Nathan sighed softly. "Just trying to match other people, since they're not simple either..."
Then he smiled. "If you decide you'd rather not figure me out though, I guess I wouldn't blame you..."

Nathan bit his lip with a shake of his head. "You're right about that one..." he murmured, smiling lightly.
"So, what time do you have to leave?" he asked, changing the subject as he picked up Hayate's hand to hold it. "I should probably warn you: I still live at home, with my parents..." he added, watching the other man's expression.

"Ah, I see. Well, I don't blame ya. I lived with my parents up until last year. Apartments are way too expensive. The only people who can afford to live on their own are professionals usually. Anyway..." Hayate checked the time on his phone. "I actually should be leaving right now." He stood up. "Will you be okay getting home or should I give you a ride?"

Nathan frowned. "I thought we'd already decided that you'd walk me home, but if it's going to be a bother then I can get home on my own..." he smiled gently.

"Not at all," Hayate replied. "I was just trying to make sure. With that, he signaled Nathan to follow as he began to walk back downstairs.

Nathan followed, shaking his head a little. "Now I really do feel like a puppy..." he murmured, close enough to Hayate that the other man ought to have been able to hear his words.

Hayate smiled and continued walking. "You can lead if you want. My car's a bit obvious to spot considering it's the only one that's sporting the classic bad a** flames and other random crap..."

Nathan nodded and went ahead, unconsciously darting around a hand that had been reaching for his butt. The woman attatched to the hand blinked at Nathan, then scowled and moved forward as though to try again.
The Angel, of course, wasn't noticing any such thing as he was focused on the door to the club.

Nathan looked around, puzzled since he wasn't used to his nickname yet, and saw the hand. Then he smiled in a dazzling fashion at the lady.
"I'm sure the lady is merely feverish - if not, I have a couple of female friends who always want company..." he drawled, watching with satisfaction as the woman recoiled.
"Just so..." he muttered, turning and continuing to the door without a backward glance 'til he was outside.

Nathan bowed. "I suppose... though I think my strangeness has - mutated - rather recently..." he muttered as he straightened.

"Whatever the case, I like it. That makes you an interesting person." Hayate walked up to the car and unlocked the doors. He then sat and pulled out his GPS. "Just put your address in and I'll take you home," he told Nathan as he was getting in.
