♥Jenna♥ Jenna looked up at him suprised that he wanted to call this a date. She was actually very excited and it took alittle bit of the pressure off, that she had when she saw her ex at the counter. Jenna was hoping that he wouldn't turn around and see her with Chance, she really didn't want to talk to him. She opend her mouth to say something but then closed it. She didn't know what to say, and she felt a warmth come to her face, was she blushing?
"So what else do you want to tell me about yourself? Anymore secrets?"

Chance chuckled a bit.
"your blushing"
he said smiling at her teasing her a bit, though he was probably blushing a bit himself. He was really happy that she seemed to like the idea. He took a bite of ice cream and thought for a moment about what else he could say. He thought about it for a moment then swallowed the ice cream.
"well lets see, I lived off crackers and ketchup for a day or two"
he said chuckling to himself a bit and shook his head at the memory.

♥Jenna♥ Jenna laughed lightly about the crackers and ketchup but she ignored the one about her blushing.
"Are you serious? Crackers and ketchup?"
She took a couple bites of her ice cream.

Chance smiled and looked at her.
"Yes ketchup Jenna, ketchup and crackers amazingly arent that bad"
he said taking another bite.
"but you know, ice cream tastes so much better"
he said still smiling at her.

♥Jenna♥ Jenna giggled again at the comment, and out of the corner of her eye she saw her ex turn around like he recognized her voice. She started getting alittle more nervous, hoping he wouldn't walk over.
"I bet it tastes alot better."
she smiled at him. Then she saw him walking over. Oh no, oh no, oh no..... She tried acting normal, eating more of her ice cream, but she was still getting nervous.
"Jenna?" He looked back and forth between her and Chance, Jenna just looked up at him and barley smiled.Go away! She really wished he could read her mind, but of course, he couldn't.

Chance noticed the guy come up to them. He smiled kindly at the other gentleman not knowing who he was but somehow must know Jenna.
"yes thats Jenna, and Im Chance, her boyfriend"
he said in a way to make it seem for the other guy to go and leave them alone, he noticed the expression Jenna had on her face. He didnt like it either. He left his ice cream for a moment waiting to see what the other guy would do next.

♥Jenna♥ Jenna stared at him waiting to see what he said to Chance. She was suprised that Chance had said he was her boyfriend, but she noticed Brandon (ex) looking at Chance, then back at Jenna. Brandon ignored Chance and faced Jenna.
"You think I can talk to you for a sec?"Jenna quickly glanced at Chance and then back at Brandon. "I-I...i'm with somone e-else right now, Brandon, sorry...""I'm sure he won't mind a few minutes. Just right outside or something."

Chance glance at Jenna then her ex.
"well hmm what if I do mind? Can you not see we are on our first date and I dont believe either of us asked for an interuption"
he said a bit angry with this Brandon kid already. He sighed deeply not knowing what to say so he just waited for a reply from the kid or from Jenna. He was a bit aggitated and thought about leaving the guy there alone and taking Jenna with him. He hadnt wished for an interuption.

Jenna whispered.
"You had your chance." "Jenna look, what I did was a mistake but a couple of drinks does that to you and i've never done anything else to hurt you before that night."It doesn't matter."
Jenna said through clenched teeth. Brandon looked at Chance "Hey man I know she's your girl now but do you mind if I just talk to her for a few minutes?"

Chance glared at the guy who was there, so this Brandon kid was who hurt her. Chance stood up and even through he was about the same height if not shorter then the boy in front of him he was angry at him.
"She aint gotta go no where"
he said a bit mad and was ready to take the guy down though he knew the other guy could probably get a few punchs at him. He glared at the boy as he stood about eye to eye with him.

♥Jenna♥ Jenna looked back and forth between the two. "Dude please I haven't seen her in forever and her dad won't let me near her. I really need to talk to her and this might be my only chance to talk to her, plus it's none of your buisness."Brandon took Jenna my the arm and started pulling her outside. "Come on." Jenna was dragging her feet on the floor. "Brandon--" she was trying hard not to yell.

Chance walked over and punched the kid causing him to let go of Jenna and Chance hugged Jenna.
"come on babe, lets blow this popcicle stand"
he said managing to find a bit of humor somehow. He had only punched the kids arm and wished he would have gone for his face. He was still holding Jenna protectively around the waist when he walked outside with her. He kissed her cheek when they had gotten out of the building.
"you alright Jenna?"
he asked more worried that the Brandon kid could have hurt her in the few moments they had met in the shop.

♥Jenna♥ Jenna nodded "Yea..I think so." She rubbed the side of her arm where Brandon had grabbed her. "Jenna! Come on!"Brandon rushed out of the store and punched Chance in the stomach."Chance!" Jenna screamed. "You shoulda listend man, I said I needed a few minutes with her."He started pulling Jenna towards his car. "Chance!!" Jenna started panicing badly.

Chance keeled over a bit when he got punched in the gut and couched a bit then ran after the guy and grabbed the front of his shirt dragging him over and slamming him against the wall.
"no buddy I dont think you understood"
he said angrier then ever now and punched the guy in the gut.
"thats for Jenna, dont you dare hurt her, not ever again"
he said glaring at him still holding him hard against the wall by the front of his shirt.

♥Jenna♥ Brandon sucked in a sharp breath.
"Ok! Ok!" Brandon pushed his hands away. "Jenna, look, I assume you still have my number, please just call me then. I really want to make it up to you, i'm so sorry.
Jenna ignored him, turning around, she realized she was hypervenalating, she was scared. She started thinking about the scars on the back of her legs, and the flashbacks were coming to her. The drinking. The music. The people.
