*Azrael skidded back along the ground, a stream of dust in his path. His right hand bled slighly from Corbins Talon marks, and his left hand threw down the bloody stump of tongue and moved to the gash on his shoulder which was running blood down his arm. He watched his brothers arm pulsating from the trapped petals within and closed his eyes whispering something inaudible. The petals dissappeared from within Corbins arm and the blade of his sword reformed.*
Not bad yourself, it's been a while since someones been able to damage me...
*Concentrating his energy Azrael closed his wounds enough to stop himself losing anymore blood, however healing himself fully thisearly on would surely only be a waste of power. Azrael realised he would have to kick this fight up a notch earlier than expected*
Now brother, I have something to show you...
*Azrael began to step on the spot again, each footfall growing louder, to the sound of a thunder clap.*
I know of the difference in strength between us, it is something that troubled me for a long time, and in terms of raw power you seem to be ahead of me on that as well, knowing many more ways of channeling it than I do, hence I have spent time training the only other option available to me...

Speed
*Azrael disappeared again, leaving no physical trace of himself whatsoever, until he appeared a mere 3 feet to corbins right, slashing diagonally with his katana. It is likely that from the cornor of his eye Corbin could see blood trickling from the left Corner of Azraels mouth*
((Ok so to explain, Azraels ultimate speed technique basically makes him rediculously fast, and near impossible to dodge simply with celerity or vision techniques, i know that almost sounds like modding, however his attacking power and defence are reduced and he cannot keep this up for long as it damages his body, hence the blood))

*Alone in the darkness, Roan's body twitched once as Azrael's sword slid into Corbins body, then again as Corbin struck at Azrael's eyes. After this though, her form stilled once more, a little colour returning to her tattoo*

*Turning his head back to the fight as movement exploded form the duelling pair again, Syn's grin split his face in two as he licke dhis lips. He was genuinely impressed by the pair, and the interesting mix of their skills. Spreading his hands onto the stone work next to his seat, thin black lines began to spread out form his finger tips, cascading like veins down the side of the stadium towards the enclosed arena. Though the veins did not even try and progress through the protective barrier surrounding the fighting zone, they nevertheless covered every other square inch of stone work as Syn's eyes turned black, his grin still in place*

Watching Az prepare his flash step technique, Corbin smirked. A small amount of Az's blood lay spilt on the ground where Corbin's lance had cut him, and he was all too aware of this.
.:Quickly now!:.
.:Right.:.
As his eyes narrowed, another pair of rings formed in Corbin's eyes around those of white, these rings however shifting like liquid with a deep crimson colour to them. In response to this, the blood Az had spilt rushed across the ground to Corbin's feet, and as Az appeared at his side, it shot up to the disfigured tip of his tongue.
Grinning, Corbin still with skin of rock flailed his right arm uselessly, letting it take to blow from Az. With th speed, and momentum th force of he slash was much greater of course, and managed to cut down to the bone of the limb, or atleast the still healing part.
Parrying the blade, Corbin then hopped away to Az's right, as the blood on his tongue shone with a billiant ruby, before seepin into the muscle, and the tongue snapped back up into Corbin's mouth.
Corbin's then raised his left hand, and curling his fingers inwards, dared Az to come for him again, a grin on his face.

*Azrael stayed focused and unfased, the instant the balde was parried he vanished, attacking next from the left. Azrael deliberatly sliced shallow and whether the blade hit or not, disappeared again and then struck from behind with a horizontal slash at waist height. Blood was now running freely from Azraels mouth*

Bone was now mostly restored to his right arm, though the muscle would take more time, as it was much more complex, esspecially in Corbin's body.
Seemingly unable to keep up with the speed Az exhibited, Corbin took the shallow cut to his left arm, however it barely broke the surface of his rock hard hide due to its shallow intent, thus not damaging the bicep muscle.
As Azrael appeared behind him however, he smirked, and both the red, and white rings in his ees bloomed with life. He vanished, with a powerful stomp from the right foot.
Instintaneously, he appeared behind Az, another lance formed around his left arm just as before. Without a word, he aimed to slice Az, however aim for the spine just above the 'love handle' section, intent on damaging the nerves.

Oh and forgot to earlier mention. I dont concider it modding, and in here we all have a much more liberated sense of the term. You've balanced it well.
Also, nice to see some appreciation for the rurouni kenshin series. Thats where you found th flash step, right?

. biggrin ont get to comfy in there, Im not in the habit of sharing a mind with anyone:.
*Dagoth looked at the room around him filled with soulless and lifeless people, he was hiding very well almost zero energy excaping from his body. Impressive his killing aura must be huge, he let out a low level chuckle as the air around him thickened the lives of air distorted defracting the light like a mirror.
The people in the room began to choke, falling to their knees dagoths aura smothering everyone bar one. He could mask his power from him but he would never fall to something so low level. Patting the now warm ferago he waved at the man.*
So your the guy that he wont shut up about.

*Azraels eyes widened and he disappeared, avoiding the blow. He appeared opposite corbin, about 15 feet away. He was down on one knee and wiping the blood away from his mouth*
What the ********?! How can he match this speed? This God Speed technique practically destroys my muscles to use it, how can he see me?!?!
*Azrael raised himself to his feet and spat out a mouthful of Blood and began stepping heavily on the spot once more*
Again, Again, I havn't trained this hard for nothing!
*With an explosion of dust Azrael disappeared again. He appeared momentarily for a brief flash in different positions all around corbin, attempting to dissorient him before finally appearing right in front of him with a powerful vertical slash down at his head, however he disappeared again before the point of impact.
He then reappeared directly in front again with another slash, hoping his earlier confusion tactics had left Corbin expecting him not to attack from the front twice in a row*

*Take casually stung some of Dag's interior and the blade rippled with life, almost as if made of water*

*Turning his head slowly as Dagoth spoke ot hi, Syn allowed himself a still wider smirk. The black lines extending from his fingers into teh groudn below now also began to spread back this way as well, covering the stands also. As the 'veins' neared Dagoth however, they moved much more swiftly and deftly, aiming to head into the material of his clothing, then down and under the fourth DeSeer's skin, though as yet they would cause no pain or damage*
So the last one is Shinigami and Atlantean. She has done well.
*Turning his gaze then to the blade, Syn tutted*
And you should learn to keep your nose out, senor Daemon. You only get the one taste, and you should remain with the one host. The bloodline is not your personal tramline.

((no its actually from bleach, so are pretty much all of my sword techniques lol but i did just refer to it as God speed, which is indeed from kenshin (both series' own))

*Again, a twicth as contact occured between the two fighters. This time though, her eyes opened the slightest amount, red light pooling form them*
.: You leared to craft weapons for a reason. Kagu chose you for a reason. Fight harder Azrael. I know this isnt all you have. You almost killed me once, and Corbin is only your brother. :.
*The voice was quiet, weak, but the tone not scathing or angry for once. Though she couldnt take herself to watch the fght in person, she didnt want EITHER childe to lose*

Ah, I knew the thousand bloosom technique came from bleach, so I figured they might have a similiar technique in bleach, but decided to go with Kenshin. The second, god speed however reeked of it, esspecially now. hehe. I never did see much of bleach, just the first six or so episodes I think.

Watching, Corbin implemented his own confusion tactic, having time during Az's brief shock and rest. The invisible black rings in his eyes changed shape rapidly, and the air around him became vaguely visible, before his figure grew haze like.
As Az then made his attacks, the blade passed right through 'Corbin', and the real one appeared just to Az's left, his own left arm raised already, witht the viral markings forming a large claw, which he used to try and rip apart the muscles an tendons of Az's sword hand.
"Your not surprised by my diablorie, are you?"
All the while, he was begining to feel the effects of the technique himself.

*Dagoth twitched as take stung him, he couldnt believe how fast the tendrils moved. Instinctively he swung take at them a way to cut them free. He growled how the hell did he know what Dagoth was. He wasnt even sure that roan knew what he was truly, this wound him up more and more he could feel the rage beging to burn at his blood.*
SOmething tells me you and Take know each other very well. Now how often is that?
*Dagoths head twitched to one side, his two eyes glowing*
