Once Kairi accompanied him by the door, Sora turned on his heel and walked down the halls. He was happy to have one of his best friends by his side, especially since this was like his first day. He felt like he needed to explain to Kairi why he hadn't been at school, but more than anything he wanted to know what had happened. Riku's behavior earlier still sent off alarms in his head, and he figured the crimsonette would know more about it.
"Sorry I had to ditch yesterday," he started as they walked toward the gym. "The principal didn't exactly believe my 'I left school to save the worlds' story. I had to get my parents to talk to him." It was a weak explanation, but it did its job.

After a couple moments of silence, the brunette decided it was now or never. He wanted to get info now, before he got into the classes he'd missed. He hated feeling left out of the loop, and he really didn't want to fall behind. At this rate, he was behind. Usually, he didn't help falling behind, because it happened on its own. But if he started his year like this, then he had low expectations for the outcome of the school year.
"So, no one's told me yet. What all did I miss yesterday?"

As Sora and Kairi were about to turn the last corner near the gym, a voice echoed in the hall. The brunette turned around and saw Blink's bandaged form running at them. He stopped and grabbed Kairi's arm to stop her as well. He glanced up at the clock, and they still had four minutes until the tardy bell would ring. In gym, they didn't have to be dressed out before the bell rang because they were given an additional five minutes to do so.

"What's wrong, Blink?" Sora asked, noticing the panic in his voice. Blink fell and he ran to him and helped him up ignoring the sniggers from onlookers. "You okay?" He wondered what could possibly be upsetting him so much. He turned to Kairi with a confused look and shrugged before looking back at Blink. He sure did run fast for someone wrapped in bandages from head to toe...

Sora stared at Blink skeptically. A girl with short blonde hair and green eyes? That didn't sound like anyone he knew (or remembered). At first he thought he'd been talking about Namine, but he knew for a fact that she had blue eyes, identical to Kairi's. He'd never forget that color. Besides, what would Namine get from going up to some random kid and say some strange things. Now, the brunette knew a lot of people who said strange things, but none of them met the description Blink gave.

Sora patted Blink's back sympathetically while looking up to Kairi with a helpless look in his eyes. He felt like this was an awkward situation for him to be dealing with, and he didn't want to make Kairi and himself late for class.
"Hey Blink?" he started. "Look, I don't want to be late to class, and you shouldn't be either. Why don't you just go to class and tell me about this during lunch? It's just an hour away." He made sure he was sturdy and backed up, allowing him to stand on his own. Without waiting for a reply, he backed up and took Kairi's arm and turned the corner.
"We gotta hurry," he told her and started a brisk walk to the gym.

GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Kairi was ecstatic that this time on her way to gym, she was accompanied by Sora. As the two of them walked the Keyblade Master apologized again to the prnicess for ditching yesterday and explained why he had to. "It's okay Sora," the crimsonette said smiling. "Aww yeah?" Kairi sighed, "I know how that is. I had to explain to the principal why I suddenly disappeared for several weeks last year. That didn't go to well..." Kairi laughed then did an impression of what she told the principal, "'Sir, the reason I missed school was because some strange man with flaming red hair wearing a long, black cloak showed up one day saying he knew Sora. Then this dog came and he and I were suddenly surrounded by these weird, white creatures. A portal of darkness appeared and I followed the dog into and ended up in a different world. Then I was kidnapped by these people called Organization XIII, but I was able to escape thanks to my Nobody Naminé. I eventually reunited with Riku and Sora, and after saving the worlds we're back now.' He didn't believe any of it."

After that they walked in silence for a couple of moments until the brunette asked the red head what all he had missed yesterday. Kairi took a deep breathe and exhaled then answered, "A lot."

But before Kairi could begin telling Sora about the events of yesterday she heard someone shout their names. The brunette stopped and grabbed her arm to stop her as well. Kairi turned around and saw Blink running to catch up to them. He fell and Sora ran to help him up, Kairi right behind him with a worried look on her face. Sora helped him and asked if he was okay, then gave Kairi a confused look which she returned. Blink explained to them that he had seen a girl through the window. When the crimsonette heard Blink say the girl had blonde hair, she automatically thought of her Nobody. But as Blink continued he said the girl had green eyes. Kairi and Naminé were practically identical, except for their hair. They both had the same deep blue eyes, so the girl couldn't have been Naminé.

Kairi was highly confused, and when she she saw the helplessness in Sora's eyes she was even more unsure about what to do. But when the brunette said that they should be going the crimsonette mentally agreed. They should all get going before they were all late for class. Sora suggested Blink tell him what happened at lunch, and with that he took Kairi's arm and set off to the gym at a brisk walk. "That was strange..." Kairi said as she and Sora hurried to the gym. "Oh and about yesterday, I'll tell you everything after we've changed and are inside the gym."

They reached the changing rooms, Kairi going into the girls and Sora going into the boys. Within five minutes the red head had changed into her gym clothes, entered the gym, and rejoined Sora. She lead him to a corner, away from the sea of students entering the gym.

"All right," Kairi said to Sora, "It's a long story, but I'll try to make it quick without leaving anything out." Kairi paused then began. "After we left left Biology I came here, and found out that I had gym with not only you, but with Axel and Lakayna as well. Lakayna is a new friend I made before school yesterday. Durning gym we heard someone playing a guitar. Axel snuck out then returned and said it was Roxas. After gym Axel, Lakayna, and I headed to the cafeteria. Axel wanted to apologize to Naminé for everything that she had been put through while with the Organization. On the way to the cafeteria though Lakayna momentarily lost her vision so I had to lead her to the lunchroom. Once there I learned that Naminé and I have a very special link. She and I can talk to each other using our minds. Even though she has her own body now we are still connected and I'm sure that's how we have that special power. I bet you and Roxas can to it too. Anyway through that connection Naminé told me that she and Roxas would meet up with us. Shortly after I sat Lakayna down at a table she began shuddering and her body was convulsing. It looked like she was having a seizure. I tried to help but was in a panic, but luckily Naminé showed up and handled the situation calmly. After a few minutes Lakayna was back to normal, and Naminé had forgave Axel. All seemed well until there was another commotion. That's when I finally saw Riku. He had Riku confronted some girl then left the cafeteria. I don't know what happened, but Naminé went to check on him saying that she'd let me know if he was okay. After that Lakayna went outside as well, and Axel followed her shortly after. Seeing that I was now alone I got up and wandered around campus by myself until lunch was over. That's when they announced the pep rally, and Naminé contacted me saying that Riku was okay and to meet them in front to the gym. I thought things would be fine at the pep rally, but I was wrong. I met up with Naminé and Riku in front of the gym and that's when we saw some jerks inside were picking on a silver haired girl and had punched her. Naminé ran to help her out, and then the girl ran out of the gym." Kairi paused to catch her breathe then continued. "Namine returned to me and Riku and then the three of us entered the gym. After a few steps, to my horror, Naminé double over onto the gym floor. I didn't know what was going on but Riku helped her up and we took her to the nurse's office. When we got there we found that the girl who got punched, Lakayna, and Axel was there as well. Something had happened to Lakayna at the pep rally too, and Axel had brought her there. Riku went off somewhere, I don't know where, but I'm sure it had to do something with what had happened to Naminé. I stayed with Naminé in the nurse's office for the rest of the school day, and then she and I went to find Riku. We saw Riku run towards town chasing a hooded figure. My first thought was that it was the Organization, but when I asked Riku about it today he said it wasn't and told me not to worry. Anyway Naminé and I tried to follow them but we got blocked by a group of people, and by the time they had passed Riku and the hooded figure where gone. Naminé and I then went to the beach to wait for Riku there. She and I sat on the sand, looked out at the sea, and talked for a while..." Kairi broke off, a slight blush playing at her cheeks. She thought back to how she had told Naminé that she loved Sora as a friend and as something more, and how she had asked the petite blonde if she had someone like that. Kairi was happy to know that she did. Pulling out of her thoughts the princess continued once more. "Well Naminé and I ended up talking until dark, and we didn't know where Riku had gone. After that she and I went home. So... That's what happened after you left yesterday from my point of view. Since I was just a witness to all of these things I don't have a lot of details. So if you want to hear more you should probably talk to Naminé, Riku, or one of the others. But I hope I was still of some help!" Kairi finished, smiling up at Sora. She then laughed a little embarrassedly saying, "Oh wow, I talked a lot. Sorry Sora!". Kairi bowed her head slightly, her cheeks turning pink.

Blink got out of class early to see the nurse. "Im going to check the window first." blink said to himself. he was walking towards the window to look at it. He opend the window and looked out. "Shes gone...." he said. Blink felt a tap on his shoulder and he turned around. It was the principle He asked blink why he was out early. Blink began to explain. " im on my way to see the nurse" Explained Blink. The head master told him to hurry up.

Blink headed towards the nurses office. im here to change my bandages Miss said blink. He wanderd over to the cuboard where blinks bandages are kept. he started to change. Once he finished he set off back to class . "Kay miss im off" said blink.

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.”

Riku looked at Naminé with almost a dead expression when she took his hands and placed hers on his cheek. It was a relief to knwo that she was okay and that she wasn't upset about the kiss. The silvernette sighed and closed his eyes after the blonde's final words. "Too many things, Naminé. Too many things," he whispered. He knew that that wouldn't satisfy the petite Nobody. And so he'd have to worry her more with lies or half truths. It upset him that he knew this but how else was he suppose to protect them and Sora from the Darkness and do everything else in the world that needed to be done?

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.”

The silvernette felt the blonde's hand fall from his face and he didn't need to look at her to know that she was scared now and extremely worried. He could feel it. Riku chuckled softly. He didn't even know why he laughed, maybe just to relieve a little tension. He looked back at Naminé and took her face between his hands. His eyes sincere now as they gazed into her. "You don't need to worry about anything. I'm strong...remember?" Riku stated. He didn't want her to freak out and worry about him. He'd get through it and when he did he just wanted her to be waiting happily.
