Niam wanderd across the room to get his dagger, and tripped over a small jar of fire. The fire spilled out of the jar, and headed strait for his face. He concentrated with all his might, and the fire stopped, as if pressing against an invisible barrier. "Could you please come over hear for a second?" he said. "I've found a jar of jinxed fire!"

She concentrated, focused, thought, thank. The water-fire ball floated off the ground for a few seconds on her fourty-secondth try, but than fell back onto the ground. Finaly, on her 77th try, Ginerva managed to do what she wanted: Make the fire-water ball float a few inches off the ground, zip speedly across the room, and than come back, an jump right up into her hand.
I must admit, as the very highly honered historian of the Giona family, That Ginerva G. G. V. Giona, Esquire, was a little bit, or maybe even a lottle bit, proud of herself at this particular moment of triumph, and power over fire....

Ginerva picked up the ball of fire heading for Niam's face.
"Hey! You hurt it!" she said reproachfully, cuddling the little idoo ickle cutesy fireball in her arms.

"Well, it isn't one of mine fire." She said, replacing it in it's jar and placing putting it on a nearby bench, where it was probably left in the first place.
"They probably kinda, over telekinis-ified it, and it couldn't catch up 'til now.... sweatdrop ........." "Any way, are you ok, Mr.....mr....mr....mr...."

"Oh, sorry, I'm Niam Mure. And you are?" Niam said.

"I'm pleased to meet you, mr. Mure. And my name is Giona. Ginerva G. G. V. Giona. " Ginerva said, sticking out her hand to be shaken.

"Please, call me Ginerva. I really prefer it."
She said, blushing a little, for the realization had finaly come to her that she really LOVED this strange new student, Niam Mure.

"Really, now, someone might want to use the Telekinisis room. We'd really better be going."
She said, snapping back into reality.

"Goodbye, Niam...." She said dreamily, her blue-gold eyes shining as they met his purple ones, a trace of a smile on her lips.

Rivera wandered silently into the hall, her long black hair tied back into a loose ponytail by a white tie. She looked almost like a Shinto Priestess, but her eyes told a different story. The right, slit pupiled dragon eye was a soft silver while the other one was in the process of turning from green to blue. She was wearing a black, tight fitting top and loose fitting navy-blue jeans. She could be easily mistaken for a boy from the waist up, for her flat-chestedness and her cold expression. Only when she lifted her head did anyone tell the difference. Her boots were heavysoled, but had only a half inch heel, secured by straps and buckles. Scars of past battles covered her arms. A lightning dragon was tattooed onto her right forearm in black. There was a dragon handled key at her throat on a strong but thin silver chain.

A dragon hilted straight sword was in her hands, its ornate handle alive, crawling up her hand and wrist and connecting to her in her forearms. A chain with two weights was wrapped around her, alive and slithering like a snake of some sort. It fell around her in a circle when she lifted her sword and tossed down the sheath strapped onto her back. The chain slithered away into the shadows to wait while Rivera worked with the sword. Her first excercise was her favorite--the crescent moons.

Every sweep she made was accurate to the last milimeter, powerful with momentum and graceful as a crane. Her speed increased slowly, but surely. The blade's silver surface reflected the lighting, spinning in half circles and crescent moon patterns, reflecting deadly beauty in its metal and stars in its waterlit hilt. Ice particles would fly from it from time to time, showering anything nearby with a cold blast of air.

Niam came back in and tried a new spell he had glanced at in the library. It had looked easy enough, but it was harder then it looked. He tried for the 8th time, and it worked. He sent his dagger flying through the air, and then zooming strait back into his hand. He almost screamed with joy! "That's one of the nice things about Ria High School," he thought "Studying is satisfactory"

Rivera barely dodged the knife. A single hair was knicked off her head. She had been in the middle of the butterfly passes, on of the most complex sets in the advanced book. She looked up with an emotionless face at the man who drew the dagger, both of her eyes icy blue, but violet too, with annoyance. Her face didn't show it at all, as she watched the man jump and prance around at something he did right, apparently.

She held a hand to her cheek and looked at the liquid that smeared on her palm. So the knife did cut her across the face. Maybe she should've watched out for interfering sorcery. Guess that was partially her fault too. The wrist that she held the sword with throbbed, although she took no major notice but a glance and a shrug. Rivera had to swing it away at an awkward angle to not interfere with the knife as well as keep it away from her so it doesn't fall on her head or stab her in the back.

"If you might try a spell, aim it for an empty corner."

He found his way into one the private training rooms located in the East wing. He stretched a bit and began doing three sets per machine, making sure to target various muscle groups and keep his unnatural strength limited. He was still pretty scrawny but he was gaining muscle at a rapid pace. He didn't care much for looks, he was just doing it to get stronger which seemed to be his only goal since coming to Ria.

Never the less, he didn't think about anything too much and just kept going at it. When all way said and done, he rested for a bit, catching his breath and giving his muscles a break. He dried off with a towel and got his excess gear on and then left the room, heading out towards the main area of the Training Hall.
