"OH, KAI!" Tomoro said loudly, hopping up and turning around to meet him. "How HAVE you been?" Then, quickly, Tomoro pulled off the amethyst bracelet she had found in the strange section of the greenhouse, and dropped it on top of his head. "That belongs to you. One of those... five hope things or something?" Tomoro shrugged, and decided to climb up the new tree she had made instead, swinging like a monkey, desperate to reach the top. Her hair caught along the way, but she yanked away, ripping out the few spare strands. She then sat high in the tree, looking at the leaves. Damn, I did a good job... these are really realistic... oh yeah... they ARE real.... hah. Taking a leaf still connected to the branch in her hand, she stroked it softly, like a small puppy, and stood up on the branch, clinging to the trunk. There was a small opening she could see through, and Tomoro looked out of it, sighing lightly. "If I jumped here.... though the fall would kill me... for a moment I would fly..." she whispered to herself, plants rustling busily, as if advising it was a good idea.

Felix just watched as Tomoro walked away, Rivin suddenly had a horrible feeling in the pit of his stomace, like he had made her walk away, as thought she had read his mind.

"So ... er ... did you just get here? Or have you been here a couple days?" Rivin asked, the tension was suddenly tightened with the walking off of Tomoro.

"Yeah, I got here, yesturday evening. How long have you been here?" Felix said quickly, he was rarley relaxed and this was not one of those rare moments.

"Umm, almost a year now. But man, you came here a that right time, 'cause new classes start tomorrow, except for me. I finished this year early, only because I worked my a** off," Rivin said, his eyes wandering the area. He was still really shy, as always, so his grip tightened on his wand.

"Oh...darn I thought it was today.." he said rolling his eyes.

Suddenly from the brush near them, it was a rabid Lynx. It jumped, it's claws extened towards Rivin. Before the Lynx had time to get close enough to him, Rivin's wand was pointed to the Lynx, and a flash of blue came.

The Lynx was held hovering in the air, then suddenly, time around the Lynx went in reverse. It quickly returned behind the bush, then there was a flash of yellow. Rivin pushed Felix out of the way, and then took a side step himself, suddenly his shaking hand fell loose, and the Lynx jumped out of the brush a second time, except this time, there was nothing to jump at. The Lynx landed on the ground, looked at Rivin. It ran at him, but this time, struck and invisble wall, and let out a yelp before returning to the brush.

"Woo, that was close," Felix said relcutantly.

"Naw, I can handel it," Rivin said cocking his head to look at the brush from a diffrent angle. The Lynx was gone.

"What was that...I mean, what did that animal run into?" Felix said inquestivly.

"A barrier," Rivin muttered.

"A barrier? But I was watching you, and you didn't do anything," Felix said, his tone shocked.

"Well, thats what happens when you've mastered Sheilds, you don't need to do anything notice able," Rivin said, not trying to be concedied, just telling it like it was.

"Woah, that was cool," Felix said in awe.

"Well, I still had to do all the things to make a sheild, except I didn't have to make them that noticable, because I've just gotten so used to it. But, I need to sit down. Making the sheild invisble took a little more out of me than I thought it would," Rivin said, spreading himself out on the grass.

Kai's eyes went wide when he watched the incident with the lynx. He gulped slightly and quickly looked down again, saying to himself, "How come everyone around here has cool powers?...All I can do is heal..." A streak of jealousy took over for a bit but then he felt better, "Well...At least I can heal people...That's good...I guess..." The boy instantly turned crimson and backed away from the other two boys, "Great...Now they probably think I'm a freak that talks to myself..." The healer tripped on a rock and landed on his butt...hard. He yelped slightly and his staff slipped out of his hands and rolled over to the other two guys. His eyes went wide and his heart sank, "NO!!!" Kai slowly stood up and rubbed his butt slightly before walking over to the two boys slowly, "Great...Now I have to face them again..." Kai didn't notice Tomoro's attempted suicide and failure. If he did, his heart would've probably stopped right there since she couldn't kill herself...Not now...He had actually grown a liking to the girl...Since all he knew was her name and face...

Tomoro's ears perked up at the sound of her name outside the fort, although it was barely recognizable. She then heard 'Tom.' Oh Lord. He can't start calling me that. I sound like a pet cat or somthing that way. Besides, my real name sounds so much cooler... Rolling her eyes and stepping on the grass, Tomoro snapped her fingers and sighed, pointing her right index finger at the tree with black leaves. Instantly, it came down, smashing its way back into the Earth, then finally disappearing. Tomoro strutted out of the fortress.

"Yeah, man, I'm right here." She said, slightly suspicious. What does he want now? I bet he just wants to say goodbye, he's going to go hang out with Kai and Rivin now. She raised an eyebrow, and then looked down at her ankle, which had begun to ache again. "Aw, s**t." She muttered under her breath. "Nurse told me not to do anything crazy on it. It's probably going to fall off now." Then, faking a smile, she bowed towards Kai, though not helping him up, and faced Felix. "You needed something?"

Alyssa entered the glass dome without any sort of care toward the plants. She wore sunglasses to keep her delicate eyes block from the harmful UV rays that could destroy her sight. Silently, Alyssa walked past a young lady and two young men before finding a small metal table all to herself. With a delicate touch, she ran her fingers over a flower and watched it die almost instantly. Alyssa smirked at the wilted rose; pushing it off to the side.


"What an interesting place.."Alyssa thought, letting her mind wander. It was such a strange place; it was peaceful, quiet, and....relaxing. This place was nothing like Alyssa's home; she actually liked it here.

She snapped back into reality when she saw another plant across from her. It was an odd looking plant with multi-colored petals and small thorns protruding from the stem. Alyssa moved her finger in a 'come here' gesture and watched as the plant came toward her; inching along like a little worm.

Alyssa ran her fingers over the thorns delicately, her burgundy eyes filled with a love she had never felt for anything else. Something about this plant reminded herself of Alyssa. The neglected one of the entire family; never noticed and left to die. Alyssa smiled gently as she ran an index finger over one of the petals; startled that the plant did not wilt as the rose did.

OOC:Wouldn't that be weird if they were like...brother and sister but didn't know it...O__o I'm thinking of a weird twist...O__o

Tomoro shrugged her shoulders, figuring that Felix would go off with his new friends, totally ditching her. Instead, she made her way back into the greenhouse, and stopped dead in her tracks. Death... why... is someone killing the plants? Tomoro raced to where she could feel the presence of death lingering with the plant, most likely a rose, and stopped once she saw a strange girl sitting on a metal table. She cautiously made her way over to the girl, bringing her eyepatch down so her right eye was concealed.

"You. Why are you killing?" She spoke coldly, crossing her hands across her chest. "What did the plants do to you?" She tilted her head, and smirked, almost challenging the girl. "You like killing things for fun?" Tomoro was already angry, but this was too much; she couldn't bear to watch the plants she tended to so carefully die at this girl's hands. Who does she think she is? she thought, examining the girl carefully. She must hate the world, or something. What a b***h.
