  Reaper glanced over at the man with a small smirk. He was tempted to show him that it would be quite hard to kill him...but it looked like he might be here for a while as well. And he was enjoying having some small form of conversation without someone being...unfriendly towards him. No need to ruin that just yet.
He glanced up at the ceiling a moment. "I believe there were a few little girls here. Got bored I'd imagine."
Both Rosie's jumped slightly at hearing Cat enter the room so quietly and spun to look at her.
The Rosie on the shelf glanced up at watever was shining on the top shelf then back don at Cat. "I wanted to see what that was..." she said, pointing towards the top shelf.
But if these things could do what she said, perhaps climbing around them wasn't such a good idea. They'd...she'd been caught anyway, so there wasn't much point in trying to argue. She turned uneasily and aimed herself towards Cat to jump off the shelf.

Cat reached up for her and gingerly pulled her down, then sat her on the floor. "I'm sorry that you're bored. I'm a little bored, too, and there's nothing wrong with exploring. Just don't touch. Okay?"

Reaper smiled slightly. "She can duplicate herself." he replied. "The way she reacted when the noise came from upstairs, I'd say she sen't one of her others off earlier."
"Alright. Sorry..." Rosie replied. The other Rosie walked up to her and fuzed herself back into one little girl with a flash of red light.

Bruce nodded, understanding spreading across his face. "Ah, I see... THAT would be a handy ability to have. If nothing else, it would allow me to test more solutions for getting out of this merged Universe faster..."

Bruce sighed, and asked, "Well, do you want the scientific answer, or the layman's answer?" The man was obviously interested, and he didn't want to talk over his head if he wanted to know. Knowledge was key, especially in a situation like this.

"Alright," began Bruce, "I'll do my best. As you know, the Universes are merging. Usually, this is prevented by what turns out to be vibrational frequencies, all unique to each Universe. On the normal side of what we're calling the crisis line, the barrier between the normal Universes and this merged Universe, The frequency is normally constant, but is now degrading in some areas and increasing in others. We are able to cross the crisis line from the normal side of my Universe to the merged side because the frequencies on the normal side are changing at a constant, predictable rate. We've been having trouble locking onto any kind of pattern in the fequency changes for this side of the crisis line. We suspect that it's because of the fact that on this side, multiple Universes are sharing their frequencies, instead of there being only one original frequency. Thus, we can come here, but going back is going to be a much harder task."

"It's fine," Cat said, feeling a tad uncomfortable. She didn't like acting parental at all. "Just don't touch. Okay?" Without waiting for a response, she turned and left the room. As she walked down the hallway, she passed several more interesting rooms, and... a bathroom. Complete with shower. Cat hesitated, then peeked in. It looked clean; spotless in fact. Hmm.... Smiling slightly, she shut and locked the bathroom door after her. A nice, hot shower was just too nice to pass up.

Reaper listened to the man, but it still went over his head a bit. He was never much of a brain. Liked to solve things a bit quicker and simpler.
"She may have gone off to find Rosie. Hard to tell where she..." he began, then trailed off a bit. He got this odd look on his face a moment, then took a glance at his hand a moment before smiling slightly.
