Iri can't really take to the sky, but that doesn't inhibit her. As soon as she hears and feels the earth moving beneath her feet, a cushion of air forms between the soles of her feet and the earth. Essentially, Iri's floating.

"Show you the demon I've become? Really, you've got some insight. You must have been spying on Dalcon and myself all the way here."

As she speaks, memories play through her head. The kinds of things she had hidden in her mental fortress. Her opponent hasn't done anything to anger her. It takes more than simply attacking the avian. So, in order to accomodate her request, Iri has to make herself angry.

"But, if I'm going to make the effort, I'd really like to know why I'm fighting. What's your motive?"

"We have our ways of knowing, Irianna. And I have been ordered. I need to know nothing more behind it."

She narrowed her eyes as Iri began to float, and reached down with her free hand to grasp her weapon, and with a simple twist and lift, the ground rumbled as a block of stone to Iri's right jutted out of the ground with admirable speed, aiming to smash into her side.

With a bright flash of energy, Iri's body dissipates. The block finds nothing but air.

When she speaks, her voices emanates from all around the stranger. "Well, Missie, if you want to be that way..." And laughter, lacking any sort of humor, follows her words. She's finally focused on the curse her grandmother bestowed upon her father. The old hag's treachery. The way the ugly old bat treated her family. That definitely did the trick.

Iri rematerializes in the branches of a tree, about ten feet above the woman. This doesn't look much like the avian, though. She's taken on some of the Fury's attributes. Steely claws, three inches in length, have replaced her usually stubby nails. Fangs protrude from her lips. Her eyes are glowing with restrained anger and power. And all of her coolness and calm is gone, taking an amazing change upon her facial features.

As soon as she materializes, Iri swipes at the air with her claws. All of the tree limbs below her perch are taken out. With a second swipe, five wind blades and plenty of tree matter descend upon the woman.

The woman slaps the debris away with the flat of her sword, using one hand. As she swung, the other hand was raised up in Iri's direction and clutched at the air. As she balled her free hand into a fist, the bark of the tree Iri was in groaned and twisted around any part of her body that was touching, attempting to trap her, even if it was just for a moment.

"Good! This is what I need."

Having watched on so far, Dalcon cuts a run, ending up behind the woman with surprising speed, given the wide arc he took. "I've got what you need right here," he says, vaulting at her. He intends, and tries to, kick the woman hard right at the base of her neck.

A vicious grin crosses the Fury's face, something like a cross between a laugh and a hiss accompanying the expression. Apparently, she doesn't care that she's trapped. It simply amuses her. Or she may be laughing at the woman's developing predicament. Air bombs, twelve of them, are forming in a tight circle around the strange woman's feet.

"Don't you know? You shouldn't corner feral things. They tend to show their teeth."

When she sees Dalcon attack, the Fury frowns. This won't do. She thought it was one-on-one.

With the minor distraction, she takes the time to disappear once more. Her energy doesn't leave the area. Instead, it moves to hang about the woman like a cloud.

The woman turns around as Dalcon intervenes and raises an eyebrow. The kick lands solidly, and the woman's back foot slides a few inches as the attack hits the tall collar of her armor. The force pushes back the woman's hood, revealing a heavy helmet, adorned with intricate gold patterns. she grabs at the boy's ankle, hoping to hold onto him with a crushing grip and force him to the ground.

"Imbecile!"

"Grghh," Dalcon mumbles, struggling against the woman's iron grip. Or at least, pretending to. In reality, he's not fighting her at all, and is using his chakra to bind is ankle to her encircling fingers- a variation on the technique he'd been using to hang onto the windmill. The reasoning is simple- it's that much harder to move with an eighty pound kid strapped to your wrist. Kicking furiously with his other foot, he calls out. "Iri! Kill it!"

Iri's disembodied voice cackles before hissing, "Gladly!"

When she appears, Iri is clinging to the woman's back somewhat like a monkey
(( Anyone reminded of the quote "I'm gonna come at you like a spider monkey!" XD )). Her legs are wrapped around the other woman's waist. Both wings come forward and up to wrap around the woman's arms and keep them in place. Iri's hands are wrapped around the shaft of her naginata, which she attempts to plunge into any possible gap made by the woman's high collar.

What Dalcon hadn't taken into account, is that the woman's sword weighed at least a hundred pounds, and she was swinging it around nearly effortlessly. The woman's grip tightened even more, and as the boy's technique took hold, it easily gave the woman enough force to crush shinbone in her gauntleted hand. As Iri materialized, the woman dropped her sword and swung Dalcon behind her head, still grabbing him by the leg. This movement was dual-purposed. For one, it would fling Dalcon's body to knock the Fury off of her back, and two, it would bring Dalcon's leg in the naginata's path.

"Good! You are of some use!"

The woman's sword hit the shattered earth and sunk into the ground a few inches, threatening to fall into the chasm she opened up under the ground in front of her.

"Aaarghsonofaf-beep-!"

He winces, flailing about on the point of passing out with all the pain of his shin getting crushinated. He has no way of knowing it's due to get amputated anyway. In his mid-air writhing, he clutches one of the feathers Iri had braided in his hair and to his (later) surprise, it hardens and sharpens, somewhere between jade and obsidian. Holding it like a spear point or dagger, he ignores the sleek edges digging into his palm and stabs wildly at the helmeted head in front of him.

Hissing her frustration, Iri lets go of the naginata and lets it dissolve into the air. In the same moment, she catches Dalcon around the waist and holds him in place with one arm. That leg is ruined. She heard the bone crushing. So whatever damage occurs now could only make him pass out and ease his pain. While he stabs at the woman's helmet, Iri takes one more stab at the gap made by the armor collar. This time, she reaches in with her steely claws and aims to tear away at her opponent's neck. If she takes out the jugular, she'll be very pleased.

The woman lets go of Dalcon's leg and quickly changed targets, grabbing onto the forearm that was digging into the armor. Iri got to skin, but didn't hit anything important. The woman twisted around and attempted to sling Iri against the ground, onto the steel flat of her sword. Hopefully, the woman would snap the Fury's arm in two with the massive force. From what Iri could gather, the armor was surprisingly thick, the entire suit weighing more than two-hundred pounds, at least, and this woman was strong enough to wear it like it was barely more than chainmail. The boy's attacks on the woman's helmet would prove fruitless, only chipping away at the rock-hard feather against the steel of the helmet.

As Dalcon slams into the earth, he promptly passes out from pain and shock.

Iri just lets the boy fall. It's her that the armored woman is interested in, so she's no longer worried about Dalcon. And at least he can't feel the pain now. Instead, she worries about herself.

As she gets slung, Iri lets go of the woman with her wings and legs and uses the air underneath her feathered appendages to make the course smoother. This prevents the damage the force would have caused to her arm. And instead of landing on her back on the flat of the blade, Iri lands in a low crouch. With her free hand, Iri reaches behind herself, looking over her shoulder, and swipes upward in the general direction of the woman's... We'll call it the "no zone". Wind blades form and threaten to slice the woman in half from below.
