next time. Or worse, the Shalarash!" The voice said to Sara as its tone never changed.

Sara snorted in derision. "As if such a thing that can be confined to a chest and locked away can change the tides of battle. But answer a question and I may change my mind, who are the Shalarash?" Her tone showing her thoughts on such a thing winning.
She turned to Varnis. "Can you not hear it? It obviously wants out and must be horrible if even the Fire Nation didn't even use it in a losing battle." Her eyes moved to Mia and grew concerned.

Mia's heart started to grow heavy, when Varnis asked if she needed support, Mia grabbed his arm for support. When the voice in her head started to talk again, she started to squeeze Varnis's arm. "The thing, that is locked in that chest, claims it can stop this coming war and Marria from- des-troying my village. I think though that it might be a bad idea to remove it from the chest, I sense that it is very evil."

Placing his free hand on Mia's shoulder, he let her squeeze his arm, he could tell she was in pain from what ever was happening. "I don't really hear anything. I only heard the first thing it said when we entered, after that... nothing." He sighed, wondering what it was saying to them, but felt it would be better to not ask. "Do what you wish with it but, if its bothering you two that much, then I suggest you don't use it."
You do not know them? Surely you must, everyone has seen their work, or heard of what they are trying to do. The people wish to control the Gods. The voice replied to Sara as it spoke to Mia at the same time, but not saying the same.
Come, and use me, you know I can save your village, you know that it is in danger, do you not? Then why not use me, you say I am evil but, you do not know for sure, I am only as evil as the one that uses me.

Zanio was still outside of the tent, sitting on the ground, his head in hands, trying to clear his head. He couldn't stand being near the chest.

Sara moved closer to the chest but only to study the chest itself. "What do you both think? If we hide it there's a chance the Fire Nation may find it. And if we use it... if we use it we could lose ourselves. Is it worth it?" She asked Mia and Varnis over her right shoulder. With the taut pull of muscles in her back her left hand was ready to chop into the chest with her sword. "Let's go outside to talk and check on Zanio. By his reaction i'd say he knows something about it." With that she turned and walked out.

Kiri was silent for a long period. She was thinking about how the changes would affect her. She ran over many simulations of what could result from her decision. A wry smirk appeared on her lips. "I think we will be able to help each other. Now... why don't you tell me about yourself and the group you are with..."

"Ahhh.... Yet another dead end." The woman shook her head as she looked over at Erik. "If only I knew where she was, then so much could be answered. Its empty enough here." Walking over to Erik, she placed a hand on his shoulder. "You ever been teleported before?" She asked, making sure he was ready for it, and knew what to expect from such a thing.

Zanio looked up at Sara as she walked out of the tent. He seemed to be feeling better, but seemed to not fully be there. "Find anything in there?" He asked her as he watched her for a moment.

Varnis looked at Mia as she still held onto his arm as Sara left the tent. "Maybe getting away from this chest might be good for you as well." Varnis said as he started to walk forward but instead walked into an invisible barrier as well as Mia preventing the two from leaving.

Sara waited for the other two to exit the tent before asking Zanio any questions but when they failed to appear she assumed they were still talking to it. Looking over at Zanio she hooked her thumb back at it, "Do you know what's in the chest and how it can talk?" She asked looking at him carefully, he seemed a bit pale to her but she wasn't sure. "It says it can turn the tides of battle in our favor." She announced waiting.

Mia was shocked at the barrier blocking Varnis and her way. "I knew that chest was evil, it will probably try and keep us in here until we open it." She looked at Varnis. "I don't think it is a good idea to open it, we should try to figure a way out." She took her sword from her belt and tried to break the barrier, but was flung back. Mia then put her sword away and looked back at Varnis. "Varnis, what do you think we should do about this?
