"I have an old blanket, a necklace, and my first spell tome.... why?" He asked cocking his head and eyebrow looking over at her. "I can go get them if you want me too."

"Do you mind if I see your first tome? It could have some characters on it that would point out your lineage." Delaine explained, taking a bite out of an apple she had found. She knew that most spells were similar. But, the tome may contain characters that at least point out race, and possibly family history.

Sora snapped his fingers and an old ragged tome appeared in his hands he opened it to the first page and read what he wrote. "I am five years old and today I'm gonna start learning magic! I found this book in my room after the map led me here but mommy can't read it.. but I can and I just know it is magic." He said reading from the book. before he closed it and handed it to her. "I wrote them on almost all the blank pages, but it is a very thick, very solid, very difficult read, so There are only a few entries.., about 1-2 a year... there the only memories I have so please be careful."

"Yes, the La Vaes usually is on the top floor.. we'll go through the front entrance as her personal entryway is guarded by her dragon." the dragoon flew lower as they neared the Palace, other warriors looked at them, mostly curious about the strange girl.

Kirak watched Sora and Delaine, personally he was unable to use magic so he knew he wouldn't be able to read the tome.

"am I going to have to prove myself?" She asked excitedly hoping she would get to knock some heads together as other dragons gave her bizarre looks. "I am still roaring to fight after that last defeat." She said folding her arms, as anger caught her again while they landed in front of the palace.

the dragoon narrowed his eyes "No, all warriors will be needed for when Noswald troops next attack. Besides only a fool would attack the La Vaes, especially in the palace with her personal guard nearby." he spoke as he led the way.

The dragoon raised a brow "I hope you don't plan on speaking to the La Vaes in such a manner.."
"Who wishes to speak to me?" Sei stood at the end of the hallway, the two attendants behind her held several tomes, she looked at the strange girl beside the dragoon scout. "..who's this?"

Sei nodded to the dragoon sending him back to his post "The heritors and their little friends you mean? I suppose I do...they have one of my new toys that flew away.."
"Um, Lady Sei? What should we do with-"
"Bring those to my chambers for now.."

"I will." Delaine promised, gently taking his tome in her hands. Placing it on the counter she opened it slowly, taking care of the old pages as she began to read. She began to question a few characters, since it had been years since she had studied magic like this. For a moment she was transferred to the past, remembering the study where her mother had begun teaching her magic. She reminisced the time she had begun working with fire, and had accidentally set aflame the curtain. Despite the loss of the curtain, her parents weren't angry, but happy that their daughter had successfully used the spell. Now, here she was, away from home and on the run from the Noswald Empire. Snapping back to reality she began to focus on the task at hand, continuing to read Sora's entries.

"New toy?" She said cocking her head. "Anyways, I would be more than happy to help you achieve your goal if you help me achieve mine... see I need the pink haired one alive." She said stretching a little before looking over to the servant. "What are they talking about?"

"Pink haired? Hm...well I don't think I need him, I only want my toy back so I can see what makes him tick.." Sei sighed, still annoyed he escaped "Some data concerning my lost toy, the dark haired half breed.."
